The food and cocktails were excellent. We tried the burnt ends, and they melted in your mouth. The fried green tomato sandwich was great. The pimento cheese appetizer was tasty too. The service was also excellent. After all of that, I decided it was easier to take the slide to the first floor.

Came in from out of town thought would be a neat place to go and visit and what a wonderful surprise! The service and food was great. And going down the slide at the end was the cherry on top.

First timers at the Monogram Lounge and J. Rieger & Co. we were impressed with the Roasted Chicken was a hit, so delicious. The Cheese Board was outstanding except the blueberries were mixed in with the mustard spread. It was one of the best cheese boards we’ve had in KC. We also has the vegetable board and again delicious except the very soggy overdone broccoli. Finally, the service was good, but average. Not much attention given to details and friendliness.

We had a delicious dinner with friends who were experiencing J Reiger for the first time. They loved the ambiance that incorporated historical vibes and hipster charm. From the pretzel appetizer, to the salmon, salads and brisket everything was divine. The selection of craft cocktails was outstanding. There were too many to choose from so multiple visits will be required. Our server, KakiJo was delightful and so knowledgeable about the menu.
