The Mill Restaurant
Appropriately named after the sawmill that was originally established by John Finlay in 1897, The Mill Restaurant and Caboolture Sports Club was built on the very grounds that once processed timber for the region.
Enjoy a great range of express specials from the Mill Express for lunch and dinner in conjunction with the a-la-carte main menu!
Nice meal and pleasant surroundings. Well worth taking the time to visit/
Food was delicious. But the wait was very long. We waited over an hour for meals and were surrounded by some rather intoxicated people as it had gotten quite late.
We would definitely return but would try and book an earlier table.
The menu was well presented and had a nice mix of seafood, meat and pasta. I had the grilled barramundi and it was done to perfection.
I liked the option of having a side salad instead of chips and the dessert bar had wide variety of sweets. The Blueberry Cheesecake was wonderful.
All up, it was a lovely dining experience.
Over a 1 hour wait for main meals.
Not good enough
Went Wednesday night for 2 for 1 deal. Service was really good but food was not up to scratch. Will try on another night to see if it was a one off though. Overall club was good, clean and had a very good vibe
Poor disgusting service and food! No one seems to take any pride in working at this establishment
Celebrating Losar - Tibetan/Nepali new year.
Apart from the wait for food we had a lovely evening. Food was well presented with very good proportions.
First time here since moving around the corner! Sorry we didn't come sooner.. place was awesome, great deals & even better food!! We've become regulars :)
Food was tasteless and costed a bit more than expected
We had the gnocchi as usual, and now that it is finished, we will be a while before we are back. Please put it on the menu permanently. We all just loved it.
This is the second time I have eaten at the Caboolture Sports Club. I have found it very good value for money. Very good surrounds. Very helpful staff. Overall 5/5
Have been several times for dinner can not complain about the food is always good
Size off meals is excellent
Good meals and we all had a nice time
The Mill would have to rate as one of the best quality food outlets my wife and I have visited in a
long time . Value for money it rates 10/10 and we certainly recommend it to anyone we know.
The staff are one of the best assets the Club has and certainly make any evening very pleasant.
Just keep up the good work and we will not leave you.
Cheers Clarry and Jan.
I thought it was average to ok! I have been there 3 times now with my daughter who lives up this way with her young family. I drove past Narangba Tavern to get there as I do not find it value for money as I do with CSClub.
We went to the Caboolture Sports Club to use up some birthday vouchers so the value for money was fantastic. Not too busy. My partner had the roast beef. Very well cooked if you like it that way. I had the chicken. It was a little dry, but considering the late booking we had made... Kids nuggets are always a fav. His meal was free because of the special. The lady at the express menu register was very friendly and helpful. Very nice Mocha and slice from the cafe.
It was very good, we asked to change tables because the air conditioning was suddenly turned up, so was too cold for older people. We were accommodated very quickly with no fuss, thankyou very much. The meal was well prepared and very tasty. Service was great. We really enjoyed the experience. We gave 4 stars, as in every thing, there is always room for improvement ..even just a little bit. We will be back ! Can't remember WHO said that !
We dine at this restaurant often when we are visiting relatives in Caboolture. Nearly always the meals are lovely but this time I ordered the trio of eye fillets with the seafood on top. The steak was not rested for long as the meat had bled all through the puree and looked awful. Two of the eye fillets were so tough, however, thankfully the third piece was a lot better. As I said we eat here often and I'm sure this was just a one off bad day!
We were over charged by $16 on our order, we waited over an hour after ordering for the supervisor to come out to fix the issue. She return and placed $10 out of the $16 on the table and walked away before i could even say anything. It only took 20 mins for the kids meals to come out but an hour for the adult meals so we couldnt eat together as a family. The meal was very ordinary and the steak topper was forgotten so we had to wait extra time for that to be brought out also.
CSC has vegan options which is wonderful. It would be great if they had a few more added to the menu but it is wonderful to be able to dine out and get great tasting vegan dishes.
Been a few times for the convenience of interstate family and friend catchups. Always pretty noisy with the microphone caller yelling their gambling wares at you, which seems pretty constant. Food is pretty good but way overpriced for what it is. Staff have always been friendly and professional. Just a bit meh as a nice place to meet and eat.
Loved the double Wagyu burger, was a nice night. As usual, the kiddo really enjoyed the kids club.
Good meals and service. Friendly staff. Value for money.
Food was great. Comfortable atmosphere. Nice and relaxing. Look forward to coming back
The new club layout is very good and the Mill Restaurant as it is now known is excellent value for nice meals.
Bistro a little cramped and noisy but even so we had a great time with friends.
We had the all stars steak which was fantastic and such good value for money. Would definitely go back on a Monday or Tuesday night for the all stars meals.
Good food, great location! There was 10 of us & we all had a terrific night.
After being told we'd wait 45 minutes if we wanted to order steak, one guest changed her meal. Our meals didn't arrive for 60 minutes. Although meals were quite large serves and reasonably priced for the size, I'd suggest some could actually be slightly smaller serves (eg. parmigiana is very big) and therefore slightly cheaper too. Those who ordered parmigiana weren't able to finish their meals.
The lady singing was way too loud and we were sitting at the back
We went as a family for my daughter's birthday.
The staff in the bistro were nice.
The children's meal came with a voucher for ice cream..to get the ice cream, you had to leave your family & walk way around the other side to a different eatery.
After waiting almost 20 mins for the ice cream, I inquired & was told there were many other food orders for that eatery ahead of me!
How long does it take to put a scoop of ice cream in a cup?
I told them to forget about it & left in disgust. From the annoyed looks on other parents faces who were simply trying to get an ice cream, I wasn't the only unhappy customer.
It's the most ridiculous set up that I have ever encountered in getting your child's dessert!
They need to pick their act up & serve the dessert in the "restaurant " that you're eating in, or will definitely lose many customers!
Have had meals there before so continue to dine there from time to time.
Very busy night there on Saturday night -lots of celebration.
Never the less the food was yummy & will return again in the near future for more of your tasty cuisine.
It felt like I was dining at a noisy pub. Food wasn't anything to write home about, but the service was outstanding. The bistro, even the a la carte (which is what we chose) always seems to be hit and miss when we go. Last time we went it was pure pleasure. This time it was awful. It puts us off returning. A bit more consistency would be appreciated.
Ample parking, friendly staff, real cold beer, good variety of menu options + hearty serves at reasonable prices, clean + tidy, toilets were spotless!
Only went there for a few ales and lunch with friends - everybody was quite happy.
I do recommend the Caboolture Sports club to others. Thank you!
salmon was too dry. was hard to eat because it was so dry. my daughter agreed she had same thing. we both could cook it better
Dissappointed as i was a regular diner all the way from bribie, until i had my baby. And hadn’t been out for 6 months...
Decided for our anniversary to book somewwrre special which was your club. Even had to register as a new member even though we barely get a night to ourselves to use this membership.. but was happy to, as i loved the club..
Booked for 7pm.. wait in line until 7.30 to order.. to get to the fromt and be told atleast a 45 minute wait before mains are served... which meant meals would be served around 8.15 if we were lucky..
we had to be back to babysitters by 9, which was 30 mins away, so you could imagine our dissappointment that we would need to scoff our meals in a matter of 15 minutes. All
Thanks to the overbooked service you had insufficiently provided.
Pretty upset that our one date night for our anniversary was ruined, and had to settle for a quick take away meal and off home...
This was our first visit to the club and we were suitably impressed, with the service and the quality of the food. The crusted bug tailed that we had were exceptional, and we would recommend the meal to all our friends.
Although the club provides a courtesy bus it does not provide a service to Beachmere, and with a retirement village with an expected residency of 1,000 this is a service that I believe should be considered.
All staff we encountered were helpful and friendly. Waiting staff were fabulous. Your Kidz Club room was perfect for my 2 grandchildren aged 5 and 3. Timing of delivery of our meals was spot on.
Apart from being very noisy with raffles etc. it was a nice meal, good service and good value.
