Fantastic food. Service good but waitress did not get back to me with a question that I had asked about my menu choice. Otherwise all good, reasonably quick service. We were all very happy with our food and experience at the Locksbrook inn. Thankyou 😊
Beautifully decorated and great outdoor covered area, well done
Food good but quiet a few customers wandering around without masks which put me off....
Literally perfect! Such lovely staff, tasty food, great environment, everything perfect, couldn’t recommend more!
We really enjoy going to the Locksbrook but it lacks in ambiance and my steak was very undercooked so had to send it back. However, otherwise the food was nice and we would go again.
Excellent service and a lovely setting.
Food was good, no complaints at all.
Good food and great service. We just wanted a light lunch, which we had. Other diners were having larger meals which looked good and we will be back to try.
Good food, friendly service, nice location. Tables with a decent amount of separation. Not too loud, but not too quiet either.
Last minute evening meal- delicious food with great service as always x
Great food and fantastic service thank you we will be back
We had a really lovely time and felt very safe as all the distancing rules were adhered to.
Lovely place to stop for lunch after cycling from Bristol along the cycle path. Delicious food and great service.
We’re big fans of this small, local chain. We haven’t been here for a few weeks as we’ve been trying the Moorfields Inn but the food (choice and quality), service and value were very good, as with all four destinations. I really enjoyed my pork dish. Recommended.
Nice evening. The ale was great and food good. I had fish and chips. Waitress was very helpful
Very good service, Food was delicious, Friendly staff.
Fabulous food and friendly staff. We will be back
Excellent covid measures in place. Good friendly service. Sunday roast dinner tasty, fish and chips extremely good.
Great place, lovely food, helpful staff, and wonderful walk along the river.
I had the Pork Loin and Dauphinois potatoes and it was delicious, tender pork, a lovely gravy and roasted carrots, I will definitely be back for more. Then I had the most Devine sticky toffee pudding, real treacle toffee taste.
Staff were attentive and we never had to wait long for a drink.
The ambience was nice, but I felt a little cold, but that was because the door to the outside area was opened frequently to serve customers out there.
Good COVID-19 measures in place.
A very enjoyable meal.
As ever very welcoming and fabulous breakfast. Felt very safe thank you
It's a lovely friendly pub with decent food.
Usually pretty good service but this time found staff a bit busy playing and flirting than actually checking whether we wanted/needed anything especially how everything now is table service.
No one asking us if we wanted pudding/any other drinks which would have been nice. We did have to go and ask for the bill at the bar and pay there as staff carried on chatting between themselves.
All in all a friendly nice environment.
Very good atmosphere. Made to feel welcome. COVID rules very well observed without it feeling unwelcoming or unfriendly
Excellent food, fabulous service and lovely friendly staff 😊 Thoroughly enjoyed both our coffee stop mid morning and our lunch after a fab walk along the towpath. What a great place for a pub! Will definitely be back again - highly recommend 😁
Great food and service at a reasonable price. Very COVID aware with all precautions n place.
The measures taken due to covid-19 made me feel safe & secure. The breakfast was delicious
It’s better than nothing but the truth is you get cold when sitting outside in December. Even with thermals, hats and scarves it’s not the same. Order loads of booze at the start as once you’ve eaten you can’t order more.
We very much enjoyed our meal out at The Locksbrook Inn. We had wonderful service thanks to Katie and Maddie. We felt very looked after. Katie in-particularly went above and beyond to help us feel very welcome, she was very approachable and friendly. High Five to her.
The food quality was LOVELY and both of us enjoyed our choices very much. Loved the Christmas feel of the venue and hope to be back in the next few weeks. Thank you.
Lovely service. Good food if expensive. We will visit again.
This pub was very well run and organised yet provided a relaxing atmosphere. We enjoyed a very pleasant Sunday lunch with our daughter and would thoroughly recommend. The location is out of the way but when you find it, it is a surprise. Also the location on the canal makes the journey to and from much better!
The food and service were lovely, our only issue was that we asked for the gravy on the Sunday roast to be served separately but it wasn't.
Lovely pub with friendly and welcoming staff. Would recommend!
Good atmosphere
Great breakfast as always, nice coffee and really good service. The only downside was that we didn’t really appreciate the thudding music, even though the volume was low, it was not something you wanted to listen to whilst having a relaxing breakfast.
Lovely environment, good menu and helpful staff. Vegan ice cream was amazing.
A good evening & so lovely for us “OLDIES to have a night out in a nice pub, in theses strange times.
Delicious fish and chips. More vegetarian options needed.
Had a great evening at The Locksbrook Inn. Staff were really friendly and the food was very tasty, we even had a dessert which we rarely bother with!
Being vegan it's often difficult to find good quality food at affordable prices, but the Locksbrook has a number of lovely vegan options. My favourite is the vegan roast on a Sunday.
Really enjoyed our Sunday roast here. Great food, lovely decor and helpful staff
Great food and service, family friendly and lovely right next to the river
