The Lobo Plantation is primarily a premium cocktail bar with a deep and abiding love for all things rum. Don't worry though, we do stock all other major spirits as well as beer, wine, cider, etc. We have a bar menu available if you're feeling hungry however food is definitely not our major focus - we're all about the awesome cocktails and great service!

Private Party Facilities
Lobo is suitable for mostly cocktail style functions of up to 100 people. We take exclusive hire bookings only on Sundays or before we open Monday - Saturday. So for a day when we usually trade (Monday - Saturday), you'd need to start before we open at 4pm and then you'd be welcome to stay on in the space once we open to the public. For Sundays, you can have the space exclusively until 10pm. All exclusive hire bookings would require a minimum spend plus a 5% service charge. In some cases, a damage bond may apply.

Fun, lively underground bar. Kinda loud, but I'm kinda old! Cool and quirky.

I chose Lobo for a weeknight catch up with two work friends because I knew it would be atmospheric and casual. This was a great decision after previously visiting Lobo on a crowded saturday night. The cocktails were delicious, with excellent friendly bar staff who made us feel welcomed but I'm afraid the food didn't meet the same standard. We were most disappointed by the size of the portion of the chicken wings that did not reflect the price. Otherwise a marvelous evening.

Lobo Plantation is a wonderful place for people to gather together and enjoy a variety of wonderful cocktails. I have taken plenty of people there because the staff treat you warmly and with respect.

The drinks may be a little pricey but the quality of the drink and the service makes it all worth it. This is a place you bring friends or a hot date to. the atmosphere is so distinct you feel like you are being swept away to another world like Alice travelling to wonderland.

You have not tried a properly made cocktail till you have been to Lobo Plantation. From sweet passionfruit drinks to the tastiest of rum cocktails, there is something for everyone.

The only thing I would suggest is that the sound be turned down, it makes it difficult to communicate with a group when the music is too loud. HAving said thaat, they play some beautiful music that you just have to listen to! I will be returning to Lobos soon!

Everything was wonderful as per usual, I have been here approxiamately 5 times the past 6 months and every time i have been amazed at the high level of friendly service. I came on Saturday to celebrate a friends 21st and the waitress *clearly on a trial i hope* I found to be very dissapointing, did not serve our booked table for 15minutes and we were the only table in the service area! Thanks, Mia.

The place is great but we had terrible service, the waitress was knocked a glass of Moet over one of my clients and said she would give us a complimentary one which we had to chase her for. As we had already bought a bottle and didn't want any more alcohol we asked if they could comp one of the food plates instead we were about to order at the same price. Apparently this was not possible as food and drink was separate. We then had to complain again as nothing was followed up only to be given $15 in cash! First of all this does not cover a glass of Moet and secondly we were not too impressed with the attitude , it felt as if it was our fault rather than theirs -overall feeling very disappointed

A little too noisy for the size and an overzealous doorman unaware of the reservations to hand (I had 7 empty table seats whilst a 'one-out-one-in' policy was in force). Otherwise, great cocktails.
