The Lansdowne Pub
One order was incorrect but the food was delicious and the personnel very helpful. We received a phone call confirming our plans which was thoughtful. It is a fun environment which added to the Fenway Park. experience. We would return again.
great spot for red sox pre game
Awesome food and service!!
Everything was perfect. Thank you for the great service and food
Game day neighborhood gem with a great pub menu and good beer list.
Get the Irish poutine!!!
Great spot before a Red Sox game!
Alway love it there. Definitely missed the calamari though, my only suggestion would be to put it back on the menu! It was always the best calamari ever!
We had such a great time!! Service was consistent and attentive! It was loud and vibrant inside and we loved it - the livestream of the band was a very clever idea! Great value for what we ordered. cant wait to go back!
The food was very good. Service was excellent. The atmosphere was good until the virtual band started. The sound was so loud it drowned out all conversation.
Went for st pattys day. Wish they played more irish music for the holiday but other than that we had a great time. AMAZING food!
The Mac n cheese was amazing!
Was so great to be back here!! They have a new chef and the food was amazing. Best staff ever- so attentive & kind. They were able to covid safely accommodate our large party and it was amazing. Our server Benita was phenomenal- huge thank you to her!!
Great staff food was cooked to perfection. Will return for sure.
Loved the themed brunch and bucket for mimosas here!
thanks so much AngelicaE, we have some great themes coming up for our brunch and a couple cool Trivia events on Tuesday nights now as well! Hope to welcome you again.
I usually love the Landsdowne for brunch, but the service was terrible. Despite there hardly being any tables full, it took us forever to get drinks/food, and when it did arrive, the food was combined incorrectly. We also never got the replacement items we asked for. 3 hour visit for 2 rounds of drinks and our meal :/
Hi Daniela, Thanks for letting us know about your experience at the Pub. I'm sorry it didn't live up to what you were accustomed to. Trying to staff right now is very tricky, but I can assure you we are working diligently to provide the same experience people have come to expect at the Pub. Please send me a message if there's anything I can do to help out, I'd be happy to buy you a round or a meal if you would be willing to give us another try. Sincerely, Luke
FORGOT TO TELL US THEY ARE CLOSED ON MONDAYS!
I got a single pancake and added Oreo crumbles and Reese’s pieces...wow...best pancake I’ve ever had!
Three friends and I went for the Friends Themed Brunch and it was great! The restaurant played episodes of the show and created a special friends menu for the event. Most of my friends that I was with ordered the avocado toast, which would’ve been better with fried runny eggs instead of the boiled egg that came with it. The cocktails were brunch traditional and also created in mind of the show, Friends. Overall good value and a great experience that we will remember fondly.
Under new management so the service and general flow of things was a little slow but hopefully will improve once they get up to speed. Overall a good experience.
Good pub food. Outstanding service. Perfect place for dinner before heading to Fenway Park
First time at the Lansdowne Pub - great vibe and high energy. Highly recommend the Grilled Cheese appetizer with Duck Confit - really different. Interesting drink menu - loved what I ordered a lavender vodka concoction.
Definitely visit this restaurant as it was definitely my favorite in the area. And, don't skip the Milk Chocolate Crème Brulee.
Great place to go to before Sox game. Adequate food, wide menu. Good bar. Getting a rez on Open Table is a plus.
This place is great if you need to get in and out before a show at House of Blues. Food was good; nothing out of this world but for the price it was pretty tasty. The Onion Dip (with housemade chips) was especially good!
Sat outside before a Red Sox game. Very attentive service. Prime rib burger was fantastic!
Sat outside, great time
I have mixed reviews, the food was okay at best. hen making the reservations they neglected to tell us the patio dinning area had a 1 hour time limit, it took 15 minutes to get table service. The menu had a primed rib corned beef that was nothing more than a stew with two eggs dropped in it, nothing close to a hash. The home fries (roasted potatoes) had absolutely no seasoning. I know it was a Sox game day but that is no excuse. They could do much better.
Good sports bar near Fenway Park. We thought it would be a quiet and less crowded location since the Red Sox were out of town. However, the focus was more on serving drinks and playing loud music at the bar. We had trouble finding a quiet spot in the restaurant to have a business dinner. The service was excellent, but the food was just satisfactory.
Irish breakfast before game with iced irish coffee yummmy
It was a very busy Saturday evening- pre-concert and pre-Red Sox game and we were over a half hour late for our reservation due to transportation issues. I explained at the hostess desk who had initially predicted a half hour wait - but then found an open table. Our server was wonderful and the food was delicious comfort food on a chilly and rainy evening. I wish I lived closer - I would be a regular!
We will be back! Very speedy and friendly service. Great atmosphere! Overall a perfect choice for food before the game.
Food decent but cold. Wait staff- new waiter. Need we say more?
We arrived 30 min before our reservation and although the place was packed they still got us right in to a table. Unfortunately after waiting for 20 min at the table with no one coming to it I went back out and spoke with the GM who immediately came to our table and took our drink orders. The GM returned with our drinks and was surprised to hear no one still had been to our table to take our order so he took the order himself. The GM came back but with some complimentary shots for our troubles and again asked if anyone had come to the table which I told him no. He literally stood at the table until the food came out and constantly came back to that table to make sure we were taken care of all night. It’s a great place, the food was good. When in Boston check them out you won’t go wrong.
Our waiter was very personable and helpful regarding all of my food allergies. He really made us feel welcome.
Excellent place to grab a bite. Service was good, food delicious, highly recommend
The live music was great!!!
Food was good, very lively atmosphere. It was after the Hurling event at Fenway, so probably not the best place to go for dinner in that case, but I would definitely give it another try. The waitstaff tried hard in all the noise and commotion.
Woefully unprepared on a day with 25,000+ expected next door for an event at Fenway. Clueless doorman didn't help. They moved us next door to Bill's Bar with absolutely no servers available. After being ignored for 25 minutes we walked out. Thankfully, we discovered the Cheeky Monkey Brewing next door, we will go there again real soon.
It's a sports bar, near the stadium, and perfectly fine for that! Cavernous, unpretentious, quite loud music, friendly service, lots of Tvs, a stage. Too loud for us, but I imagine it's quite lively during sports season, and the food was just fine. So, nothing to write home about, but pleasant enough.
Food was very good. Even served s freebie birthday cake to the birthday girl. Was quite empty on a Monday night. I imagine there is a big crowd during a game or on weekends. Service was great.
