Excellent in every way. I would definitely return.
Vegetarian options could have been better, my friend asked for some haloumi in her burger instead of meat and it was just bread and cheese. Not great for the price, could have come with salad and maybe some sauce
Lovely refined afternoon with the girls in beautiful surroundings
Very good food in a beautifully appointed restaurant. Service very friendly though a little slow at times. Not a problem though as I felt we could relax and not feel rushed to finish our meal and leave. Would love to return sometime in the future.
Overall a very good experience, flawed only by a little lack of attention to detail when it came to keeping our glasses charged. Our wine bucket was some way from the table and I wouldn't normally expect to have to fetch it myself!
By far one of the best Ivy’s I have visited - nice pleasant atmosphere - great location and food was excellent and tasted good, well presented.
Has the chicken Milanese and was defo worth the trip to Leeds
Beautiful restaurant. Lovely interior, food was excellent, really enjoyed the ambiance & the DJ at Sunday brunch!
A very beautiful setting; the food was exquisite and the atmosphere was just perfect. I particularly enjoyed the apple tarte tatin!
The food as always was perfection. Staff as attentive as always and everything was perfect. Not the cheapest meal out, but when the quality and standards are so high, I have no issues about the cost. Will be back soon
The decor is very impressive and the waiting staff very polite and tentative. We had afternoon tea and I thought at first there should be maybe one more sandwich, but actually it was plenty. Had a lovely afternoon with family.
Lovely afternoon, great atmosphere and service, reasonable options for a group of vegan, vegetarian, shellfish allergy. Food prompt once ordered.
Had to remind staff to bring items we had ordered. Kept waiting for drinks for a very long time and had to prompt again. Food was delicious. Toilets unclean and in need to some attention.
Love The Ivy but disappointed by the Leeds one. Had much better experience at Harrogate.
Lovely restaurant, the staff were so friendly and helpful. The service and food were delicious and served in a timely manner. Tables were slightly too close together, felt like we were dining with strangers!
It was a Birthday treat from my son (along with seeing Ed Sheeran) and the whole day was fabulous. The food was outstanding in the Ivy and very reasonable. The staff were lovely. Will definitely be back next time we're in Leeds.
Had a fabulous brunch to start our wedding anniversary celebrations, the waiters were exceptional and even brought us an unexpected pastry to share, lovely touch. Can’t wait till we visit again.
Welcome was excellent and made us comfortable. Decor is fabulous. Waiters were helpful, food of high quality at a fair price. A very good experience
Exceptional service, delicious food and interesting cocktails! Perfect meal and venue for celebrating.
We were seated at a table with yellow velvet chairs which were absolutely filthy . When we asked for clean chairs the waiter was a bit sniffy and instead of offering us another table made a fuss about getting a ( slightly ) cleaner chair ! The other chairs were almost as bad . Very disappointing if trying to differentiate from a Starbucks !
Suime service & amazing food as always.
Fab decor, great food and excellent customer service. I had a wonderful birthday meal with my girlfriends - thank you.
Absolutely fantastic meal and service. Only negative, the background music was very loud for late afternoon. Would not stop us returning, however I would ask for a quieter area.
Absolutely loved the whole place! Stunning artwork, lovely ambience, felt really special despite not being in period costume!
The decor was lovely. We ate upstairs and it was busy but not noisy. The service was good but no one asked how our foodwas during the meal. However staff were around, poured wine and we're unobtrusive. Far too many French fries for us and most people I would imagine. Don't like to see food wasted.
Would revisit though as the whole eating experience was worth while
This was my third visit to The Ivy but my mother's first - I took her for lunch for her birthday. We both really enjoyed it - the food was excellent (highly recommend the Jackfruit Salad which we both had for main course). The smoked almonds are lovely with a drink too - we didn't order starters as the portions are quite generous! The service was very efficient from arriving to leaving. The waitress was attentive without being overly zealous. We will definitely be going again.
This was for my friends 50 th birthday
The table wasn’t ready then it took twenty mins to order a drink
The food was good but service not great
Then as I was leaving I reminded the server that it was my friends birthday she had forgotten and said oh yes I forgot I have a cake
All in all not the service I expected
We have now been to The Ivy in Harrogate, York and Leeds. It is the same menu in all 3, but somehow the experience - great ambiance and lovely staff- was by far the best in Leeds.
First time at the Leeds Ivy having always been to the Harrogate restaurant and we were apprehensive of change. Thankfully this wasn’t necessary as the place is simply beautiful with attentive staff and excellent food.
Delicious food. Service was excellent. So attentive..and all done with a smile. Couldn't fault it. Will be back again soon
As always a lovely experience
Very well presented and tasty food
Easy to get to
Leeds by train too
An excellent way to spend a birthday afternoon
Lovely food , great service . Not been to the ivy before but we shall definitely return !
Service was pretty poor, I’ve been a couple of times and it just hasn’t improved. When you go to the Ivy you would expect superior service. Staff need more training.
Food was nice, exactly what I expected.
Don’t mind paying the prices just wish the service was on point.
Comparing to the one in London.
Lovely service. Made it a special lunch.
Yes I would recommend because the Ivy in general is a good experience. We had a full English and it was good quality and well cooked, it was also nice and hot. The waiter was friendly and efficient. I must say, and I’ve thought this a few times now but when I visit the Ivy in a two, the tables are too close together, quite uncomfortable if having a private conversation , really too close for comfort, in fact a couple seated next to us asked to move and maybe I will do so next time. The full English was a little pricey but if you visit the Ivy you have to expect their prices and in general it is special.
Excellent swordfish and the garden pea soup was fabulous - cocktails also super nice
Good food but service disappointing- given wine from wrong table, had to keep asking for drinks. Had voucher to redeem and manager miscalculated amount and only took 60% voucher value off bill
Thoroughly enjoyed our first visit to the ivy . Most definitely won’t be our last! Whilst set in a super cool and sophisticated environment the level of service was 2nd to none! Supremely professional! Polite friendly and attentive from the moment we walked in the front door. 4 course
Meal with wine , beers and cocktail for 2 including tip all for under £150 .. now that screams value to me! Experience completed by lovely staff having friendly conversation with us during our final drinks after biil was paid! Stayed around 2.5 hours, never rushed and a great dining experience!
This was my first visit to the leeds Ivy, I have been to other's the food was very good as usual, but noise levels were too high both the music and then the conversation as you had to compete with the music, to the point it spoiled the evening, we did mention it to our waiter but it didn't seem to make any difference. I will still go to the ivy but not this one.
It was an enjoyable experience but there was a bit of a muddle when we first arrived as our table wasn’t ready & there was no where to sit at the bar. The first drinks we ordered didn’t arrive & we had to reorder. The decor was lovely inside, interesting & unusual. Our waiter was attentive & helpful
Disappointed with the quality of food and attention to detail with service. Very overrated
