Absolutely lovely food, such a wonderful place
An excellent birthday lunch. Good value for money especially with the government eat out to help out scheme
The staff were excellent
Fantastic place to dine.... Temperatures taken on arrival.... sanitizers on the tables and in the toilet areas... very very clean and great staff, everyone took their time to make you feel welcome and comfortable. Our waiter was very knowledgeable about the menu and we couldn't fault the food or the service. Highly recommend The Ivy.
A lovely experience after so lo ng in lockdown. Courteous friendly staff, fantastic food beautifully presented and decor is amazing. My favourite place to eat!
We had a lovely time: we felt very safe and the staff could not do enough fir us. The restaurant is beautiful, the menu choice is very good, The food was stunning and the service was friendly and impeccable. We really enjoyed our first time at The Ivy and we will definitely be back. Thank you fir making it so special.
Absolutely outstanding experience- would reccomend to anyone. Staff were fantastic and the food was delicious. My only regret is that I didnt discover this place sooner!! Cant wait to visit again
Great overall experience. Trademark Ivy decor and service. Thoroughly enjoyable for brunch.
Amazing. Me and my boyfriend went to the ivy for date night for the first time and loved it. Food was delicious, staff was friendly and it was spotless! We will definitely be returning.
Cocktails not fruity or tasty enough for me and the names were insignificant and confusing, therefore over priced and over presented (far, far to much ice in the glass - on holiday that would be a cheap trick and out of date now) Starter not enough toasted bread but the Pate was very good. Excellent fillet steak and accompanying sauce, chips excellent too. The chocolate bomb and strawberry sundae excellent. Overall very good but the optional 12.5% service charge still rankles me - it is still not clear enough as to what happens to this money which is a huge amount on a bill - presented like this I never pay it anywhere but will always tip good service direct to the waiter.
Beautiful setting . Beautiful food . We had a lovely evening .
Very good service, food in general was good, but the steak was over cooked.
The service was very good, we were seated at the time booked.
The selection of food was very well presented
Overall it was a very good experience
Unfortunately there was a large group of drunk females who had to be told to respect the other guests several times which spoiled the atmosphere somewhat. Luckily we didn't have to endure it for too long though and the food and service was excellent.
It was lovely, we really enjoyed ourselves and the food was delicious.
My only light gripes are that there was a table of ladies who were so so loud and we were struggling to hear each other. A member of staff did ask them to keep the noise down though. We also would have liked to stay a bit longer for more drinks but I understand you needed the table.
All in all we had a lovely evening and we will definitely be back.
Perfect afternoon with friends, food and service was amazing
I visited the ivy for lunch and found the food and service quite disappointing. I specifically asked for a side order of vegetables to be cooked throughly for my mum but this request was ignored, the broccoli was so hard she had to leave it. My main, a chicken salad consisted of iceberg lettuce, quinoa with chicken and accompanied with a sauce. It could have been knocked together very easily for a fiver. I found the whole experience to be casual dining at fine dining prices. Don’t believe the hype.
Birthday lunch for my daughter food was terrific with special dessert for the birthday girl!! Staff very friendly and professional and service excellent
Outstanding as usual, staff were excellent even in these difficult times , food was perfect as usual, Erik done
Fantastic food and customer service we will be returning for an evening
Absolutely amazing food and service. The lady was lovely who serviced us but forgot her name, very bubbly lady!
Lovely surroundings, food was gorgeous and the staff were very polite, friendly and attentive. Had a really lovely lunch !
A wonderful child free lunch out. Gorgeous food and beautiful wine. The ambience was total bliss. 4* for service as waiter dropped my food as he was putting it down. A minor mistake which spoilt the presentation but didn’t affect the taste.
Super service and food. Got a table outside and the whole experience was very nice.
This was the 4th time i have dined at the IVY. I would recommend it 100% .
Exceptional but slightly over priced - beautiful surroundings- ideal for a special occasion
Really enjoyable meal for my sons birthday, service was excellent
If being seated by a washroom is your idea of fine dining I’d recommend you try the Ivy
service food all good however meal was spoiled by bunch of very noisy ladies so we couldn’t hear our conversations, feel manager should have asked them to quieten down
Fantastic food with amazing flavours and excellent service too. Would definitely visit again and recommend to others.
First time back since lockdown
Service & staff were amazing made us feel very comfortable 👍🏻
Lovely, relaxed dining experience. Fab decor. Attentive service. Sea bream with a side of truffle mash was delicious as were our desserts. Will be going again and would definitely recommend.
Outstanding! Everything was just so lovely. Thankyou again the Ivy is our favourite place to come.
A really pleasant evening although the upstairs was closed due to restrictions on distancing etc. Waiter very attentive and friendly - food was lovely but we felt portions could have been a bit bigger, especially on the sides.
Fantastic service and wonderful for in a gorgeous setting. Covid safe. We felt really comfortable and safe during our experience at the Ivy. Thank You
beautiful resteraunt fabulous food exceptional service love the place, professional friendly well informed staff
Great food and service catered well for gluten free
Lovely ambiance ,great food and our waiter could not be more helpful what a lovely find on my visit to Leeds
We were made to wait over 30 minutes at the bar for our our booked table. Bar staff just ignored us, no smiles nothing. Lady greeting was lovely and apologised for the wait, service was slow, again no smiles or chatting. I had to wait ages to get the bill, again just being ignored. I advised on the booking it was my daughters birthday and would like something to mark this on her pudding but nothing came however the table next to us got a candle and message. We arrived at 1.20pm and didn’t leave till 4pm. This took me over my parking which cost me a fortune and the meal was also very expensive. I don’t like having a service charge added automatically to my bill, I just paid and left but will not be returning again. I normally go to Harrogate which is outstanding and feel the ivy in Leeds is no different to most other places I like to dine, it certainly wasn’t an experience like I get in Harrogate. Food was outstanding shame about everything else!!!
The food was delicious and the atmosphere was perfect. Staff and service were lovely.
For a wonderful meal out in great surroundings you could not find anywhere better in Leeds City Center. The staff were very conscientious without being overbearing and the food was both appealing to the eye as well as the palate. Will definitely be returning.
