Never fails to impress. They are the best in business at the effortless comfort model
Excellent food and service as usual. My wife and I visited The Ivy for our 20th wedding anniversary as it is a special place to go to and we were not disappointed.
Perfect. Service exceptional, The Ivy has great energy and vibe, best Dover Sole I’ve probably ever had. Super charming staff. It’s a must go to.
I HAD THAI SEA BASS AND IT WAS ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS - Our servers were terrific and we enjoyed our evening thoroughly!
Great service and food
Went to The Ivy for the first time for lunch to celebrate a special friend birthday .Had a super lunch and the services were excellent. The food is fabulous. Will definitely go back
A special meal for a special birthday in the family.
The food was exceptional and the service was very good.
Am looking forward to returning soon. Thank you.
Great meal and a great place go a little touch of class we will be going back again
The fillet steak was melt in your mouth perfect!
I love this place, very posh. Great for a special occasion or a treat. All round lovely place to go.
Wonderful meal! Attentive staff and service.
The original Ivy always delivers. Great services and ambience. I just wish the other Ivy outlets were as good in terms of food choice and quality.
A truly wonderful restaurant with attentive, friendly staff who are knowledgeable about the menu. The ambience is wonderful and you feel engulfed in utter indulgence while at the same time feeling relaxed and comfortable.
The food is beautiful and I loved the Crispy Duck and Watermelon salad, absolutely amazing.
I love The Ivy and always feel privileged to be able to dine there. A London icon.
Excellent restaurant, always delivers in a traditional way that is rarely seen outside of the west end
Took a very good friend to lunch on 27 September to celebrate his birthday. The waiting staff were very attentive and made us feel very special. The food was excellent and the birthday chocolates served on a special plate were an unexpected surprise for both of us. Would highly recommend The Ivy restaurant for any special occasions .
The waiter was arrogant and didn’t seem to be much interested in the tourists. We are Americans and felt very unwelcomed by our waiter. He seemed to rush us through. Did not listen to us. We had come to your restaurant on the recommendation of that wonderful documentary that was done on your remodel. The food was hot and very well prepared. Your waiter was not. It is the only experience we had in London that made us feel British service was not up to par.
My go to pre-theater dining destination. All the dishes are superb. Each visit I try a new dish. My wife and I shared the crispy duck and watermelon salad for the the first course. We will order that again! Food, wine and ambiance provide a great start for a great London theater experience!
Average food served impeccably
Attentive staff, incredible food and a beautiful venue- all in all a fantastic evening. Will definitely be returning!
The atmosphere is wonderful. Location is perfect, food is the best. Service is spot on - couldn’t ask for better.
Notwithstanding paying over £500 we were asked to leave as people were waiting for our table. I would have understood if we had been there too long but we did not even have deserts. Never in my lifetime have I ever been asked to leave like that in a restaurant. Staff were polite enough but false. Food was okay but I have had far better for the price. Ambience was average and menu fairly boring.
The service was impeccable, and the food was divine. One of the Best meals we’ve ever had, in a beautiful retro setting. A spot where celebrities and royalty dine, and we can see why.
I love The Ivy. Love the deco feel, the history and the familiarity. The menu is so extensive but down-to-earth it is difficult to choose only one thing. The service is second to none and as an extra special touch we were given an anniversary plate of delicious chocolates. A thoroughly lovely evening.
We loved this restaurant and will be back when in London
Ivy has a high standard that they meet, without fail, on every occasion. Always a pleasure.
The food was BEAUTIFUL! The service was perfect round down to the last little detail. The atmosphere was lovely, busy and lovley but not to loud. Quite pricey but it’s a very posh restaurant so was worth it :) would 200% recommend especially if you are celebrating a nice occasion like an anniversary or birthday and want something a bit special. Also think they is a perfect range of food to suit everyone
Our 25th wedding anniversary. Superb cuisine and ambiance. We were ignored the first ten minutes after our arrival, but then we we were appropriately attended to. Loved the sauces and fresh produce.
The food was good but not a great experience when the waiter drops gravy all over the floor which splashed all over our shoes and handbags! He was apologetic, but he wasn’t sure of how to deal with the situation at all.
Superb as always!
Exceeded expectations. I wasn’t especially hungry so ordered the Mediterranean salad which was possibly the best salad I’ve ever had. My fellow diners thoroughly enjoyed their meat dishes.
Will definitely return on my next trip to London
Love the Ivy.. had steak and was slightly over cooked for my liking so be very specific when requesting how it is cooked.. but otherwise excellent as always..
Great choices on the menu which suited the differing tastes of my group. Service was very good and attentive. Our parents really appreciated the ‘Happy Anniversary’ message on the plate of chocolates! It was busy but this did not affect the service, we would return!
Where I was sat I was constantly bumped into. Either by other diners, or member of staff. The food was ok, but the whole evening sadly wasn't as special as previous occasions.
So full of nostalgia and and was made to feel like a million dollars. Staff were so kind and attentive. Cant wait to go again. This was for our 25th wedding anniversary and could not have picked a better place.
Love this place! The food and service were remarkable. We can’t wait to go back.
My delayed birthday dinner. They gave me a wonderful plate with truffles and a chocolate birthday greeting. Very nice experience for such a popular restaurant.
I have visited the Ivy on a number of occasions, all have been very enjoyable. The service is excellent, the staff are very attentive as well. Looking forward to my next visit.
The Shepherd's Pie is as good as they say it is. Excellent.
The magic is gone. Tables are too close together, menu unexciting, dress code is lax and the meet and greet was very poor. Despite arriving on time, we were forced to wait at the bar for 15 minutes for our table - until we pointedly asked to be seated. The table was close to where we were sitting at the bar and had been empty the whole time we waited. Wait staff were lovely but other London restaurants offer better food and experience for the money.
Lunch : calf liver are medium cooked and super soft and juicy. No weird smell or taste, just like a tender piece of pork Belly.
Dessert : perfect blackforrest cake chocolate and rum cherry are in well balanced, best ever have been in london.
Because the lunch experience is so good, I returned for dinner in short notice for snowcrab linguine with garlic.
It's fresh snow crab meat and every bite can taste it subtly. Went well with chablis burgundy white wine.
