One of the nicest places we have eaten in since lockdown will be back
Prompt friendly service with a nice buzz in the restaurant
Loved the decor and ambience, very good service and great selection of food and drinks
Totally over rated and over priced. Much nicer places in Dublin.
Good food, good service!
Excellent ambience, great food, and excellent service. Terrific, friendly waiter.
Sanitization also well thought out, with sanitizers on each table, strategically placed throughtout the restaurant, temperature check at the door, all of which meant that I felt very safe and cared for.
The chocolate bomb is to die for, and the signature G+T!
Excellent food and service. Had a fabulous night and will definitely be back soon. Highly recommend The Ivy
Great location and extensive menu. Attentive but discreet staff, great for special occasions or just for a real treat. We will be back.
Great atmosphere. Good Covid 19 safety procedures. Tables well spaced out. Hand sanitiser on each table and staff wearing face coverings. Food excellent
Absolutely amazing meal there were 5 in our party .. from the moment we arrived until the moment we left the staff were amazing and the food was just gorgeous five star all the way ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Wonderful experience, beautiful menu and excellent service
We were a family group celebrating a birthday. Beautiful decor, great for the photos! Friendly helpful staff, good food and wide drinks and cocktail menu. Would highly recommend The Ivy
Nice design inside. Awful food, trying to be fancy when almost inedible. Wouldn't recommend.
An excellent experience. Ambiance and food were excellent.
The food is a stand out for The Ivy in the experience we had when there on Monday 3rd August. We arrived on time for our reservation but were told our table wasn’t ready and would be ready in 5-10 minutes and we were asked to take a seat at the bar and we would be fetched when our table was ready. 20 mins later we were still at the bar while there were empty tables - I went back out to the hostess - who had completely forgotten about leaving us sitting. The service was quite haphazard, with our starter served before the drinks we had ordered were delivered (and an incorrect drink at that!). Would definitely recommend the food - couldn’t fault it as it was super tasty. Also to be fair perhaps the service was down to Covid and new restrictions etc - but it just felt very all over the place which was a shame.
The space is huge though which makes you feel quite safe at the moment that you aren’t sitting on top of the table beside you, and again from a safety perspective they stuck to the 1.45 rule asking us (politely) to leave when the time was up.
Food was fine, not amazing, but fine. The service was also ok, if a little bit condescending at times. But value was very very poor given the pretty standard menu and quality. It’s just annoying and petty that you order a pricey enough steak and then find that everything is an extra even including the pepper sauce. This brings it from a reasonable level to an exorbitant price. Same for all or meals except one. Overall, it was an okay experience, but much much better value and ambiance from smaller independent restaurants across the city. Was really looking forward to going here but honestly, I’d say give it a miss as just not worth it. Thanks
A really nice experience. Food and service was excellent and plenty of space between tables.
Restaurant is beautiful but food does not match up. Very basic. All of our table were I’ll after our brunch in the restaurant.
Very nice looking inside. Staff are really helpful and friendly. Prices are moderate - good value for some items considering the venue and ambience. Lovely place for a special occasion
Had the most amazing lunch with the girls - Staff were so lovely and attentive, food was gorgeous and the place itself is stunning.
The portions are huge and the price is extremely reasonable.
I can’t wait to go back!
Brilliant night for my friends birthday. Our server (didn't get her name) was amazing and so lovely. Food was great and atmosphere perfect.
Love the Ivy and have been several times. Food was excellent. Service not so much. Appreciate covid protocols are difficult for staff but had to ask twice for a few items as he kept forgetting. Asked for bread, forgot and then asked did I still want mid-starter which we did. No theatre to the meal or any real pleasantries to putting it on the table . I recommend the chocolate bomb to my friend, it was put infront of her and she was about to crack it before I told her to wait as their was caramel sauce to come. That was brought last. Will be back hopefully the service will be better.
Great service, food was okay. Friendly staff would definitely come again for the experience
Lovely setting. Friendly staff, food very good and delicious cocktails.
Great vibe at this venue, busy but well organised, many hand cleaning stations throughout the venue ,
Staff and food excellent
Prices expensive,10% service charge automatically add to final bill
Excellent food and service atmosphere still brilliant
Unfortunately not all items on menu available.
Prefer to be told at the beginning rather than choosing one and having to choose again !!
In general nice service and nice place.
An absolute disgrace that over 80% of staff when not wearing masks or face shields and those that did decide to wear masks were wearing them incorrectly, not even covering their face. Wreckless behaviour given the current environment.
Gorgeous lunch in a beautiful setting, excellent efficient service also.
Everything was superb - our waitress was so attentive and made my friends birthday extra special!
The dining expereince in The Ivy, Dublin is always a real treat. The staff are excellent and the ambiance is very chic and luxurious. In general the food is fabulous but on this occasion, we were disappointed with some of the main courses. In particualr, The Ivy Hamburger was disappointing as the beef pattie was clearly not freshly homemade but a rather dense and salty piece of processed minced beef that was not very tasty or enjoyable to eat. However, the rest of the food was delicious incluidng the Fish & Chips, Vanilla Cheesecake and Chocolate Bomb. Please improve the quality of the burger - othwerwise everything was excellent.
Service was good and food was nice as always. It took a moment to actually get a table after our reservation time but once we did get, everything was fine.
The staff were wonderful & made us feel special as we were celebrating our impending nuptials 💕 unfortunately the food wasn’t great.
Recommend the monkfish curry and chocolate bomb for desert. We enjoyed our spritz cocktails....Chloe who looked after our table was so lovely and made sure we were content at all times. Shes a gem, give her a payrise!
The Ivy is a lovely restaurant with delicious food, beautiful decor and friendly staff
The choice of beer was very poor. If you dont drink wine you end up drinking draft beers so take a big chance
Great experience, food was delicious and service was excellent
Wish they would bring back the steak sandwich to the menu!!
An absolutely beautiful restaurant with delicious food.
Lovely lunch - plenty of space for social distancing and great value. Will be back.
