I think portion size is extremely small otherwise it’s affordable and great ambiance.
Would recommend to go again.
Very expensive for what we got,
Early bird menu a joke very little choice,
Sheppard’s pie size suitable for a baby and so dry.
And to top it service charge for 4 people????
And staff still not getting tips Shocking.
Who were excellent.
Shame such a cool place.
Finally. They got it right ! Loved the lunch.
We had a delicious lunch in The Ivy. As the four sisters rarely get together, there was lots to chat about and we sat a long time over the meal but at no time did we feel they were rushing us
Lovely atmosphere and food, just too long of a wait for drinks. Wait was over 25 minutes each time which is disappointing.
Very much enjoyed our dining experience at The Ivy - great food and lovely atmosphere and good service.
Would definitely recommend and would love to go back !
thank Ivy team.
Excellent venue will be back food service and staff great
Food was incredible and it was a lovely meal in the grand scheme of things, but I must say our waiter was very rude and kept loitering around our table as if he wanted us to leave or hurry up with our meal. Which in my opinion really disrupted my experience and kept me and my girlfriend very on the edge as if we had to leave and hurry up. For the place this is and money I’m paying I would expect the courtesy to be left in peace to eat my meal and not have the topic of conversation be... “oh let’s hurry and leave” on our anniversary. Overall though food was great
I would definitely recommend the afternoon tea in the Ivy, I went there for my nana's birthday and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. The atmosphere was perfect, staff were friendly and efficient considering how busy the restaurant was at the time. It really felt like a luxurious treat from start to finish!
Im glad i didnt listen to previous negative reviews. Staff were really friendly & efficient. The 3 of us dining are coeliac and this was accommodated no problem with gluten free eggs benedict & pancakes. The brunch prices are very reasonable & the setting really cosy.
Was cozy and tasty as always . Płace was not VEry busy .
We really enjoyed that brunch on Sunday .
Staff was really friendly and profesional .
We had a beautiful brunch in The Ivy. The food was absolutely amazing and was relatively well priced considering the setting and location. We will definitely be coming back in the future!
The atmosphere and service were great.
However our food was at best Luke warm and veering more on the cold side of even that.
It seemed to be the 2 servings of blackened cod that were most thermally challenged.
Amazing food and atmosphere! I have enjoyed it every time! Would recommend to anyone who wants a lavish dining experience with not too much of a cost!
Food was absolutely gorgeous , Staff very friendly
.we will definitely be back
Fab food, great service, wine by the glass a bit pricey but I'll definitely be back.
Just love The Ivy. Great atmosphere, food and service. However make sure you pay the service charge in cash otherwise the staff don't get it,
Wonderful atmosphere, fab service , food delicious. Very friendly and special place
The table and setting were lovely, and the staff were very nice. However the service got quite slow, and one of our meals was disappointing. Overall a nice experience and good atmosphere.
Great food, location, interior design, service and value for money! Will definitely go back and recommend to friends
It was okay, but it wasn’t amazing. The service was so-so: after we ordered the waiter came back a few minutes later to double check everything and then still brought the wrong order for one of our group. The food was good - it was weekend brunch - but not outstanding. The Ivy itself is lovely - the ambience and decor quite pleasing, so worth being there for that. Coat check service extremely slow on the way out.
I had read a number of reviews and was hoping for a better experience that others reported, but it wasn’t much better than average really.
A fabulous dining experience!! There is so much to choose from on breakfast menu. Eggs benedict was so tasty!
Great place ! Visited whilst in Dublin for my daughters birthday , very good.
Yes, as it is a beautifully decorated interior and worth a try. However in terms of a delicious hot tasty breakfast then No, maybe we were unlucky, poached eggs were cold and hard. Soda farl thick and doughy. Definitely disappointing.
Coffee was very good and waitress helpful.
We left a cash tip. Still not sure about service charge transparency.
Very basic food. Presentation poor, I had roast chicken which lacked flavour and disappointing to have to pay for mash which should come with dish
I was very happy with our visit as I had afternoon tea in the Ivy and wasn't impressed but dinner was so lovely and our waitress was just fantastic so helpful and lovely and that made out experience really
Really enjoyed a Mums night out, great food , not enough Gin Based cocktails for choice, very courteous waiting staff.
Loved decor, buzz and food. Lovely waitress Amy (from Louth). Although our table wasn’t ready on arrival manager presented bill before we even ordered coffee quoting time restrictions which we hadn’t even met. Said we could have coffee/drink at bar which turned out to be full so we just left. Long queue in ladies due to set up with wash basin/mirrors in individual cubicles.
Everything was very good except service charge for two people. Would rather give my tip to the people that served us, which we did.
Great value when able to use the early evening set menu. Good size portions and quite tasty.
I am a regular here mostly we had another good experience however my guest asked for her steak to be served blue rare and it arrived well done so she sent it back it came back cooked correctly but it meant I had to wait aswell so a little irritating
Then we retired the bar and specifically told our bar tender that we were going out to the terrace for a cigarette and he said he would keep our seats but when we returned they had been taken by someone else so we were a bit disappointed
If the Ivy can get these sort of silly mistakes sorted out then I will continue to dine there
So here’s hoping
I love the Ivy , everything is always perfect
The food was delicious, there were 5 in our party and every dish from start to finish was fantastic. The waiting staff were lovely and so helpful. My only complaint would be that Our table was booked for 2pm but we had to wait for a while at the bar and our first dish wasn't brought to us until after 3pm.
I had a wonderful time at the Ivy. The food was full of flavour and nicely portioned. Great selection of drinks.
The staff were friendly and attentive. We were sitting near the door which was slightly noisy at times. But it didn't ruin the experience.
Our experience in the Ivy last Thursday for a celebratory meal was an absolute disaster. This includes both service and food. I have had conversations with Diego (?) one of the managers who witnessed some of what we had to put up with and he agreed with me that my experience was not a pleasant one and he said he was embarrassed by what he witnessed. He rang me again on Friday for me to go through in detail our experience from the night before. He was the only positive thing about our experience there. He was to talk to the general manager and revert to me but sadly I still haven't heard from him to date. Absolute fiasco.
We had the most enjoyable couple of hours on Thursday, our waiter couldnt have been better, food was gorgeous and the whole atmosphere perfect. Will recommend to anyone and will definitely return.
Fabulous day and fabulous food at the ivy the service was a bit late as we were mistakenly over look but one it was brought to there attention we could not have asked for more superb food and wonderful afternoon spent on a rainy day in Dublin well done to the staff in the ivy in Dawson street
At The Ivy for our Sons Graduation on 7/11/19. Great food, very nice helpful staff.Super place with a great atmosphere
Excellent food and service. Lovely atmosphere with efficient staff and fun vibe!!
Our experience was excellent, I was celebrating my birthday with my sister. We were running late which I was very stressed & concerned about but once I spoke to a member of staff they pushed my appointment for me & put me completely at ease.
The service was professional & the food was excellent.
