Lovely in here. Service is always fantastic and the food was delicious as always. Will be back again I am sure
Fabulous food and service. Couldn’t fault anything.
The food was excellent the staff attentive all within a lovely ambiance.
Mentioned on arrival at reception that it was a birthday treat so a nice touch when they unexpectedly arrived with a cake.
Lovely food, staff & restaurant- very enjoyable & will return.
Food was overall good unfortunately we ordered three rib eye steaks that were ordered medium rare, unfortunately they were all over cooked, if you are going to charge £32 for a steak on it's own without any sides then you would expect it to be cooked correctly, the staff could not have been more professional, they took them away and brought us a complimentary drink , the steaks were re cooked but unfortunately they were raw in the middle and over cooked on the edges. Once again the staff dealt with it quickly and although one of my guests didn't want another steak they deducted all three steaks of the the menu, these things can happen but the staff could not of dealt with the situation better or more professional so a big thank you to them.
Otherwise we had a great meal and enjoyed our Sunday lunch.
Excellent service, lovely table setting, good food, coffee and juices.
Fantastic food and superb serbice. Best meal the other half and I have had out in ages.
Great food, cocktails very good, atmosphere very friendly, worth the money
Took my farther as a birthday treat great food and excellent service and attention to detail, will return just for the Jack fruit dish.
Excellent venue for lunch. Service impeccable and quality food in a delightful ambience.
It was my daughter’s birthday and I decided to take her to the ivy as she’s never been before, I’m so glad I did, we weren’t disappointed.
The whole experience from start to finish was superb, we had a lovely friendly welcome, the service was efficient and the food was amazing, my daughter had a wonderful time, it was very special...Thank You :)
Service was quick and attentive we were seated outside as requested and there was a waitress over to our table straight away, we ordered fairly quickly and my daughter made a change to the breakfast and this was gladly changed to suit her needs.
It was a birthday celebration and they gave a subtle her little tart with candle to mark the occasion very nice .
Would recommend to a friend and we enjoyed our breakfast.
I have already bought some vouchers for people for the afternoon. The setting couldn’t have been nicer. It was for a birthday breakfast and the service team looked after us so well.
Lovely buzzy atmosphere and enjoyed sitting in the garden. Service a mixed bag depending on who was serving and the food only really Cote standards and double the price...good for special occasions but would not be racing back in truth
Had a lovely late breakfast. As usual very good and friendly service.
It is a shame that the Avocado, Tomato and dressing on toast is no longer on the menu
Had an alternative avocado choice. Still very good.
Will of course be back soon.
Amazing time for my Mums 80th, food and service was amazing - thank you
Noisy customer on phone was unfortunate. Food OK but not exceptional.
I love the ivy in Cobham. I would appreciate more vegan choice please. Especially main courses with protein and puddings other than fruits. What about your fabulous chocolate bomb vegan !!!!!
Food was lovely, the waitress sadly was incredibly eager and kept trying to get us to order when we weren’t ready, got the order wrong when we finally ordered and kept trying to snatch plates away when we hadn’t finished! We went for a nice relaxing lunch and to celebrate my new job and I just felt under pressure to order, eat and pay. A real shame as last time was amazing!
Fabulous food. But portion sizes for main courses are small, and the staff are so attentive we felt hurried through.
I have visited the Ivy Cobham Bradserie, on several occasions, and time I've had a wonderful experience. Fabulous restaurant with beautiful surroundings. A great choice of food on the menu, All of which was excellent. The staff were very professional, prompt and helpful. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
From the moment you walk through the door you are made to feel welcome with a big smile from the front of house ladies. The food is of the highest order with fab presentation! The waitress, Kimberly was great being both professional and friendly. She looked after us very well. We didn’t feel rushed and I had a lovely chat with the manager who was interested in what we thought of the restaurant and how it compared in its earlier life!
The decor and the attention to detail is incredible.
My only criticism is the dress code or lack of it. It would be nice if customers made a tiny effort to look smart and change out of their work/gardening cloths! When I go out to a “high end” establishment, which The Ivy is, to eat I expect customers to merge in with the beautiful decor you have created. Some of your clientele looked as if they were going to the burger van in the High St then changed their minds!
Call me old fashioned if you want but I believe in certain standards in life.
Finally, a fun, chic, beautiful, yet unstuffy and child-friendly place in Cobham! We love it and appreciate all the attention to detail. Friendly, charming team. we need more places like The Ivy so we don't have to go into London when the Cobham Brasserie is booked (which it always is understandably)!
Our only criticism from us and friends is that the steak is too chewy. Had to send it back and just don't order it anymore.
Great food and superb decor but slow service , had to chase for drinks and food order to be taken after 20 mins which blemished the experience a little .
Great setting and ambiance in the restaurant. Fantastic service from the team of waiting staff. Now to the food - very tasty and well baked sourdough bread. The fish cake had a very soft and almost «liquid» texture, the tomatoe salad was meant to have some basil but it was not there. The pancakes were very dry amd lacked fluffiness and it seemed like interlaced Greek yoghurt has completely disappeared. Very tasty Shepard’s pie.
Our waiter was very attentive and friendly
The choice on the menu was great
Food portions are small for the price an drhwn yoy have to pay extra for the sides which are great portion sizes
Food tasted great and the flavours very different with tasty combinations
Only flaw was that they brought the wrong main out for me and pretended they knew and would get it but blatantly had to go order it again so my friend had to start eating before me and I had to wait around 5-10mins
The place was rather noisy and felt rather close to the people next to us as well as car parking not great
Always good for a family lunch or celebration. We go regularly so a few menu changes every now and then to add to the classics would be good.
Lovely! Great food, exceptional service at a beautiful location.
Nice visit. We were pleasantly greets, had a good table and joyed our brunch. The crispy duck salad starter was delicious. Well done !
The ambience is very nice and the staff are friendly. However, the food is average. We ordered two veggie breakfasts, and 2 full English plus drinks. When the food arrived you could tell it had been sitting somewhere waiting to be served rather than made fresh - the toast was cold and hard, served with no butter, the sausages didnt have any colour on them, yolk of the eggs had started to cook through. They also missed the halloumi from the veggie breakfasts and served black pudding on the full english when we asked for without. Bit disappointed to be honest, as from the venue you would expect better.
We had breakfast for a friends birthday
They got the order wrong so I ate alone
Then when my two friends breakfast arrived it was freezing cold
No one could eat cold poached eggs and tough toast
I did mention this to the waiter and they reduced the bill
But not what you would expect from the Ivy
My fish pie special was dry, over cooked and tasteless. The lamb dish came out luke warm.
Poor service from the start. Everyone’s pre dinner drinks came at different times. We had to ask for bread and olives. They ran out of my chosen main course. What I did have to eat wasn’t great; starter, main and dessert included. And to top it off the waiter by accident but another zero in the pdq and I ended up paying £2017 by mistake! Luckily I saw it and asked for a refund. Not back in my account yet however!
Fabulous food that was fresh, innovative and superbly cooked and presented. Wine and champagne by the glass are reasonably priced.
Great place for casual dining with lovely garden and outlook over fields
Graduation celebration with parents and grandparents
A fantastic lunch with every detail just right
Lovely breakfast sat outside in the sunshine beautiful surroundings
We waited 20 mins for our drink order. Then 45 mins later our food arrived. My wife ordered chicken salad. The chicken was burnt and over cooked! We sent it back then received a new chicken salad which was less burnt but just tasted of bitter burnt charcoal!
She decided not to eat it. The server didn’t charge us for it but it wasn’t touched. Anyway we decided to carry on and not let it ruin the night so we asked for the desert menu. They brought us the menu then left us for 20 mins to decide what to have!!! We decided to leave and get a desert from pizza express on our way home.
I know these big companies don’t care about the customers, they know if they are in a good location people will come. Well I won’t unless they change the chef and their service.
