Wonderful day for my birthday staff so helpful xx food lovely and drinks even better x
Food was overpriced for what you get. Then they wack on a service charge at the end which you are unaware of til the end. I will not be going back ever again.
Everything about our meal at the Ivy made our special occasion even more special
Fabulous Ambiance for a special occasion
A fabulous evening, wonderful service and great food
We had a very enjoyable meal in the Ivy. The staff were exceptionally attentive and made us feel welcome. This was an anniversary gift given to us last year for our Golden Wedding and we were only now able to use it because of lockdown. The only disappointment was that they couldn't serve us with cheese and biscuits to finish our meal..no cheese and biscuits!
Lovely just lacked the music
Not great value for money, honestly I wouldn’t have booked if I didn’t have a voucher they have a very large menu that consists mostly of fish?? Not everyone’s taste, unfortunately I didn’t like anything on offer for starter so I got the bread that tasted like cardboard. My main was okay I got the minute steak noting special. My parter also asked for a large/pint of Diet Coke as he seen I got mine in a small/regular glass to be told they only do bottles however no bottles see at any tables and when I asked for a second round mine came in a much bigger glass confirming that it was most likely draft and tasted like draft also. Service was a bit slow it seemed that bigger tables seemed to get more attention than just the two of us and also a service charge added to the bill? I understand if this was a big group but I just don’t think that should be done for a table of 2! I hope the service charge actually goes to the waiting staff as due to this we did not leave a tip. Unfortunately I would not return.
It was lovely
Had heard so much about The Ivy and it didn't disappoint. Beautiful setting, great service and delicious food. Special way to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Will definitely be back for the next celebration.
A great afternoon, we really enjoyed our day.
Place and service is fab.
We had steaks, only recommendation I would add is to include items with the steak to maximise overall value.
Definitely will return soon 👌
Even though the restaurant is new for Glasgow and the decor is nice, it's the staff and their service which impressed me the most. Everyone was, friendly, polite and very professional. Even the anti Covid practices they have put into place has been the best I've seen yet. I've not rushed to visit as the menu has never appealed to me, but I had a gift voucher that was about to expire. Food was fine, although I have to say the dessert was fantastic. We did have a lovely relaxing visit but I did think for what we ordered (2 people, 2 courses each, bottle of wine and water), £160 for an early light lunch wasn't worth it. I think in future I'd prefer to visit for drinks only.
Great experience, all safety measures in place so felt safer
Relaxing brunch and lovely cocktails
Top class from start to finish, food and service first class. Cannot wait to return again.
Server was Nina, and she was exceptional.
Great food as usual & everything spotless. Missed the background music but understand it’s not allowed ....
We have had lunch/dinner at The Ivy on a few occasions all of which we thoroughly enjoyed. This was our 1st for breakfast and we were not disappointed. Husband & teenagers had The Full Scottish & I had the vegetarian option....best scrambled egg I’ve ever tasted! Food was delicious and the coffees were divine! A lovely family breakfast.
Just wish there was music but know it can’t be helped. Even quiet music
Great meal , staff were very good, lovely evening. Will definitely be back
First time at the Ivy and can’t wait to come back! Service was great, food was amazing and everything possible was being done to keep us safe!
Everything was fantastic about the Ivy, just a bit overpriced for what we got but definitely go back.
Beautiful restaurant,super clean,staff great,food wonderful
Perfect for a special treat.
We very much enjoyed our meal and experience at the Ivy. Food was great, drinks were fab and the service was great.
Nice food nice setting some staff not particularly friendly. Had mentioned in booking it was my husbands birthday but no acknowledgement made - why ask if it is a special occasion? overall enjoyed our visit
Great service. Lovely food. Will go back. Second visit. I love the restaurant.
Great meal in a lovely setting, will be back again
We thought the food and service were both fantastic.
Beautiful surroundings, very attentive staff and food was amazing.
Food, drink and setting all faultless. Our food was outstanding and the restaurant was just gorgeous. Only negative points were being told that our table was needed back and that there was no where else in the restaurant we could go to have drinks... and then there was the 12.5% service charge which was a bit of a shock.
It was of course explained to be discretionary which is fine and we still left a generous tip, however I found the whole thing rather embarrassing/awkward.
Shame we were not given opportunity to stay for after dinner drinks as we could have happily stayed all night. Hopefully be back one day 🤞
Great time had at the Ivy for Friday afternoon lunch. I had received a voucher for Christmas from my niece but Friday was the first day my friend and I could make it. Started with Aperol Spritz and Blood Orange Margarita and then lovely Chicken Milanese and the nicest burger I’ve had accompanied by a very nice reasonably priced Spanish Macabeo white wine But the dessert was to die for. The Chocolate Bombe between us. Unbelievable!! Look it up on YouTube!! We so loved it that the two tables socially distanced from us both ordered it. All in all a lovely way to spend a Friday afternoon!!
Shared the haggis bon bons to start with the sourdough bread which were delicious, followed by the chicken milanese which was superb too. Service was excellent and not at all rushed.
We were very impressed by the health and safety measures in place - an excellent system and door staff made sure that all patrons were informed of them on entry.
The service from the waiting staff was very friendly and the waiter was very good at answering our questions about drinks and food choices.
The food we chose was well prepared and of a very high quality.
An excellent lunch.
Looking forward to going back.
From the moment we arrived until the moment we left The Ivy Glasgow we were treated as being special. This was our first visit and most certainly won’t be our last! Despite Covid 19 restrictions we felt relaxed and safe. The food was amazing and staff were a credit to the establishment which should be noted. Well done The Ivy!
Had visited before so knew food would be v good. Second visit didn’t disappoint. Booked table on balcony and it was superb, staff were friendly and our anniversary dinner was perfect
all the food was superb
only comment was when the lights got dimmed up the stairs was it was a bit too dim
Absolutely love this place. Came here because it was our wedding anniversary. If I could afford to come back here every week I would.
Perfect place to dine. Immaculate service. Will definitely book again when visiting Glasgow
Loved it! Will definitely return! Great food, drinks and service.
