Excellent and lovely dining experience
A nustuf you are in Manchester
Time went far to quickly with good company
Yes would recommend as we like this brand in edinborough and london .a couple of points music was to loud and the desserts came to the table cold having been sat at the till point for some time.the waitress spoke to a manager who discounted them but left the waitress to apologies. Not quite the same service as the other restaurants.
The atmosphere was really good but not too loud so you couldn't hear each other and the food was really tasty - a really pleasant experience! :)
Superb place for a meal with friends. Attention to detail from being greeted and taken to our table and then the waiter was superb. Food and drink couldn’t be faulted!
Amazing - I can die happy now I’ve had a chocolate bombe
Love this place and been many times. One small quibble though. The dessert menu was virtually impossible to read in the dimmed lights. There were 5 of us squinting to read the type. Shame.
I would recommend the Ivy to my friends, family and colleagues
Had great afternoon at the ivy food was fantastic, service was great by Aaron, music level was just right as last time we when it was to load.
It’s a beautiful restaurant, luxury but not intimidating. Lovely food, my favourite place to eat. Lots of great bars nearby for drinks before or after.
Stylish decor and beautiful details make this our first choice for special occaison dining. We have two children and although there aren't many children to be seen (or a published children's menu) the staff were warm and welcoming. Prices are a little steep but to be expected. The building really is wonderful. Special mentio to the staff, they are attentive, friendly and well dressed!
Beautiful restaurant, bathrooms, wine and service, all exceptional, just a few gripes; our table for two was super close to another table for two, almost felt we were eating with them, my warm duck salad starter was delicious but not warm and my husbands venison was over cooked. It was sent back and came back perfect but I had finished eating by then.
Waitress was wonderful and gave us complimentary coffee and truffles for the inconvenience. I would definitely go again as these things did not impinge on our overall experience.
Beautiful decor, vibrant atmosphere and good food but evening was spoilt by the tables being so close to one another we were literally sitting on top of the people either side of us. I wouldn’t mind if we were just having a drink but for our anniversary dinner it was a bit of a disappointment
Very disappointing visit to The Ivy Manchester- the decor is fabulous and so the fact that the food was very poor is unbelievable. Thought their wine list wasn’t great either . Love The Ivy in Covent Garden and recently visited the one in Chelsea both of which were excellent- hope they resolve the issues in Manchester
50th Birthday, service was professional and made to feel very welcome and special. The food and menu are not over complicated and cooked to perfection. Quality produce and well presented. We had a fantastic time and will be going again!! Thank you.
Thank you. A fabulous experience made special with the service from Marco who was amazing.
Gorgeous food, excellent service, amazing cocktails and delicious desserts. Went for my daughter’s 21st and loved it.
I’ve been numerous times but this was not my favourite time. The food came before the drinks which tells me it was pre cooked and reheated. There were a lot of people just having drinks which meant the queue for the loo was huge. The waiter who served us was great but the front of house staff less so. In fact as we were leaving I felt decidedly inconvenient for asking for mine and my mother in laws coat which were thrust at me without comment or even eye contact in a very busy foyer. Very rude. I then had to help her with her coat and throw mine on the ground as she has a problem with her arm. Whole occasion felt rushed. We also asked for a sugar free cocktail as my mother in law is diabetic. When it came we were told it did have some sugar in but “only a bit”. Diabetes doesn’t work like that so some awareness of different needs would be good. Albeit he was very polite about it. I’m sure I’ll be back but felt really let down as this was her first time and I’d raved so much about it. Was a touch embarrassed
Really worth coming , especially to celebrate a special anniversary with our family.
Kim attended us and was simply excellent.
We thought that the food would be much better ! In fact part of it came out cold not even hot plates... The service was good very polite and attentive if I came back the food would have to be a big improvement before I would recommend.
Can’t really say I was blown away and was probably expecting more given the hype surrounding the London restaurant.
The service was a little hit and miss and lacked continuity, slightly pretentious attitude from certain members of staff. Overall it was ok, glad we have been but nothing amazing.
Went there for a late afternoon meal , gorgeous decor , amazing service and the food was outstanding , will return soon
Loved the space, ambiance and the food was super tasty! Make sure you see all the floors :)
Also service was great :)
I took my mother for afternoon tea, which was a lovely spread of both sandwiches and cakes. More than enough food for two, she absolutely loved it
I visited The Ivy with my friend to celebrate her 50th Birthday. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel welcome and valued as a customer. The food was excellent and the service outstanding. Will definitely return.
The service is spot on but the food did not meet my expectations. If the creme brûlée is warm I will rate it higher....
Lovely server who took care of my mum and I was really attentive to my baby.
Nothing was too much trouble.
Would highly recommend
Great food and fantastic service, it was a little dark whilst reading the menus! And also had trouble getting my phone charged by reception. I didn’t find them very helpful!
The restaurant is lovely, very well presented with great furnishings and decor.
The drinks at the bar are very expensive, we were charged for two small glasses of tap water, given to us by the bar tender, not requested by us. My husband paid the bill as he didn't want to make a fuss on my birthday.
The food was excellent, the fish was delicious and some of the best fish I've ever had. The waiters were attentive without being intrusive and they were very pleasant. I hope the staff receive the 12.5% service charge which we paid as they deserved it.
We may return but being charged for tap water when we had ordered two expensive alcoholic drinks has left a bad taste in our mouths. We don't mind paying for things but don't like feeling we are being ripped off.
We loved the whole experience from the friendly staff to the food and the whole day was bey
The brasserie is a nice room and the food is fine but on the night we were there the music was far too loud for a restaurant. I eat out a lot and it's the first time I've been somewhere for a long time where we were struggling to hear each other when speaking at normal volume. This was a particular problem for one of my guests whose hearing is poor.
We went at lunchtime mid week to celebrate My birthday with my husband and son. Having not been before I did have high expectations going on it’s reputation; it did not disappoint.
The decor the superb in the Brasserie, with subtle but great background music and service was excellent.
Food came on time and was delicious, perfectly seasoned and vegetables not too soft. Swordfish was perfectly cooked and the truffle oil and Parmesan chips are to die for. Finish off with the perfect desserts and a couple of gin and tonics, what more could you ask for.
Espressos came before we had asked for them but were very apologetic and extras were served after the desserts.
We’ll be back again.
This is a great restaurant for any occasion. I always feel as if I'm dining out in style because of the decor and the courteous and professional staff. The food is also excellent but not overly expensive.
Booked a table for myself and my mum for our birthdays. They made us feel very special as soon as we walked through the door to the moment we walked out. Amazing food and the waiter was so lovely. Definitely be paying further visits in the future. Thank you
The food was lovely as too were the waiting staff however we were very disappointed t be seated by the lady on the front desk at a very small table immediately next to 2 other diners. We were close we could all hear each others conversations perfectly well and this felt extremely uncomfortable. I presumed we’d been seated there as opposed to the other numerous empty tables as they were booked however they remained empty for the duration of our time there. I would go back but I would absolutely ask not to be seated unnecessarily close to other diners.
The Ivy was recommended to us and we not disappointed. Everything about the restaurant was superb we will definitely return at some point .

The service charge was a surprise on the bill which took the shine off an otherwise really good evening.
The highlight was the service. We had such a lovely man looking after us. Couldn’t fault the food either.
We had one tiny issue with the restaurant’s policy not to serve 18 year olds unless they have ID. Normally my son and his girlfriend can share a bottle of wine with us but not on this occasion. We accept that it’s the restaurant’s policy though and will ensure they have their ID next time.
Bilal was our waiter. He was brilliant. He kindly met all our demands and there were lots of demands!!!!
Bonus for Bilal!!
An amazing atmosphere fab food made my daughters 18th a very.memorable day
