Fantastic atmosphere and food

This was our second visit to the Ivy and it didn’t disappoint.
Once again the food was amazing and the service was excellent.

Wonderful celebration! The Bath branch is beautiful inside, a visual treat as well as a culinary one!

As always an excellent evening the starters were beutiful and the main course and we all had sirloin steak was mouth watering, the staff under exstream circumstances due to the current situations were as always so friendly and helpful they are a credit to your organisation. Well done

Terrible, arrived at 6.30 left at 10pm. Cold food, order was wrong, food, service absolutely terrible. Will not be returning. Disappointed as this was a once a year family treat

Fragrant Duck Curry delicious but quite a lot of sauce perhaps needing a few more ingredients therefore. I think I’d add a squeeze of lime to finish.

Blackened cod beautiful fragrant flavours.

My 9 yo said best fish (and chips) ever.

16 yo had the Roast salmon delicious with an eclectic combination of flavours to the rest of the dish.

Love the place! It’s a real shame they are made to shut again under these ridicules new COVID restrictions!!

It was a pleasant evening but not the food was not the same standard as enjoyed previously which in turn reflects our view on value.

It was also very clear that the restaurant had done nothing to “police” the single household Covid rule which seems rather irresponsible.

Welcomed at door, waitress attended to us promptly. Food was good and came out in good time. Drinks in the cocktail bar were explained to us by Ryan. Overall great experience.

Amazing service from the minute we stepped into the restaurant to the time we left. Can’t wait to be able to go back and enjoy another exquisite meal.

Lovely food but found the staff not particularly or welcoming, we were sat for 20 minutes without a drink.on arrival and then had to chase them for it then when it came to paying again no one came to our table with the card machine for ages so we got up and went to the bar. Beautiful food but at those prices I expect much better service, shame really

Delicious lunch , we were able to dine out on the terrace and kept warm with the outdoor heaters. The food, drink and service were, as always, excellent. A lovely dining out experience between Christmas and New Year.

Very nice and welcoming made the whole occasion very special.

To ehat I asked for nether less I complained and they took the food off of the order this time would have just liked what I asked for in the first place which wasn’t that difficult .

We eat at The Ivy a lot as it’s my favourite place in Bath, the food is always delicious and the service is amazing every time...we’ve never had a bad meal!

Booked in for brunch during the Christmas lull time. This was by far our best experience of the ivy. We have been here 4 or 5 times in the past. This experience surpassed the others.
We were fussed over just enough. Attention to detail was spot on and the food was amazing- even the music was just right. We were seated upstairs ,which was a first, and next to the window. Our food was perfect- I asked for a swap of chips to something more veggy and this was also accommodated. Honestly we could not fault this experience and it was just what we needed after a very hectic Christmas of chaos at home. Thank you

I asked for my steak to be cooked ‘medium’.
I cut into it and it was ‘well done’, I returned it but the same piece was brought back (it had the cut in it) and it had been cooked more.
I sent it back again.... This time it came out ‘blue’, I once again sent it back but it was returned exactly the same.

Excellent service and food (cheese souffle was a winner), the ambience and layout are such that you feel 'covid safe' without feeling uncomfortable. Not a cheap meal out but the service and standard of food also reflect that.

Food was very tasty perhaps a slightly bigger portion would have been nice, but could not fault the staff the food and ambience, really enjoyed it and will defo be going back

We enjoyed a lovely early dinner on Boxing Day late afternoon, great service and always a good atmosphere and you can’t help but appreciate the decor. Cocktails, house champagne and food were as good as ever. Always come here for something a bit celebratory

Gorgeous decor and lovely ambience. The staff can’t do enough to look after you and the food is delicious and very well priced. We are vegans and have the curry which is delicious.

What most people would regard as a brunch menu stops at 11 which is simply ridiculous.

Went on Christmas Eve and atmosphere was ok in view of current circumstances Ordered a champagne cocktail which felt a reasonable request for an establishment like The Ivy. What the barman produced was definitely not a champagne cocktail! Was not drinkable. Decided on just a glass of fizz after we sent them back. Starters arrived then before replacement fizz which we sent away as we wanted to enjoy our champagne first. Service was polite and staff attentive to our complaints but I do not want my glass topped up with wine every time I take a sip. Had to tell them to stop in the end! I always want to love The Ivy but have before come away disappointed. The food was lovely.
