What a great place to eat. The covered bridge coming up to the restaurant is quite nice. Food was great, service was exceptional and the setting was perfect. Loved it.

Beautiful serene setting! We sat outside and watched the sunset. The service was great, the food was great, and the band that came on at the end of the evening was very fun!

The restaurant is in a beautiful older building. It had a very nice view. We are vegetarians/vegan and the food was good but boring. Mashed potatoes and steamed veggies which tasted good but not really interesting to go out to dinner for. It’s rare that a chef will step up and create something interesting. This was not one of those places. The other 2 people enjoyed their meals.

Wonderful visit with a peaceful and serene setting... Massage therapist were excellent and couple's massage was a wonderful treat... Overall it was a beautiful getaway... The breakfasts and dinner were excellent and the setting overlooking the mountain view, wild flowers with random bird sightings, butterflies, dragon flies, bumblebee bees and flying grasshoppers was breathtaking...

The press and description of restaurant made me eager to have a meal in what seemed lovely surroundings. We were disappointed in food, selection and service. Resturant lightly attended, wait staff hard to find. Wine, well less said the better. Lingering smell of cigar (from nearby bar?) lingered.

Dinner here is a must! I had the lobster ravioli and was blown away but how much flavor there was. I wish I could have this meal delivered to me. The service is excellent too. I recommend staying at the inn. It’s awesome.

Everything about the Inn is amazing. Starting with the best innkeepers, members of the staff, spa and chef. It’s better than feeling like you are at home. Just love everything about it!

My husband and I went here for our first wedding anniversary. It was a sweet, quiet environment with delicious food. I ordered the lobster ravioli and my husband ordered the duck. Both were fantastic! We will be back!

Really enjoyed our dinner and the view. Our server was great. Loved the sesame coated salmon. Tender and cooked perfectly. It came with quinoa, but the mouth feel was the same as the sesame seeds plus it was bland. Ask to substitute. My husband had duck and it was wonderful as well.

Beautiful view of the mountains. The inn is nestled atop an almost emerald green mountain space. We were greeted by Nancy, the Innkeeper. Shannon, our server, anticipated our needs provided us with a tasty dinner.

The meal was a perfect compliment to a relaxing Anniversary get away. Dining Room was a wonderful extension of the inn's ambience. The food was excellent: service was as well. Value was outstanding. This experience encourages us to try "in house" dining in the future as we travel in the future. Thorn Hill has et a high benchmark. We will be back!

Service and ambience are top notch. Harvest salad was great. Lobster ravioli lacked flavor/somewhat bland. Desert average.

Second visit. The first visit was similar.

Really disappointing overall.

This place is a world class winner. Large spacious rooms with big bathrooms and jacuzzi. Fireplace in most rooms. Views of Mount Washington from the dinner table and select rooms. Three cute little cottages for ultimate privacy. Dining is outstanding, roll your eyes back in your head good. Best part is the Inn Keepers Steve and Katey, the most accommodating people in all the north. Can't go wrong here.

The food is not at the level it once was. I am not being loyal to past owners, only an observance of what it should be considering price, atmosphere and tradition.

My husband had the seafood with vegetable risotto and it was delicious. I had the salmon with quinoa pilaf, mine was overcooked but tasty the pilaf was dried out and tasteless so I would not recommend it. I would definitely go back and just order something else. The atmosphere was lovely and very relaxing. We would like to go back and actually stay at the Inn.

Dining room is upscale and we'll set out. Food was outstanding. We ordered two different dishes and tasted both. Delicious, flavorful and well presented. The only disappointment was the server. The bartender greeted us upon entering and satbus at a table of our choice. It was then eight minutes until the first contact by the server. When she took our drink order she described the specials and asked if we had made our dinner choices. Seriously? Yes, we would like to relax, enjoy a drink, order appetizers and then move on to dinner. Unsure if undertrained or just having a bad night. Again, everything else was top shelf.

The owners are wonderful, cannot say enough good things about them, they make you feel like you are visiting family. My husband and I stay here several times each year, for many year now. The value is amazing and the Inn is high end all the way around! We sent our son and new daughter in law there for a night in January, and they wanted to go back for two nights next time! So it fits any age, if you are looking for a romantic getaway for two! The fire places, the food and mountains, the friendly service and the rooms are all beautiful! What's not to like?! Try it, you'll make it a tradition! The town of Jackson is quaint too! There is also sleigh rides at Nestlnook, very nearby, in Jackson too!
