The Heritage Wine Bar

Really good food freshly cooked and using locally sourced ingredients. To start we had a small tartlet of peas,sour cream and black garlic, delicious. We also had sardine and tomato on home baked ciabatta. Both worked well with an “orange” Sauvignon Semillon mix. I have not tried an orange wine before so from that point of view it was a very interesting first. However I do think winemakers try too hard sometimes and would be better employed reducing the offerings but ensuring consistent quality.
For main we had lamb rump cooked as requested rare. Extremely tender and tasty served with good vegetables and a really tasty fresh salad. With this we had the house red from Vasse Felix in Margaret River which was very good value for money.

This was a business meeting and we felt very comfortable to continue beyond our expected time because it was simply a great dinner with a very pleasant staff.

Food excellent, Service Excellent, only one slight issue and that was the background music volume was a bit on the high side when having a business lunch. hard to hear some of the conversation at times.

Such an amazing experience, well and truly enjoyed by all of us. The wine list was nothing short of impressive, and the food was simply impeccable! If you haven't been, you must put this in your list of places in Perth I would seriously recommend!! Yummmmm.......

Love this place! The food is a combination of high quality ingredients and carefully selected flavours to create a taste sensation with each dish. The service is top notch, friendly and attentive - faultless. The venue is a old building with some industrial touches, pineapple lamp stems, comfortable chairs and a dark moody colour scheme which I love. Coming back with friends really soon!

Gorgeous venue with an extensive wine list. Food was delicious and service perfect. A nice treat not a place for an everyday dinner!

Fabulous service but tiny and expensive portions so a mistake for a dinner as I'm a small eater but left hungry!

Noise was excessive but we came in at end of last day at work lunches on the 21st so not normal!

We did enjoy our evening, the lighting was a little bit low for us to read the wine list. (we are all in our 60's)
The chefs choice food came out a little fast and we had to ask to slow down.
The entree's were delicious.
The main also was delicious but a little small and dessert was very small.

Keith had tomato on toast when we got home.

We had our Christmas Lunch on Tuesday. The food and service were amazing. Highly recommend this place.

Amazing service and great value. A ladies lunch so we had the lunch special. The accompanying wine was very good

Beautiful, unique, moody and cozy atmosphere...it was a good experience. My only complaint is that the portion sizes were small, as is so often the case with finer dining. It left me wanting to order more food, but our bill was big enough.

Really enjoyed everything about it, thank you. Loved the pineapple lampshades, do you know where they are from ? 😄

Had a wonderful evening at the Heritage! Very friendly staff showed us to our table and explained the menu and wine list. Our orders were taken efficiently and without any pressure to chose quickly.

The service was attentive without being overbearing. Drinks were replenished without fuss and without needing to be asked. Meals came with an explanation as to what was what in a very friendly manner.

The food was exquisite! Great presentation, fresh produce and amazing tastes and textures! A foodies delight!

Dine & drink menu was excellent

The place itself is very nicely decorated, has a good vibe. Staff were lovely and attentive. My only gripe was that the food portions were just too small for that price. If I order a $40 'large plat' i expect it to be a bit more substantial. Wines were amazing, i'd come back for happy hour but not for dinner.

A lovely venue to have dinner before going to the theatre

Perfect. Staff excellent. James & French female waitperson particularly so. Wine gorgeous. Food stunning.

Lovely settling however the food size and cost was ridiculously over priced. Not a cheap night out as you have to order at lest 2 meals each . Cheaper to have a drink and go somewhere else to eat.
Very disappointed and won’t be going back😔

The Heritage Wine Bar is always a good central spot in the city for a business meal. The food was fantastic and the young French waitress was so good and well mannered, nothing was a problem. Thank you.

The atmosphere was fine but I found the Gnocchi to be very simple and small. It was $25 and I expected it to be a slightly larger size serve.

Food wasn’t too bad, we had to wait a while but they did warn us so that was fine. We thought it was a little pricey for what we got.

First time having dinner and everything was delightfully excellent. Will recommend to others and be back.

The food was good - we had the cheese fondue special (cheese fondue served inside a small cob loaf) which was really tasty. Overall the food and ambience were nice. The service let the evening down though - from being asked the same question by different wait staff on at least 2 occasions (eg have you heard the specials for the evening) to our empty wine glasses being taken away without being asked if we wanted another drink (we weren't finished eating btw). Given the service standards being set by other places in the city these days I think The Heritage needs to lift its game. Rated it good value overall as we used our entertainment card discount.

Just be prepared to pay.. nothing is cheap.

I feel very at home, because it reminds me very much of the type of places we loved to frequent in Europe, but with that special Ozzie food flair. And not to forget the wine! I also like it that they remember us, a sign of genuine hospitality in my book.

Venue is superb. Food is delicious. Wine incredible. The only elements that lets the restaurant down are the paper napkins, lack of table cloths and elecution of the wait staff. Apart from that, a good restaurant.

We spent a most enjoyable evening with friends....great service, food.

Lovely experience. Attentive, knowledgeable service, refined ambience, great food and a full wine list by the glass. With our chance to dine out limited we were glad to have chosen The Heritage for our night out.
