Great find and my husband and I liked the food and the service.
Amazing service. Can't fault our server, he was very knowledgeable and recommended the best wine I have had in ages.
We had a wonderful experience from start to finish. We recommend this place without a doubt.
The Heritage is always a great spot for stylish inner city dining. Food is fantastic, great decor and ambience to the room whether it be a business lunch or a quick catch up with a friend
Food was tasty enough but portions are far too small for the price you pay. Service was okay but nothing out of the ordinary. Doubt I would go back again.
For a fine dinning experience it was nice but not special
One of the entrees we ordered was Pork Crackling
may be just bad choice but was similar to a prawn cracker
you would get in a Chinese restaurant with some dip that was quite nice but
No Pork flavour and to me not a fine dinning dish
Mains were good but my chicken leg dish while very tasty very small portion chicken
Pricing was fine dinner so expect a little more we had entrainment card
so made pricing ok for what we had
Have dinned at this restaurant few times over the years but did not enjoy as much this time
both agreed was nice but might have been better going with set price tasting plates
The whole experience was wonderful - absolutely beautiful food, presentation and service.
Had to use a phone torch to read menu cause setting was so dark.
We were informed there was no Southern Comfort at the Bar.
Food choices on menu were very limited.
My partner was only able to eat some chips which were nice due to her allergies.
We decided to leave and when we got around the corner at Wilson Car Park at 8:12pm
we found that gates were closed so had to phone security to release our car:(
Food was good, choice was very limited and even though the place was half empty it took 50 minutes to get our mains and another 20 for dessert. We were on a work lunch and have an hour so basically it was nearly two hours. I could understand if it was full and busy with big tables but were were first in and it was nearly empty. I prefer the old menu .
Had dinner at the heritage wine bar with a chef from Melbourne, and everything was outstanding. The dining room was sexy, elegant and had a great vibe. We decided to let the waiter choose our food and wine, because frankly we couldn’t decide, everything sounded great. We started with bubbles then had a couple of different glasses of Grenache, both delicious. With food we had oysters to start, a few different snacks then shared a few mains.
Stand outs were the steak and eggs, sardines and the hapuka. Yum!
The service was great, everyone was very knowledgeable and lots of fun.
I highly recommend you try it out, you won’t be disappointed!
Our group finally was 4 so the booked round table was changed for a more chat friendly one.Our 2 waiters could not have been more helpful and catered to our every need.We were not hurried and spent from 12.30 til15.10 enjoying our get together and the delicious food and drink.A lovely experience and not my first at this venue. Thanks.
First time diners, as we were visiting Perth.
Great find, we will be back.
Great food - had the tomahawk steak. Amazing! Nice vibes and lovely open windows at back, beautiful building and good service!
Dined at Heritage for a catch up with a friend. The lunch special was excellent value and we added dessert - a must!
Staff were attentive but not over the top, we were able to catch up on all the gossip :)
We booked the New Year eve package and it was well executed just would have preferred the DJ music volume to have been softer whilst the dinner was in progress.
Terrific New Years's Eve vibe with an interesting delicious menu, very accommodating staff and fun atmosphere. The Colada Bomb was superb!
Quite possibly the best meal my husband and I have had in a very long time!! The service was outstanding, the food was sublime, and we will definitely be back to sample more from this amazing restaurant!
The food and service was exceptional, very courteous and efficient floor staff. Fantastic selection of wines. Place gets 'noisy' when it is filled up, but who cares after few bottles of wine. The price is on the high side, but you pretty much know that from beginning - not a surprise.
Like the offer of a lunch special. Wine was very nice and they catered for Gluten Free
Food was absolutely superb in every respect.
The only jarring note, common to so many restaurants, was that as the establishment filled up the noise level rose to near intolerable.
Great food, was pleasantly surprised. Service was great too will definately go back.
Lunch was enjoyable. Service was good, food beautiful, and spacious seating. Gnocchi special was delicious. Able to have a conversation.
We were made to feel welcome, staff was very helpfull, service was great. And as a returning customer I appreciated the fact that the staff recognised me and asked after my well being.
It was a lovely meal well presented and served! The wine list was impressive!
Had an excellent lunch the waiters were very attentive and friendly, the food was fantastic we were all pleasantly surprised but the best meal, and we all agreed was the Hapuka with squid ink barley, superb.
We all said we would come back for sure.
Heritage was highly recommended by Rob Broadfield so we had high hopes. The food and value were very good but the service was very off-hand and unfriendly. There was no "welcome" and no "goodbye". We liked the idea that all wines were available by the glass but there were very few wines at the more affordable end of the scale.
Good food with service to match. Limited options for those of who don't drink alcohol..
Ideal for a business dinner. Central to colleagues accommodation. Good service.
Another brilliant meal at the Heritage . The round tables are fantastic for a business dinner and promotes group conversation. The food is excellent, the service was impeccable and the wine was very enjoyable. A reliable place to impress clients.
A really authentic french bistro experience - beautiful charcuterie and fromage but with the bonus of inventive mains and small plates. The herb crepe with whitebait was brilliant. Great wine list. Service was a bit patchy and it was rather noisy once all tables were occupied.
I attended with a work group and it was great value for money - $25 for a main meal lunch (3 choices) and a wine. I don't drink wine and asked if they could swap my wine for a vodka lime and soda and I pay the difference. They said no, so I paid full price for my drink but I don't think they put any vodka in it (I asked others at the table to try it and they didn't think it had vodka in it either). They didn't serve me the wine with my meal which I could have given to a friend. I then purchased a second vodka lime and soda after my meal and it definitely had vodka in it, by comparison. The burger and chips was delicious, except I asked for no onions because of my dietary intolerances and it came out with a big pile of onion on the meat patty, even when the waiter said there was no onion. I picked it all off so it wasn't a huge drama. The venue is lovely, great ambience, central location.
First time at Heritage for dinner, the food, decor and service was amazing. Very enjoyable evening finished with some really great expresso martinis. Highly recommended.
Great spot for a quick dinner pre-show. We needed to eat quickly and the staff ensured we had a lovely time but were out in plenty of time to walk to our show.
The waitstaff were incredibly attentive and helpful without being pushy. They all had an amazing knowledge of the many wines and the food. The suggested wines were amazing (but not cheap) and tge food was absolutely divine. Don't be intimidated by the menu. Everything was delicious and the staff were able to explain every component to us when we asked. Tapas style share plates are the general theme. All are amazing and complement each other. We had a lovely relaxed evening. Great food, great wine and seriously awesome staff. Hoghly recommend.
Several items on the menu were not available. And several wines on the wine list were not available. On both counts--food and wine--we (party of 4) had to settle for second and third choices. To top it off, the restaurant charged us a surcharge on our credit card. Overall a disappointing experience. We will not be returning, and have recommended to others to give this restaurant a wide berth.
The food was good, tasty and not obvious;
However the best comes from the wine selection and the service.
Overall, a pleasant evening. It was a Saturday night so fairly busy as expected and a nice vibe. This may have been the reason that the service at times was slow. Other than that aspect, the service was professional and the staff knowledgeable.
Food was good but the main of lamb was smaller than expected. A great wine selection and many available by the glass.
The Praline Crunch was the best dessert I've had in a long time! So delicious! Great pate and chunky chips too.
Lovely food, nice environment, friendly and efficient service without overdoing it.
Do yourself a favour and have the crispy chicken - just brilliant - and great wines by the glass half bottle or bottle
