The Hampton Social - Streeterville
Fun place with good food and drinks. Very lively with an upstairs outdoor patio. Had the pizza and the pasta dishes and were pleased - nicely prepared, tasty and well presented. Servers are very attentive. Is quite noisy during the 5-8 pm period just in case that is an issue.
Good food. Good service. Fun atmosphere. Will go again.
always a welcoming environment, i refer all my friends here
I love the Hampton Social! Our food was delicious and our server was very attentive and great. I also loved having live music in the background! The room temperature was a bit warm during dinner, but beyond that everything was spectacular!
Excelente ambiente, la decoración y el servicio. Los días de semana hay happy hour en Rosé!! 😊
Great experience overall.
Terrible service but always great food and atmosphere.
I was not able to hear my friends conversation
The food was excellent. We had a range of small plates and shared. Everything was god. Particular favorite were the Brussel Sprouts with feta! I could have just eaten that one dish as my meal! I will definitely be back for more!
Extremely slow service. Food was decent.
Food was not that great. I been there before and our dinning experience was not that great this time.
Great summer outdoor dining spot!
Cool atmosphere in a central location. Good variety of menu options for the seafood and non seafood crowd alike.
Great and friendly service. The ambiance was amazing even on a Tuesday and definitely left a lasting impression on my girlfriend and I.
The ambiance was wonderful. There was a live vocalist, who had a very pleasant voice. The waitstaff seemed very upbeat and professional. Our waiter however, would disappear and we would have to waive him down in order to get service. He was kind and professional, but definitely seemed to be elsewhere and not attentive at all.
Perfectly average f&b. Ok place to grab a burger and a beer. The clam chowder is very good. Nothing special.
We sat on the outdoor patio on the second floor on a Saturday afternoon and it was so cute. The frosé was DELICIOUS and the lobster roll was amazing. I will definitely come back!
The food was very good. Service was average. My biggest disappointment was that the outside temperature was 83 degrees and instead of dining in air conditioned comfort the doors and windows were open and the air conditioning did not appear to be on. That may be ok for those dining outside, where there is hopefully a breeze, but for the rest of us dining indoors at 83 degrees is just too warm to enjoy dinner.
Went on a 90 deg day, so opted to sit inside instead of outside. Both areas were pretty full. The inside was not cooler though. The AC was blowing but the inside space was still over 85 deg hot and humid. Rooftop view is of a parking deck. Nothing special.
The low scores came from the fact that their air conditioning was not working and it was miserable in there. Our event was in the evening so I am sure even worse during the day. Unacceptable for the prices charged.
Fabulous! Highly recommend!
A bit too loud during live shows but otherwise a good place to dine.
We were sat at a table on the 1st floor- room was overly warm & very loud due to music - unable to carry on conversations. Water was served at room temp & unappealing on a hot July day. We made a few complaints to our server which may have offended her and then I felt that afterwards she was not very attentive to our table and that she avoided eye contact when we proceeded to order another drink, etc, which made for an unwelcoming dining experience. Ordered apps & Brussel sprouts were sour, naan was too heavily charred & spicy and guacamole was only served with 6 Chips which left more guac than chip ratio. We ended up leaving to eat dinner elsewhere. I have eaten once the Hampton Social in Burr Ridge and had a wonderful experience and was hoping that my family (from out of town) was going to have that same experience, but it wasn't the case at all. :(
The food and drinks were great; however, the air conditioning did not function on our side of the restaurant (by the windows) and we were forced to use the menus as fans. Additionally, our server informed us upon sitting that this was his first week and acknowledged how uncomfortable the temperature was, but declined to address it with management. He subsequently only intermittently visited our table from then.
I am looking forward to the new location opening in Nashville, but I was disappointed with the overall ambience and comfort level at this location.
Service was not great, no silverware and but into an olive pit
Pros; the food was amazing! Rooftop is super cute, overall decor true to the themed name of the place.
No communication between hosts and service staff. Was told roof was first come first serve but had to put
My name on a waitlist. Hostess walked upstairs and disappeared as I closed my bar tab where I was while waiting for a table that was “first come first serve” ... there were 5 4 tops open. But 30 minute wait for a 9pm Reso.
Had to go outside and search for a table with menus since hostess went MIA.
This place was adorable. The food was fantastic and they were able to accommodate the allergies at the table. The waiter was attentive. The beer could have been colder but not too bad. I would seek out this restaurant again when we travel.
Absolutely amazing! Staff was so friendly and really went over the top. Decoration is beautiful and location is ideal. Food was also spectacular. I will definitely be coming back!
The Brussels sprouts are outstanding! The Fleur Fizz was fantastic! Fun atmosphere.
Our waitperson Pedro was so nice and gave us great recommendations.
Service was slow, food was excellent and the atmosphere was good. A little street noise, but to be expected since we dined on the upstairs balcony patio. Overall we would definitely return again.
Didn’t care for anything any of us ordered at all and for what we ordered it was pricey.
Nice vibes and decent food. Would recommend for small groups.
Great place, great service and great food!
Hosted a bridal luncheon for my daughter. Food and service was outstanding.
Very slow lunch service. We sat for 30 minutes after our drinks arrived.
It was just a little too loud for our group to communicate without screaming. The guitar player was good, but too loud.
We sat outside, which was nice but there was no relief from the heat/sun. Even the silverware was burning hot and hard to use to eat. Wish there were some umbrellas or something!
Beautiful space and lively decor. A fun evening with my son. It's noisy but these days a quiet restaurant is hard to find.
