I got a cancelled reservation email. I went anyway and they were not full at all. Drinks are reasonably priced and my scallops were good. My friends meatloaf however wasn’t good and neither was the brown gravy on top of it.
The food was good and the server was great. He was very attentive.
Outstanding wait staff, varied and delicious menu selections with daily specials. Prices are moderate. Restaurant is comfortable and table conversation is easily heard. A "Cheers" like atmosphere at the bar. Recommended.
Friendly engaging staff, good food, fairly priced. Great happy hour st the bar, and some really nice entertainment in the lounge.
Wonderful experience again. Three out of the four of us had the tortellini special...it was delicious. Have always had great food and service at The Grille, and have eaten there probably 20 times.
Great food, live music, crowded. Only issue we had was only 2 pieces of bread. But the bread was good.
It is a very nice place with a great menu, great food and good drinks. Only suggestion and reason for the 4 star was the old fashioned I ordered. Might I suggest a single large cube of ice for the drink, instead of crushed ice. Otherwise, everything was great.
Dinner was pretty good this time. However, you shouldn't offer Caesar salad when you don't put garlic in the dressing or have anchovies in the dressing and to share. It's not a caesar salad dressing if it doesn't have garlic and anchovies. Service was as usual excellent.
Although there was nothing significantly bad about our meal, it was just average. I had the grouper special which was a Mediterranean blend with tomatoes, Clamato olives and capers. Would have been better if the grouper was cooked with the items and the olives were diced, but the fish was just bland. Mashed potatoes were bland. Husband had NY Strip that was advertised as 12oz but looked more like 9 oz and had quite a bit of gristle and fat. Flavors again very bland. Prices were what expected for the drive but the flavor just wasn’t there for me.
Sign outside is false advertising. 2 4 1 happy hr. Does not say that this is for bar seating only. Please correct
Great food and service with live entertainment, great cocktail lounge and restaurant! Seating in supper club with entertainer or in dining room separate from the entertainment or eat at the bar... something for everyone. Chopped steak and chicken Marsala were especially tasty!
We love The Grill. You are welcomed like a friend, great varied menu and the service is attentive. The entertainment in the piano lounge is a plus!
Thank you for helping make my 50th special.

I arranged for a party of 13 for Saturday, 4/21. Laverne was very helpful throughout the process of the reservation, and was very cordial when I asked for an increase of two from the original eleven. Our orders were placed and within 15-20 minutes delivered to us by multiple servers. The food, as always, was piping hot and delicious. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their entree, from crabcakes to meatloaf, chicken dijon and chicken saltimbocca, to shrimp scampi. Water glasses were refilled regularly and a pitcher brought to the table. My friends thanked me for putting together the group, and we had a great time. But the experience was further enhanced by the professional treatment we got from Jennifer and those who assisted. Also, we requested separate checks - some of us two on one check, and 4-5 individually. It was no problem for Jennifer and as we all checked out, it was smooth and seamless. Thanks to Jennifer and her helpers, and to The Grille for another very positive experience. I have eaten here probably three dozen times...always good. Thank you again!!
The food was okay but the presentation could have been much better. Grouper was swimming in white wine lemon sauce. There was a bunch of uncooked spinach in one corner. My partner had the barrumundi that looked like a glob of balsamic was hastily thrown on it. With the number of restaurants in the FTL area they need to considerably step it up.
Pleasantly surprised how the new management has exceeded our expectations.
Very welcoming to all. Arrive early as it gets loud and crowded. Sunset menu for early diners must be requested, and happy hour prices only offered at bar. Food was delicious, but needs more variety with better health conscious selections.
Anthony was an excellent server. Our dinner was delicious. Entertainment was wonderful.
There to celebrate our anniversary it was not mentioned nor was anything brought out we weren’t expecting anything but what a been nice if they do recognize that like other restaurants do.
The inside has been redone and the colors are beautiful. Our meals were delicious and our waitress Jennifer was friendly and congenial.
Went with. Group of 7 people on a Friday evening. The restaurant was about 2/3 full. Service was horrendous. It took about 15 minutes for our cocktails to arrive and well over an hour for dinner to come most orders were off the specials menu and consisted of sandwiches one order was not. Food was delicious when it came but doubt we will return anytime soon. Very disappointing
Meredith the bartender was great very friendly. Great to see women behind the bar instead of men all the time. Food could be improved .Quality of food. Fish was good shrimp were tough .Escargot tough not enough taste .Most likly the butter you are using plus need better quality escargot. There was not music that night we went on a Monday. Would go back again for drinks I don't know about food. Dining area lighting should be a little dimmer. I was in the food and beverage industry for 30 years from waitress to Bartender ,catering manager ,yacht parties ,weddings etc.
Food and service was great
Went there for a traditional Irish meal in honor of St Patrick’s day. Corned beef and cabbage as one of the advertised meals. Service was great, but the food was u acceptable. Corned beef was tough, and cabbage was undercooked. Potatos were good, but just a couple of slices of carrots. For the price I expected much more. Didn’t complain, but won’t be back anytime soon.
Really good food and fun atmosphere. Had filet mignon and it was delicious and cooked perfectly. My only negative is that, although they advertise as a steakhouse, they don't offer béarnaise sauce for the steaks.
Enjoyed the Early Dinner Special Of Pork Ribeye and Mashed Potatoes. The food, drink, service, and ambiance were very good and a nice value. I recommend trying it and will do so again on a return visit.
Very good as usuals
Very good ambiance and service is perfect
Walked in 10 minutes before reservation and got sat immediately. Jen then greeted us, took our drink orders and gave us a few minutes to decide on our entrees. My girlfriend ordered the 12oz NY strip well done with a side salad and a mash potatoes. Mashed potatoes were dry and tasteless, salad had pieces of bad lettuce, she received a medium cooked steak. I ordered the 12oz NY strip also, well done with the Parmesan truffle fries. The truffle fries were burnt and receivers a medium well cooked steak.
Manager came over briefly, not really concerned about the issue and said he’d get our server right over and that he’d give us a dessert. The “newly” cooked steaks came out (the same steaks that we had cut in pieces just thrown on the grill), and they still weren’t cooked well done the second time. My girlfriend received the same mashed potatoes that were soaked in blood from the previously cooked steak.
Needless to say we were very disappointed and over it at this point. We never received our “dessert”.
This is the third time we went and will be the last. The server was pleasant but the wait time seemed to be too long for the food. The portions relative to the pricing is not in line with a
" moderately" priced establishment. Translation for us was way out of line for two people with no alcoholic beverages and one appetizer which was on the minimal portion side of things. Was hoping 3rd time was a charm but it was not
We were purposely seated in the Cabaret Room for a popular duo's performance. The tables were incredibly close and it was very loud in the room.
Our group has eaten at the Grille twice in the last two weeks and everything was excellent both times.
We had a very delicious meal at the Grill . we shared the prime rib last beef, along with the spinach dip appetizer. The service was a bit slow but very attentive. The atmosphere is lively and crowded. we would go back as the other entrees looked very good.
Had reservations and was seated quickly. Took a long time to get our order taken. Server rarely came to table. Food took some time however the steak, ordered well, was med rare and seared tuna was cold as if placed in refrigerator. Manager did apologize and comped the meal, however this is second bad experience here. Doubtful we will try again.
Over all I thought it's ok. A hundred and thirteen dollars was a bit much for a okay meal that is the best I can say for your service was excellent and the sound level was good
Overall we enjoyed the evening except for the service. The server did not seem engaged and did not listen well when taking the order which caused the order to not come out correctly. We also saw an elderly woman fall off her chair more than once and didn’t see any management come to assist.
The seating was fairly cramped, but the entertainment was very good. My fillet mignon was perfect, but the temperature of the food was warm not hot. The service was decent. Even though we had reservations, they were still setting up our table at the arrival time.
Went for dinner. Nicely decorated restaurant. Service was attentive without being overbearing. Very friendly. Food was good. One negative was that two had steaks and the third a veal chop. Unfortunately the temperatures of the meats were all off the mark. The veal ordered medium came out medium rare to rare in parts. My tenderloin ordered medium rare came out closer to medium well. Third steak was undercooked. Asparagus was thick and woody. Not end of the world but not 5 star either
While our food was very good, it’s a bit pricey compared to other comparable restaurants.
Good food and drinks are to be found at this nice little spot. Though the real star of the show here is their wonderful piano lounge !
