It’s the second time where I’ve dined for lunch at The Green and if I had an opportunity I book again this week. The food is just terrific and the ambience of the restaurant is so spot on. Very lovely friendly service and just a very nice place to meet friends.

The Green was absolutely flawless! I have already recommended it to so many friends and I'm only disappointed that I hadn't tried their sharwarma spiced lamb sooner! The figs with basturma were also a highlight - the flavours in that dish were superb! Cocktails were delicious and I loved the tahini and chocolate cake too! Service was terrific and we really felt looked after the entire time, the atmosphere was energetic and happy - no hospitality chaos that can ruin a dining experience. Can't wait to come back - thank you everyone at The Green!

A friend recommended lunch at The Green and our lunch proved to be exactly what she said. Great value and absolutely superb Mediterranean food. I will definitely book again very soon. I also loved dining amongst all the plants and garden bits and pieces. It really is a lovely place.

My 2 friends and I visited The Green for lunch on a Saturday. We sat inside at one end of a long table with other diners. The decor is very appealing but as with most restaurants these days I found the background music unnecessary as there was already enough noise within the space from the chatter from all the other diners. The waitress was friendly and knowledgeable and we didn't have to wait long before our drinks orders were taken. We ordered the trio of share dips, falafels, trio of salads and a half charcoal chicken to share. It was quite hard to fit all the plates in the small space on the table. The food was super delicious and that was more than enough for the 3 of us. We managed to squeeze in dessert and my orange and almond cake was the best I had ever eaten. My friends chocolate and salted caramel cake was an enormous serve accompanied by a delicious vanilla bean icecream.

Lovely place, quite busy when we went so noise was a bit higher and service was a bit slower, but we’ve been twice in the last week so will definitely go back! Haven’t been hugely impressed by the food but the ambience is lovely (& there’s so few cafes on James St!)

The food is always lovely and fresh. We are always happy with our choices as we are vegan and there is so much variety. The staff are attentive and helpful and always so friendly. The plants and decor are very relaxing. We make special trips to go for lunch from the Sunshine Coast. So worth booking in!

Lovely staff, so friendly. Food is wonderful, fresh and tasty and caters for all tastes. Best Tabbouleh ever and nice coffee and wines. The ambience is great and we go there whenever we go to Brisbane from Sunshine Coast. I recommend it to everyone! My favourite place to eat!
