Lovely night out and the Feed Me menu was delicious! Attentive staff, slight delay on one of our cocktails but when we alerted the wait staff it was rectified immediately
Moody ambience to set the scene, delicious 9 course FOMO set menu and great service, paired with delicious cocktails.
The bar table section was a bit too small to dine. It’s just more for drinks.

Drinks are a bit expensive, but food is great. Expect it to get noisy as the night progresses.... great if you are keen to kick on
It's probably covid's fault and the lack of numbers but the food was hit and miss on the night. Decor seems tired. Menu sounded a lot more exciting than reality. Underwhelming.

Absolutely beautiful food. Fresh and so incredibly tasty. Service staff were brilliant. A tad on the expensive side, but you don’t mind when the food and service is so excellent. I personally cannot wait to return. My suggestion is going with one of the set menus to get a sample of each of what the a la carte menu has to offer 10/10 from me.
Birthday celebration. Good food but we were seated in a cubicle with no view. We had a degustation menu which is a Thai fusion. The price is quite reasonable. Service was good.
Really loved the food and service and they we're super accomodating about some of the dietary requirements in our group. Lovely ambience and atmosphere as well. Highly recommended.

The food was ok, pork belly was actually very delicious, but nothing was fresh. Everything tasted like they’ve been prepared hours before and reheated just before serving. Also, we ordered banquet, and usually banquets come 1 dish at a time, but here they brought several at the same time, which makes it easier for them but then it’s not ideal for us.
Had a great lunching experience. Great service, timing of delivery of meal, prompt drink service. Couldn't fault the experience. thanks David

They sat us down in a very narrow space with limited room to move, and the restaurant was intensely noisy. Furthermore, the service was not good!
Sensational food and great ambience Our only gripe was it was really loud so we couldn’t hear what others were saying which spoils a group dinner
We enjoyed the “Feed Me” menu - a wonderful selection from the main menu. We could not fault anything, but the tea salad and the pork belly were highlights.
The cocktails were just beautiful, and Toni our host was fabulous - she made our lunch very special!
A wonderful birthday celebration-we will return to sample more dishes, enjoy the ambience and relax with the excellent wine list and great service.

Service was pretty appalling. There were lots of staff behind the bar and serving the floor but spent most of the time ignoring customers. We had to keep getting up and asking for service just for drinks. Drinks would be made and left on bar for ages until we again had to ask staff for assistance. Spent the entire time requesting service. Drinks and food were great but service was the worst I’ve experienced.
We have been waiting for more than a year to have dinner at The George, and last night was finally the night arrived. Everything was so disappointing. Most of the food we got was cold, due to the number of diners that the restaurant tried to have in the one night, it was obvious the dishes were pre-cooked prior to service and not even heated up. Cold Pork Belly is not nice. We choose the banquet and were rushed thru it, when we asked if we could have a break between courses where were told this was not possible. We found out why later. Our waitress seemed rushed and under a lot of pressure and this reflected her service, which wasn't great. After two hours she found out why our meal was so rushed, as our table was going to be turned into a nightclub booth, where the people arriving were going to buy their drinks by the bottle and we weren't, we were told this. When I booked the table I was told we could keep the table when the DJ started. So we were moved to the bar and offered "a drink on the house" before our drinks arrived we were told that need needed to move from the bar, as that was booked also. I do totally understand the hospital industry has had it tough ( I was in travel) but I am sorry The Goroge, make your mind up. Are you a restaurant or are you a nightclub? And I am so sorry you are not in Mykonos.
Honestly- you should have gotten a 5. But nobody checked my group’s vaccine status. All your workers were unmasked. We spent the whole time worried about how many unvaxxed people were there. So as good as the food was (and it was great). I’m sticking to places that check we’re vaxxed for the foreseeable future. I’ll miss you guys.
We had a lovely night. The staff clearly were under pressure to perform. The menu selection was delicious however too much emphasis on chilli (okay for chilli fans but too few options for those seeking less of a burn. Disappointing how filthy the downstairs toilets were. The lack of mask compliance with staff and patrons I felt was disrespectful.
Fabulous food and really interesting venue. New staff on board doing a really good job. Was a little chilly but they turned the air up for us. We were an older group having lunch before the theatre. Very hip place. Would return.
Great food and service
Food was delicious. We enjoyed the FOMO Feed Me menu. A few people at our table are vegetarian and they were given substitutes for each dish. Only complaint is that drinks were exceptionally slow to arrive.
My husband & I loved the vibe of George On Collins. The food was outstanding and the service was friendly, informative and professional. We couldn't recommend The George more highly.

Booked about 2weeks early to secure a table for our group,had 2 follow ups just to arrive that our table was occupoed and had to wait by the bar for another 30-40minutes with the bar tender shooing us away frowm where we’re standing but we couldn’t move because the place is fully packed. It was slightly embarrassing. But still the ambiance was great we still had a good time at the end of the evening.
Unfortunately our dining experience was ruined as we had an extremely rude waitress who was hostile and aggressive.
Lovely and quick service. Food was very tasty and well enjoyed. Would recommend.
