The nature of Pub Food is changing all the time. At The Franklin Hotel we try to make sure that we can offer something for most tastes. There are some pretty ‘pubby’ plates – Schnitzels, Steak Sandwiches, Fish and Chips – and head chef Lachlan Cameron has put together a great little menu of some different tastes too!

If independent beer is your fancy, come in and check out our ever changing tap list. Leigh and Luke have experimented tirelessly to ensure The Franklin has become one of Adelaide’s Best Boutique Beer Boozers.

    Barramundi special was delicious - generous, interesting sides and superbly cooked. Other dishes at our table were also well received.

    Good quality pub food, large portions and good value for money. Great service from Lara. Quieter restaurant out the back, energetic tables at the front. Short wine list by the glass, but a couple of better than average wines for a pub.

    Love The Franklin and visit whenever we are in Adelaide. Staff are fantastic, great choice of interesting beers and drinks to try, with always something new. Food is excellent and very well priced. Great laid back atmosphere.

    We were very pleasantly surprised with the food, smoked pork cutlet & the frenched chicken breast, absolutely delicious, restaurant quality. The flavour combinations in both meals were inventive and certainly left us wanting more. Dessert, apple and rhubarb crumble was lacking rhubarb but still very tasty. The staff were very attentive and friendly, a credit to The Franklin. Special mention goes to Jess who made us feel welcome and looked after the minute we walked through the door. Without hesitation we have already recommended The Franklin to some family & friends.
