Look, we love going to the Crafers but on this occasion, one of us had a course which was not up to standard. The steak in the ‘Steak Frits’ was indigestible because it was largely gristle. Tasty, but gristle nonetheless. The waitress responded to my comment and arranged for a replacement steak. This was better, but still tough. Anyhow, credit to your staff, unprompted, they did not charge for for the course. Cheers Peter
Crafters Hotel is an enjoyable dining experience. There is an extensive list of craft beer available. Whilst my meal of Salt & Pepper Squid was only average, my wife really enjoyed her Barramundi.
Hi, the atmosphere at the Crafers is great, unfortunately the food let it down.
Presentation was great but actual taste wasn't. I had Whiting which was good - the tartare sauce was almost solid, the chips could have been oven fries - tasteless so I left most of them, the pickled salad was limp and tasteless. My wife had the tarte with salted beetroot - actually unpleasant to taste and the tarte was equally flavourless.
Always an enjoyable meal and good service. This last time there was a minor misunderstanding between one order placed and what was delivered. However the waiter owned the error and fixed the problem right away. That's good service. Therefore we all had a good meal and a happy time.
Others rate the wines good quality and a good range and good value. I dont partake but go with their reviews.
We very much enjoyed our time at Crafers Hotel. The waiting staff were attentive and the meals were superb, including the amazing desserts. It was like being at a restaurant. We will definitely be back.
We had a booking for 1.00. We arrived on time.
Ordered our meal at 1.20
We got our meals at 2.45.
No complimentary coffees ,just we are sorry ,we are very busy.
Being a public holiday ,surprise ,surprise we were busy. Poor management.
Very poor particularly after I praised your establishment to my guests when choosing the Crafers!! Extremely disappointed.

We had a very enjoyable lunch, food excellent, selection of wines and staff were great. Noise level was a little irritating though.
Five friends. including a visitor from Canada, enjoyed great service and beautiful delicious food. Steak, chicken, veal, hamburger and fish were all high quality meals. The steak was served with delicious vegetables.
Deserts and coffee were all excellent to finish off a great day at a great hotel.
Well worth the drive from North Haven. 5
5 out of 5 !
Amazing right from arrival. The food was beautiful and tasted even better than it looked. The Service was the best i have had in a very long time. Call out to the Sommelier, if she wasn't then she is phenomenal. I didn't catch her name, but I will be back based on her service.
All good thank you, excellent food and service, pleasant surroundings but a bit noisy
A great restaurant housed in a beautiful building.
Great service and excellent food. Definitely going back again.
The food is great, the staff are very friendly and helpful and the general feeling is that they enjoy their jobs and it is a very harmonious work place. Very pleasurable afternoon Thankyou.
Very good food and friendly staff. Would recommend it to friends
Absolutely excellent. Fantastic service, good vegan options, excellent range of beers and wine. Fantastic.
We said to Matt as we left that we had enjoyed our meals very much, and we enjoyed the Guthrie Pinot Muenier too. We will be back.
Fantastic, only thing to comment on would be that we didn’t get asked enough if we would like more drinks!
We had to ask a waitress for more drinks.
Very worthwhile cuisine. The menu is inviting and I can’t wait to go back. Beer and wine list is good. When you are with 3 or more people the noise level is not intrusive. Serve sizes are healthy. Staff are very friendly and attentive.
At the end of the evening, you feel you have just shared something special with your family and friends.
A consistently great experience.
Celebrating our Wedding Anniversary at the Crafers Hotel on Sunday evening was a delight in many ways. The atmosphere, friendly greetings and decoration are very pleasant indeed. The absolute highlight was the food - the new French chef produced simply wonderful food.
Fabulous food and once we received our pre-dinner drinks everything from there was flawless. Friendly staff, gorgeous location, and did I mention the fabulous food?
Mine and partners meals excellent. Hamburger asked for well done, got medium, other guest seemed to eat all hers. We were served sweets with a fork, Profiteroles and incream, when the coffee came, we used the tea spoons. Might think about that one. Good to see you so busy.........
We enjoyed our squid and chicken.... cheers.
The Crafers Hotel has been done up beautifully! The issue we experienced was the breakfast meals were luke warm. There is nothing like a nice “hot” breakfast.
A regular for us and it was superb as always. Love the staff and the food.
A lovely hotel. Have dined at Crafers for several celebrations and many times for casual dining . Always great food and service. Stayed overnight in a room as well. Excellent accommodation. Highly recommend it.
Very happy with service and food. Manager was very attentive and pleasant gentleman (knows his stuff), everyone loved their food from Prawn Barramundi Curry, Cheese Souffle, Schnitzel, Burger and Salads, we all had a taste of each others. Always difficult to find a place that is quiet enough that we can all talk freely without raising our voices, this was perfect and we were in a very comfortable booth. Will definitely be back. Thank you.
Great staff and service. Really enjoyed ourselves. We'll be back.
Pricey pub food, but a lot more than just your average pub...good food and wine, great service
It was a very busy Sunday lunch but even still, the wait for our meals was more than it should have been. The service in general was very good, but let down by the wait. The food (when it did arrive) was excellent and we all enjoyed our meals. We all thoroughly enjoyed it and look forward to heading up in winter to enjoy the lovely fireplace beside the bar.
Potato fondant was no good. Just tasted like a boiled potato. Presentation of veggies served with chicken was poor. Very expensive considering quality of food
Great food. Had to wait for desert but it was excellent (they didn’t charge for the coffees as a consequence) Great ambience. Will go back again and take interstate and overseas friends there.
Three went for a family reunion. Matt, maitre d', knew me by name and saw us to a table and seated us at once before offering drinks. Soon a waitress appeared to take orders and Matt was on hand to answer a few questions about French cooking terms - well done in a friendly helpful manner. The somelier likewise dealt with the meaning of pinot meuniere. All good. We could hear ourselves talk easily and our food appeared in a very timely manner, nothing hurried, but nothing had to be asked after either - service just happened as it should. Desserts too and we settled and left with a farewell from Matt and the somelier. An extremely pleasant evening.
Not much wine to choose from In The front bar but that being said we didn’t ask if we could access a larger wine list which we probably could have.
We love it here. Brilliant venue, the best steaks and a beautiful setting. Service is always amazing.
Great food at a great pub..would recommendto anyone to give it a try.
We had the most delightful lunch for 8 friends. We were sat in a gorgeous private room at the front of the hotel - it was like being in a glamorous oasis! The food was excellent. Highly recommended
The duck, the cauliflower hummus. I'm craving both, and yet when I return how do I choose something else? My dilemma.... I'm sure you will understand..
Lovely venue however service is very slow but friendly. Food was disappointing on this occasion.
Food was unreal, awesome vibe and seriously great service!!!!
One of our regular local pubs and generally good value with tasty, interesting meals, friendly & efficient staff.
Very high quality meals and impeccable service. We were seated in one of the booths and it was very comfortable. In a group of 6 everyone enjoyed themselves hugely and the banter from the Hostess was brilliant. The pick of the meals was the bouillabaisse. definitely going back to try other dishes.
