We had a fantastic evening here, food was amazing! Best we’ve had so far in Tenby. We also had some live music which was great after all these months of lockdowns. Staff were also great here.
Very efficient service. Would love to come back but unfortunately all dates are fully booked which is great for them. Well done.
Really enjoyed our meals, especially the sharing nachos to start with.
Cocktails were great.
Staff were superb and the service from them was brill.
Great venue. Good food. Had the sharing fruits de mare, but, it could had done with a garlic mayonnaise, or some dipping sauce. But other than that great. Highly recommend it. In the top 3 eateries in Tenby. Staff attentive without being too pushy. And a very good selection on the menu. Diolch yn fawr.
As usual an excellent dining experience with outstanding staff and high quality food.
We had the Sunday lunch platter for two which was hot tasty well cooked and of large portions,A very enjoyable, good value lunch.
Food excellent; a very busy & noisy place for youngsters with security on the door
Booked a table at The Cove and I could not have been happier with my choice.
The venue always clean, staff very polite, helpful and attentive to the needs of the customer. Food was amazing, I had the spicy chicken fajitas. They were superb 👌
To add to the ambiance was live music. The atmosphere was electric, the entertainment superb and I will definitely be returning.
A little gem of a bar in a gem of a place, Tenby.
Would highly recommend 👌👍👏🙌
Staff were all friendly and very accommodating. Food was very disappointing and the venue was very cold
Great venue, food is outstanding if slightly pricey but I guess that’s a sign of the times these days and in-line with other places in Tenby. Service is great and everybody is super friendly. We stayed in Tenby 4 days and went there twice, both occasions excellent.
Nice place, bit disappointing about the items missing from the menu. Great you can book on here as getting a table in Tenby is hard. Great place for drinks.
Fantastic place to eat and drink! Excellent service.
Great seafood and reasonably priced. Service was slow.
A cracking boozer and restaurant and fine dining at good prices!!
Unfortunately we were disappointed with the food and service. The waitress was very friendly, however she brought over an alcoholic beer instead of an alcohol free one after pointing to the right one on the menu. Ciabattas were tasteless and chips were cold. (We had Crab ciabatta and beer battered fish Ciabatta). The table was also dirty. Never leave reviews but feel the restaurant needs to know to improve.
Staff shortage meant 1hr between drinks and first course. Kitchen fuse went, no apologies from staff.
Had the Sunday lunch platter for the first time. Excellent quality and value for money. Have already booked our next table. Also really love the upgrade to the premesis
Food and service was amazing.would return. Would recommend
Food was bland at best and just a mountain of pasta with a few mussels in - described on the menu as just like paella…it had none of the same base ingredients (chicken, chorizo, tomato) and was over flavoured with turmeric. When I asked the waiter what they would recommend, he simply replied he hasn’t tried any of it. Wanted to put us on a tiny table by the kitchen door even though the place was empty. The tables by the bar were empty and much nicer. The bar staff were more preoccupied with planning their own night out with people drinking at the bar. Looked lovely from the outside and front bar but over-hyped and very disappointing on the inside.
Staff were very pleasant but felt it was a very drop and go service. I understand it was a busy night but had to call back for more drinks, cutlery etc.
Our starters were stunning but disappointed with our fillet steaks, was mediocre for the price paid and on receiving the plates it looked very bare (just a steak and chips, not sure if it was meant to have some sort of garnish?).
Service was hot and miss. Seemed to be struggling for staff, served starter without cutlery
Placed on a tiny table next to kitchen. Other parties with less people than us on bigger tables. Drinks order wrong, dirty glasses, took 90 mins for food to arrive, vegetarian options shocking, macaroni cheese or burger, more like a kids choice. Over priced. Very disappointed.
We must have gone on an off day the staff were busy and rushed
Literally couldn’t fault the food in any way . The three of us had the sharing Sunday roast platter with three meat - beef , pork and turkey . Absolutely delicious and the veg was amazing . The only thing that let the place down was the one young girl behind the bar who was pretty rude and abrupt . They also failed to ask us if we wanted more drinks which is a lost opportunity. But food wise I couldn’t find a single fault
Fantastic Sunday lunch .
Good service, nice food and friendly helpful staff
This was a return visit to the Cove, as we have eaten here most times when we have visited the area. We had booked given the recent covid restrictions and it was a good job we had as they were fully booked.
We can recommend the sunday platter for 2 people, which we have had on every visit. A choice of meats (or a bit of all of them), a great selection of vegetables and the creamed leeks are the best!
Big thanks to Michaela for her wonderful hospitality and looking after us so well, she is an asset to The Cove. We will be back.
Steaks were lovely , the atmosphere was really nice as well however, one of meals was lobster and it was cold.
We complained and they took it away. I assume they returned the same one which was now warm but as it’s fish we were a bit wary and we weren’t offered anything as an apology e.g a dessert or money off. Such a shame as it was a nice place
Food was of a great standard. Friendly, quick and helpful service.
Very good service and excellent value for money.
We had the seafood sharer again as it’s amazing and we will be eating there the next time we’re in Tenby.
Food was excellent. Sooo tasty.
Ordering was a bit slow. Waited a while for our wine and then again for the food. Was worth the wait though.
Definitely will be returning.
Thoroughly enjoyed and we will return. Waitress and waiter very helpful
Fantastic food . Only negative was they served the seafood platter which was ordered as a starter for 2 with our Main meals. Our mains ended up being cold and we had to rush our food
Great Service, Great Food, lovely atmosphere, we will be back
Along with my friends, we had a lovely meal, Mine was the Salmon which was delicious. The service was very good
Great staff and service. Very friendly. Glad to be back in work which is great. The scallops were delicious and the lobster was excellent as was my girlfriends tortellini.
Felt Covid safe from the time we entered the waitress was very polite and helpful the food was well presented and tasted delicious will definitely be going back fab experience.
Welcome and Service was great , very friendly, Food was ok , Lamb was warm at best not hot, tacos were not as spiced enough , quite bland.
My main problem was with the very relaxed apparent Covid rules where if you were local and knew the staff it was ok to come in or once in wander around with no masks on site . The rules are there for a reason and it was quite a shock to see. 3 women came in at the door waved to the bar not a mask between them , also a couple already sat down twice went outside for a smoke again no masks.
Not good enough sorry
Shame as it’s a nice place but I didn’t feel safe
The staff were outstanding. The food was excellent
Thoroughly enjoyed our Sunday lunch with my husband. Not somewhere I would take the children. Will definitely book cocktails and food when lockdown is over. Loved the atmosphere and decor!
Brilliant once again. Always enjoy our food and service is great
