Great venue & seating. Most of the staff very friendly and helpful. Great chicken wings.
However:
The music is far too loud for enjoyable conversation. After 9, crank it up, before then, keep it understated.
The bar was dirty and sticky which is a turn off. Especially in Covid times.
No one picked up our glasses, which meant we eneded up with quite a collection as we were a large party.
The usual confusion with meals & a few wrong / forgotten meal orders. Please remind your staff to stay cool & not be rude when there is an issue (of your making).
Lots of potential since the reno, just need to get your act together, good service is rewarded - poor service is no longer tolerated as there are plenty of options.

When we arrived they were struggling to keep up with the customers but that died down within 1/2 and hour. It was a little noisy but it was busy. Overall a very good experience and we will be back.

Drinks are overpriced , only one person on the bar took 10-15 minutes to get a drink 🥃

After a few visits I really want to like the Courthouse but due to disappointment of meals ordered I think I'll go elsewhere to dine.
Good for a casual drink but that's probably it and not wine on tap.

A girls' lunch, most enjoyable, I had the nachos and was very yum, good selection of beverages, can recommend the Young Henry's Motorcycle Oil dark beer, service was friendly, with good atmosphere. I like the Open house book in too.

When we arrived there was a lineup of about 30 people standing in the rain...no signs to say if you have a booking proceed straight to the entrance. Bar service was appallinigly slow and when we were finally served it took the very young and inexperienced barman about 5 minutes to find the bottle of red wine we ordered. I was then chargerd 89.32 for a $56.00 bottle of wine. It took a further 15 minutes to arrange the refund of the difference by which time my entree had been delivered to the table and was cold. Despite there being a bottle price on the drinks menu for the white wine we ordered we were informed that they dont sell that wine by the bottle. The food was good but about half way through our meal, someone decided that the background music had to be turned up to full blown disco level. It was impossible to even speak. every busines is asking for contactless payment yet you are penalising the customer for this by adding a surcharge to every transaction. Not a pleasant experience.

Australia Day family and I had lunch we all enjoyed it we wher told it wasn't good so glad we tried it the up grade of the pub looks and feels great well done guys we will be back

Nice food but the fly’s constantly buzzing around while we were eating was annoying and we were eating inside.

Noise level of music went up significantly around 9-9.30pm making it difficult to chat with our small group of three. Most dinners had already left, with a few remaining in the front section...maybe it was to get rid of us to set up for the 11pm crowd?

Good food! However, although we ate inside, we were very much bothered by flies and spent our mealtime fending them off; the waiter told us promptly & cheerfully that this was what should expect in Australia, so I take it that this is the normal attitude for the courthouse bistro. I can't say I've ever met with that attitude in Australia, or anywhere, before.

poor food and beer price to expensive compared to same drink at other venues even in Sydney

All meals were good except for my salmon which was inedible. I couldn’t eat any more salmon after one bite - it had a bad taste and was clearly not fresh. Also the risotto was a bit like mush.

Fantastic! We love the Courthouse hotel ,it’s always a pleasure to go there ,the atmosphere and food, service outstanding.

Beautiful venue, great ambience and great food but need to improve on the customer service aspects; venue felt dirty and staff didn't appear to be in-tune to the customers.

We booked a table for 14 got there on time half tables and chairs were taken bye other people
Then not everyone there as we just got there and had menus pushed in our faces told to hurry up order as we only have one hour to eat drink and leave few of the mums didn’t finish there meals and we where told to leave as our time it now completely up staff was rude very dissatisfied

Have been here a few times since it’s reopened & have been impressed every time. The pork belly & rump are the best you’ll find anywhere. Couldn’t be more accommodating of my celiac partner. Highly recommend.

Great, well priced and efficient happy staff. Noise could be a factor for an intimate meal but overall will absolutely be back.

This was our first time dinning at the court house and we had an outstanding experience. Our waitress went above and beyond unfortunately did not get her name but she was a young blonde lady who's attention to detail was out standing. The food was amazing complements to the chief. It was very busy but you could still move around and there was enough room so no one was breaching the covid plan.

We had a great lunch at the Courthouse. The recent renovations of this pub have resulted in s a great atmosphere. The bistro space is spacious and perfect for families. You don’t feel cramped in the space with nice round tables for groups as well as booths and tables for couples and smaller groups.
Food is fresh and well presented. Great choice. Generous meals and great choices for kids too.
Staff are friendly and helpful.
The only downside the day was that my menu choice was not available and we’d not been told this when welcomed and handed our menus. It meant that when I went to order (orders are taken at a central counter) I was caught off guard and then felt pressured by the maître d to choose something quickly and as though I was holding up the line. This meant I ordered the first familiar thing my eyes fell to - fish and chips - but with more time or a suggestion similar to what I had initially picked I think I would have chosen something different. I just was made to feel awkward by that particular staff member. She just seemed to be very busy and not wanting to be held up by me and my order.
Most other staff however were very friendly and made us feel very welcome.

Everything was perfect except for the young waitress. She was obrupt on more than one occasion. There is a way to speak to people and her approach was not appreciated.

The menu was wide in range and was appropriately priced, staff were friendly and knowledgeable and the barstaff made a delightful Passionfruit Mojito. Will definitely be back!

All aspects of the experience were very pleasant. Courteous and helpful staff, generous and tasty meals at reasonable prices. Would definitely return on our trip to Tamworth again.

Food definitely has not improved! One person in my group asked for well done steak and it came out blue! And the prawn pizza has 5 prawns, was tasteless and the base rock hard. Not enjoyable at all!
