This was our first time at the Conche and we loved the food. We decided to skip the appetizers so I could squeeze in dessert after eating brunch. My spouse had the chicken and waffles that came with butter and syrup. The chicken was boneless and tasted very good. I had the crab cake topped with pieces of asparagus, sauce and one poached egg and a side of fruit. I am glad there was no bread for the crab cake as it was filling enough. For dessert my spouse had the Bloody Mary with chocolate covered bacon. The only complaint here was the glass was a bit small for this drink. I had the Manjari - Madagascar Chocolate Mousse, Vanilla Creme Brûlée, Dark Chocolate Brownie, Salted Caramel Center, with a side of Salted Caramel Ice Cream. We will definitely return again with friends. I did request in my reservation that as a deaf couple we needed to be near good lighting. I would have liked a window seat or better lights.
Good food but slow service.
Fantastic. Second visit.
Good food and service as always !!!
Went here for an anniversary and although nothing was done beyond a normal meal, it was a very good meal with excellent service and a helpful staff. We’ll go back, but probably keep it just to special occasions unless we just drop by for dessert!
This was my first visit to this restaurant. It exceeded my expectations. The food was beautiful. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals. Being a vegetarian, I was very happy to discover a vegetarian section. The risotto with peas and asparagus was scrumptious. The service was excellent and everyone was very pleasant.
The Conch was an absolute dream for our mother's day brunch. The service was excellent and the food was perfect. A great place for a special occasion to treat someone special.
We went for Mother's Day and I really wanted to like the place. I'd been to their D.C. location when it was open for happy hour a couple of times and really liked it. I ordered the fried chicken and waffles and was underwhelmed. The chicken was flavorless and seemed institutional somehow. Waffles were IHOP quality. It took quite a while to get the drink I ordered (I had to remind the server about it) and we were jammed in the front of the restaurant when there were plenty of roomier booths available. The chocolate desserts were delicious so our experience wasn't totally awful. $45 per adult and $25 for our 4 year old (okish buttered pasta) was out of line for the food and experience. I doubt we'll be making the drive out to Leesburg again for this place.
Visited Conche for their special Mother’s Day menu. Phenomenal food, great selections and dessert that is out of this world. My kids love the place too! Service is also superb.
Enjoyed a pre Mother’s Day dinner at the Conche in Leesburg. This a chocolate themed restaurant. I can’t describe the levels of flavor from the heirloom tomato salad, an unbelievable roast chicken to dessert featuring dark chocolate creme brûlée. Hats off to Chef Santosh Tiptor and the fabulous staff for their creativity and elegance.
We were seated right away even though we arrived about 15 minutes early. We got the calamari which wasn't your normal, greasy mess - the coating was delicious as was the seafood. I ordered the Lamb Flatbread and my husband ordered the potato gnocchi. The gnocchi was good - nothing super unique, but the lamb flatbread (!!) was unique, the meat was tender, and the entire plate was bursting with authentic flavor (coming from a couple that is from the Middle East).
We were celebrating Mother’s Day & it was a perfect treat!
Excellent food. Waiter was fantastic. Food was a bit slow out of the kitchen.
When I say this is one of the #bestbrunchever I mean it is the best. The food was beautifully presented, tasted delicious and the customer service from the whole team ran seamlessly. #brunch #foodie #bestcustomerservice #bestpresentation #foodiegram #foodie_features #bestofnova #theconche #leesburgeats #culinaryexperience #topchef @theconche_va
The staff is so friendly and knowledgeable. The food is flavorful and beautiful. Just save room for dessert! The smoked chocolate ice cream is divine!
Fantastic choice for our 27th anniversary. I was looking for something a little "different" and the chocolate-inspired theme was perfect. Drinks were fantastic, food was to die for and dessert was an extravaganza. Superb service as well! I'll be back!
Great as always!
The Sunday brunches are to die for! I especially love the waffles! the waffles!
Helped The Conche celebrate their one year anniversary and it was wonderful as always. Enjoyed complimentary glass of sparkling wine to toast occasion and a little bite from the chef. The food and drinks are always amazing. Tried a new chocolate cocktail which I loved. Can't wait to see what the next year brings for this incredible restaurant. Cheers!
La Concha was a jewel found by chance. We traveled from Morgantown and looked for eclectic menus near our hotel. La Concha looked good as a website - and was excellent in person! Nice selection of interesting dishes, excellent wine list (and advice and tastes!), and the ambiance was excellent.
We took a chance and went there for our anniversary and the place didn’t disssapoint. Beautiful ambience very tastefully done. The glass enclosed chocolate making area was very interesting and engrossing for a choco lover like hubby & me. The food and drink was amazing. A little pricey but the food was so unique and flavorful, with twist of chocolate that we are sure to go back many more times.
I made a 6:30 reservation but we could not be seated at a table because our entire party was not there. they were informed that our friend was running late. After an hour we were finally seated.
My husband and I came here for his birthday. My favorite restaurant was Coco Sala which closed In February. I was elated to find a restaurant with the same theme. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. I have a high standard when it comes to dessert (CoCo Sala is the standard) and this was my least favorite part of the experience. At any rate I will come back.
What a great dining experience! So good to know that there is creative cuisine outside of NYC and in my own backyard! Yum!
Had a very nice evening at The Conche! It was crowded on Saturday night so service was a little off but food was excellent as always. Started with cocktails and the pear and walnut salad then had salmon special and steak. Love the Salmon entree and hope it makes it to their dinner menu. One of best around and definitely deserves star billing. Finished with their Moussetache for dessert. Wonderful combo of after dinner drink and chocolate mousse.
Lovely dinner with exceptional service by our server Rich. The tableside presentations were a hit.
If I could give more than 5 stars i would - it was AMAZING!! Everything from the moment we were greeted at our arrival was top notch. Be sure to save room for dessert - it was worth every bite - I had the dark chocolate hot chocolate and a sea salt caramel that was beautiful and delicious! The soot and rye cocktail had my husband wanting more and the presentation was just as exciting as the drink! Recommend the short ribs, NY steak and the sea scallops- the flavors in all were individual unique and delish!!!
Have gone several times and it’s always fantastic. This visit was for our anniversary. Everything was great until several mothers with small, loud children showed up and destroyed the ambiance. It seems they thought because it is a chocolate-themed restaurant, it must be like Willie Wonka’s Chocolate Factory, geared to cater to children. This is not the case. It is an elegant, swanky, high-end establishment. Leave your younger children at home, please.
Great food! Great dessert (The Conche Entremet)! Great service!
I have eaten here several times. The food is always delicious, the cocktails are great. The wine list is good - it would be nice if they had more selections of bottles of wine on their menu. You are able to bring in your own bottle for a $25 corkage fee. The desserts are phenomenal! Definitely recommend
Food and service were great! The place is really nice.
We were a group of six, celebrating a wedding anniversary. We had a very comfortable booth. All of the food was outstanding. For appetizers, we had fried calamari, parmesan French fries, and macaroni and cheese. For entrees, two of us had scallops, one had the Poke appetizer as an entree, one had the NY strip, one had the roasted chicken and I had the hamburger sliders. The portions were all appropriately sized and the presentation was lovely. Our waiter was very good. I can't come up with one complaint. I would, without hesitation, recommend this to anyone looking for a unique and comfortable dining experience.
Went for an anniversary. We had the salmon special and the cocoa rub NY strip steak. Everything was delicious.
Excellent food. Nice atmosphere.
It did feel like the waiter was always in a hurry. Quick to get our order, to provide our food, and rush off to the next table. Nice person, but you felt they had very little time to speak with you and serve you.
Second time we’ve eaten here in two weeks. This place is a real gym. Great service nice and quiet, and some terrific food with an excellent staff
Every bite and sip was delicious! Service was impeccable. Our favorite for any occasion.
Wow! What a great hidden treasure. We go out 2 to 3 times a week and that place by far is our number one place now! The food was perfect, and the service all the way from the hostess to the manager to the waiter were perfect! Food was so good we actually ordered dessert for the first time in over year! Almost hate to highly recommend this For maybe this place will be just too busy. But for now we had a reservation and was sad on time and was a very quiet nice place
