Great brunch, service was a little slow but it was Sunday & very busy.
This certainly was not what I expected. The space was cold, uncomfortable and loud (even though the restaurant was less than 1/2 full). Both of our entrees were very salty, and were not served hot. The overall meal was definitely not worth $150.
Casual environment with excellent food. Took teenage kids and everyone very pleased with dinner and dessert. Milkshakes got two thumbs up from kids. We eat at Purple with kids too, but Commons more casual with same quality food. Highly recommend!
Crab dip did not taste very crabby for the price, and would have been better with bread than potato chips. Fish and chips were very good. Salad was good but pricey. Banana Bread pudding tasted good but was just two slices of banana bread--not what you would expect for "pudding." Service was very slow, which was surprising because it was not very busy.
We waited for 25 minutes for anyone to come to our table for service to no avail and then left.
The good news is that our 3 year old threw a tantrum on the way out because he was hungry.
Have always loved the Commons but will not be planning to go back.
Service mediocre at best. Food prepared not to order. Overall highly overrated
Kids dinner was dry and over cooked, my food was okay but over priced for the amount received. Experience was nice but wouldn’t go back.
Great atmosphere, servers were polite and timely, and the food was very good! Tables were a little small but nothing to really complain about. Will be back!
Worst steak ever so chewy. Service ok. Service 20% included.
We really liked the food we ordered and the service we got. Everything was good.
The fried pickles were so salty they were inedible. The manager graciously accepted our feedback and the item was removed from our bill.
Always a favorite for consistently good food and service. If I only have one complaint is that the restaurant is exceptionally loud. There is "adds to the energy and vibe" kind of loud and then there is "can't hold a conversation" loud. They should invest in some sound deadening. Still, I won't remove a star for it. I love this place and the staff is always as great as the food.
Tables are so close together , so loud you can't hear yourself think, gratuity added to bill and food was not worth the price. I could make better at home.
We had a reservation for six people at 7:30 on a Saturday night, but we weren’t seated until almost 8:00, which was frustrating. The actual table service and food were excellent and our appetizers were comped, which was very much appreciated. I understand things happen, but what is the point of a reservation if you have to wait that long?
Great service and food. We enjoyed our dinner date out and can’t wait to come back
Love going to the Commons. It's my new spot. Every experience has been great.
Good was way too expensive and wasn’t even good. $10 for an order of French toast on kids menu. Bill came also with 20% gratuity already included and there was only 3 of us . Service was good and we would have tipped that much anyway as we don’thold the wait staff responsible for bad food, but what if service was horrible? Just visiting my daughter, but when I visit again, will not go there.
Love this place. My favorite is the brunch time.
Our server was amazing and he didn't rush us out. It was our first time and we had a great experience.
Loved the food & mimosa!
The food was fine. Drinks were great. The cleanliness of the restaurant was not great. I’ve never seen that much dust accumulate on a ceiling ever before. Makes me wonder about the cleanliness of the rest of everything.
Very quick food!
I’ve been here many times and am always excited to go back. Great food, wide variety of drinks, and fantastic service. It’s almost always busy, so make a reservation! It can be a little noisy, but it’s just because it’s almost always packed.
Love going to the Commons with family and friends. I can always count on great food and awesome Almomd milk Chai’s. Thank you!!!
We really appreciate that the Commons serves wholesome bread with its breakfast plates with what appears to be healthy, homemade hot sauce and raspberry jam. My easy-over eggs were cooked to perfection and I noted that the potatoes were red-skinned potatoes that were oven-fried, I believe.
Thank you for not skimping on the quality of your ingredients.
We absolutely love dining at The Commons. The food and service are always on point!
Love The Commons, especially for brunch. Mike was our server and talk about incredible service - the best! Made eating out with a toddler very enjoyable.
Favorite neighborhood spot.
The food is always delicious at the commons! Some of my favorite brunch in the greater Seattle area!
The food and service are always good, but it is pricey for what it is, especially for kids.
Great location and food is very good. Limited menu but just enough choices to satisfy all. Love the mimosas
The service was good although I am unaccustomed to having an automatic 20% tip applied for a party of four: my wife and I plus our two kids. Wine selection on menu was just ok but ability to buy a bottle from the check in area and play corkage is great. Food was good but was disappointed by my main entree having only 3 small scallops.
Overall a great place to meet for a casual meal. Staff was a bit slow, even though the place wasn't crowded. He didn't ask us if we wanted dessert; just gave us the bill. Once prompted, he was accommodating to us. The food was really good and the servings plentiful.
The food, service and location are perfect. The food is always fresh and interesting. I had an Avocado Frissee sandwich and tomato soup. YUM And my friend shared his fries too...double yum!
The Commons is my favorite place to meet in Woodinville.
What a fantastic place - very casual and comfortable! Food was good, service was efficient and friendly. We'll be back!
Always a good experience. Both food and service are solid. We enjoy popping in for a meal or sitting at the bar for drinks. Everyone at the table enjoyed their meal.
I didn’t let this affect my rating because I love this place but it would be nice if the server pointed out the auto added service, grat so guests don’t pay an additional amount without realizing it.
The fried dill pickles were way too salty and the crispy chicken was soggy.
Expensive for no reason
