Great place! Feel like you’ve travelled out of Melbourne
Food was great
The overall look of the gardens is beautiful however everything else is lacking. The service model is confusing..the written menu doesn't have everything on it, QR ordering is preferred but the wait staff can choose to take your order or part of it, the food menu is very limited. Food and drink arrived promptly...food had hits and misses, prawn roll amazing, arancini and butter milk chicken bland, ham toastie good. All expensive and lacking finesse. Overall a real disappointment. We went for a birthday lunch and I was embarrassed to have chosen this venue.
Amazing service, wonderful space, beautiful cocktails
Brilliant very memorable evening in a unique beautiful setting. Service outstanding.
Myself and three friends went to the Commons for a birthday lunch. We had impeccable service, including a mid lunch shifting of the tables + umbrellas as we were in the sun. Food was delicious and the ambience was fantastic! Would recommend
Loved everything about this place.
Lovely place, very efficient and friendly staff!
Food and drinks were great, I loved the Limoncello spritz! And a nice touch was when our waiter offered us a blanket when the night got a little cooler. Lots of staff around too so you never had to wait too long for attention. Overall I had a great time
A delightful place to eat. Great food and excellent service. Will definitely return!
The staff made my sons birthday dinner so fun! He loved it when they all came out. Thankyou.
Beautiful setting, great service, limited menu but great rosemary and salt chips. Food good, great drinks.
Worth a visit.
Loved the garden & flower and a quality service.
Just the food quantity is small but the quality is great!
Can't wait to visit there again.
Can't recommend this restaurant more highly. I have been there several times and the service and the food have been outstanding!
Easy to order, great selection and service, lovely ambiance for summer evenings. Fun and vibrant place to catch up with friends.
Gorgeous venue, especially on a warm summers day. Cocktails and food were fabulous too. Recommended
So relaxing and the surrounds are beautiful ... would highly recommend a visit 🍹
Fantastic experience at the Commons! The garden is so attractive and I take many photos to share with my friends. The food and coffee are also good. I will invite my friends to go recently.
Surprisingly Limited food menu, ungenerous potion of salmon, and my salad needed tasty dressing.
Garden setting is beautiful and attentive staff who made us very comfortable . Excellent drinks menu.
Ambience and service was very good, burger and prawn roll were good but charcuterie board was disappointing in comparison to last time we were at the commons, fish and chips whilst well cooked the fish was over salted in the kitchen, for desert the stone fruit with berries was disappointing, the stone fruit (peach) was like eating a crunchy apple - berries were good. Sundae’s were also good. Overall we enjoyed our visit.
2nd time visiting your gorgeous restaurant for my birthday and my friends and I loved it. Thank you x
Great service and beautiful ambiance, I would love to come back here again
Menu needs to be improved for dinner service. Still using the QR code and not giving much table service while still charging 2% on your credit card each time you order food or beverage is very poor.
Many other restaurants are offering table service again.
Been twice now and first time was definitely better for a lunch.
Excellent venue with great ambience!
The food was almost inedible. Over cooked, heavily salted and generally really substandard. Embarrassing really.
Loved the beautiful outdoor dining experience
We had a fabulous day! I took my friend from nursing home in wheelchair , no problem at all .
Staff all great especially Arron !
He looked after us and was so kind to my friend who had his first outing in. Over a year .
We sat in that beautiful garden and had the most lovely lunch ,the food was great as was the ambiance.
It will be our go to place in future and we can’t wait .
Cannot fault anything, from the food to the service. Will be going back.
We had decided that we would take our grandson, who is 15 months old, along to have something to eat. We had made a booking for 3pm but, at that stage, he had only been in his cot for a short time for his afternoon sleep. When we contacted the restaurant, they were so very helpful and changed the time for us with no problem at all. It was a very hot day. We sat in the conservatory and had a lovely time. We ordered things that our grandson would also like to eat and it was all just right. Without our asking, the waiter brought a high-chair over for us to use. Next time, we will probably come back with friends because we enjoyed it so much.
And delicious food would definitely recommend to friends and come back here myself
Absolutely beautiful gardens and space, stunning spot. Food on the more expensive side for what it was - four small arancini balls for $18! Still tasty and very enjoyable. Dog friendly with lots of outdoor space, really hot in the sun but staff were doing everything to make it cooler with umbrellas and offering other options.
Lovely venue. Great atmosphere. Food is well presented and tasted good.
Fantastic place on a warm day. Beautiful setting. Needs music or band. Otherwise would give 5
Beautiful ambiance, excellent service, welcoming hosts, relaxing. I’ll be back very soon
Beautiful lunch on a beautiful day in a beautiful setting. Only observation we all made - due to the heat of the sun and the need to keep moving the sun umbrellas, the staff will injure their backs if they continue to pick up and move these heavy umbrella bases.
The venue styling is brilliant. Great place to catch up with friends on a sunny day
Great ambience in a casual and relaxed garden setting with attentive waitstaff and tasty food made for a lovely shared evening for a friend's birthday!
Fine for snack food in pleasant surroundings, but not for lunch. The menu description didn’t match what was served. Packets of S&P, soiled B&B plate doesn’t bode well for return visit.
Very small and disappointing food menu in comparison to the very large drinks menu. The outside should be decked as we had a large puddle under our feet at the outside table, water on the asphalt unable to drain away after rain or watering the plants.
Lovely ambience and helpful staff.
Just the most beautiful place to sit with friends and have a bite to eat and delicious cocktail. Absolutely stunning!
A few healthier options would be great on the menu
