Great food
Lovely food poor slow service
Wonderful food ambience and service, we had a very nice evening and all enjoyed the whole event. Many thanks Jonathan H . Oracle ACS
The food and ambiance at the Cinnamon Club were lovely. You would not expect it but it is quite loud. It would be nice if they could figure out more ways to dampen the sound. Service was a bit slow. I am all about relaxing and taking your time through your meal especially when the food is an experience but you should never have to wait for water or ask for more still or sparkling or drinks for that matter at this level of restaurant.
Lovely bit a very cold restaurant!
Good food, excellent service. The staff were welcoming, friendly and made the evening special for us.
Vegetarian options are slim. Guest sitting at the table next to me spilled my entire glass of red wine on me while sliding into her seat and the staff did not help clean the mess and charged me for the glass on the bill.
We had various servers through the evening. I don't think that any of them introduced themselves.
Initially (once we had the receptionists interest) we were shown to our table where we were left for over 20 minutes before the first waiter arrived.
We were quite disgusted with the service, although at no point were we really given the opportunity to say so.
We were also squashed in to a row of tables, the next table was around 8" away from us which means that you really join in with everyone else's conversation.
The table next to us in the corner clearly had a couple that you were interested in. They kept getting various waiters and managers speaking to them. This mostly meant that the waiters backside was almost sitting on my table.
The food was OK, but nothing better than what you will find in a standard currey house in most towns across the UK.
Beautiful setting complemented by beautiful food and good service. Presentation was superb and all our dishes were very well conceived and delivered great taste.
Excellent food, as always. However, we arrived in time for and expecting the late evening set menu, but this was not offered to us without asking, we were just offered the a la carte or set Christmas fayre.
Food was good but unfortunately a little on the cold side. Think there may have been a issue with the dumb waiter on thIs particular evening as I hadn’t noticed food being carried up the stairs on previous visits. However lovely restaurant and great decor.
It all needed to go very fast, after an hour we were done with our cocktail, starter and main course. I do not go to this type of restaurant, and spend that much money if I cannot enjoy the evening.
Up market Indian restaurant in a great location for Victoria and Westminster business.
Excellent food, with a lot of variety and reasonably priced for what you get. The setting is fantastic, but it’s a bit noisy. Service was slow and required patience. Only downside really.
I absolutely loved this place! The staff were great giving us recommendations and helped on picking the right wine to go with our food. The food was insane and delicious! The atmosphere and the place was stunning. They really made my best friends birthday one to remember. Can’t recommend this place enough!
The Cinnamon Club was recommended to me so I thought while down london I'll give it ago. My hubby and I chose to try the taster menu, £95 per person, yes some might think expensive but it was delicious, it was explained to us on what we were having and the venison was to die for. Outstanding, lovely place and will definitely come back, by the way, it's not the average curry house.
Nice food but all felt very chaotic getting in and out of the dining area and the bar felt incongruous with the historic setting of the restaurant. So many staff but everyone getting in everyone’s way.
Great food, was there for a business lunch and the service was shocking! I had to keep telling the waiters to take our orders, not attentive at all.
The food was absolutely delicious but I was disappointed by how long it was between us being seated and being served anything more than water. I think we waited more than an hour to order food. And whilst it did come quickly once ordered, it was a shame to sit so long without any food or wine - particularly as we were there for a celebration.
Just a shame we were the only patrons that night but it was very enjoyable in spite of this. The food is superv and excellent value for money.
As ever, The Cinnamon Club did not disappoint. We went for a late lunch and tried the Tasting Menu. Quite expensive at £95 however it was well worth it and so we were happy with paying the price for a special occasion. In all around 7 courses. All were presented fabulously and tasted delicious, the spices enhancing the flavour of the food. We will certainly be back!
Everything about the Cinnamon Club was wonderful
Excellent Indian food in a beautiful environment. Enjoyed the amazing combination of spice and food. Highly recommend it if you only have a short time in London or want to enjoy a tasteful meal.
An excellent restaurant, tucked very close to Big Ben, serving delicious food in a historic setting
Food: We went for the Late Dinner Menu (£38 per head), which comprised starter, main, dessert and a cinnamon bellini - excellent value, really good portions, and an explosion of delicate flavours.
Ambience: Quite hectic, and the only reason I gave a 3 star was because it was quite dark where we sat, and the open hall made the noise travel quite a lot - also the tables are quite wide meaning your partner feels far away.
Service; Very attentive waiter and head waiter, who was really polite and informative.
Value: Excellent value, as we had the set menu, added some extra bread, plus 2 cocktails from the bar, and the bill came to just over £50 per head!
Definitely recommend this place, and will be going back for sure!!
Very different, and very good. We plan to use at least one of the vouchers in January. Some things we thought could be better. The service was pretty slow. We both had breast of chicken. Excellent dish but not enough sauce left at the end to finish the rice and bread. More sauce on the plate please, or a small jug. Great breads but. They were shown in the side dishes section of the menu, but arrived with the first course. We didn't send them back but were surprised, and on the bill they appeared as bread starter. A starter course they were not. Can you put a name and/or number outside? if they are there it was too dark to see either and we walked straight past the restaurant. I have already recommended The Cinnamon Club already.
Good food marred by lamentable service. Too many diners on a Saturday night for the number of staff. We waited nearly 30 mins for one course of our tasting menu - clearly it had been forgotten as the pineapple granita had melted to a watery puddle by the time it reached us. Tasting menu is expensive and sadly the good quality, tasty dishes were spoiled by the long waits and "frosty" service.
Great place to eat for a special occasion... Food was great
Our meal was spoilt by the rude waiter who also got our order wrong! We ordered the vegetarian tasting menu but where given the meat one and when we pointed this out he didn’t even apologise.
Left feeling underwhelmed for the price, and did not like the upstairs table.
What an amazing evening my wife and I had. The food as always was exquisite and the ambiance superb, lots of diners enjoying a varied and delicious menu. I opted for the Partridge as a starter and then the Monkfish for main with a variety of breads as a side.
It was nice to see Vivek Singh going around talking to dinners. You don't see that much these days in other restaurants.
We will be back as there are so many other Thai gs on the menu we want to try.
This is a tough one. And it's really a 3½ star review. The food is really good. The service is kind, but confused - different waiters ask the same questions - but they mean well. The price level is fine, but we got the smallest portion of rice that we had ever seen - only to be charged ekstra for more. It's annoying - charge a little more and be done with it. The main dining room is really nice - and again - the food really is good.
Great food!
Lovely room but service and front of house a bit patchy on a busy Friday evening. The food was good but had evidently been sitting under the warming lamps for a while, waiting to be served. Overall a nice evening, but not quite worth the expense.
Was a lovely experience. Drink lounge was comfortable and felt exclusive. The food was all that was claimed. We had the shrimp crusted fish and lamb - wonderful. The deserts topped the evening off. Will go again. Staff were friendly and helpful yet not intrusive.
AMAZING RESTAURANT. The food and ambiance were outstanding.
I ate the vegan menu and it was spectacular. Loved it
Excellent food and very attentive and knowledgeable staff. The sommelier’s wine suggestion was spot on and really complimented the food perfectly. All round, a wonderful experience.
tasting menu at £95.00 was not value for money. Lamb and venison main course were very disappointing. Waiter needed to read the menu to explain what the dishes were; we were asked if we wanted drinks on a couple of occasions when we had already ordered.
Delicious Indian fine dining!
Delightful experience again. Wonderful service, superb food with excellent presentation in a unique setting. Well worth going back as the menu is extensive
