Amazing food and unparalleled service. Just felt a little stuffy. Not much atmosphere and you could have heard a pin drop.

Table booked for 1930 and we were finished by 2045 - felt very rushed with no time between courses. Not what I would expect for a restaurant at this level. We had the chicken sharing dish which consisted of 8 very small chicken legs on the bone and no breast meat - very tricky to eat.

I’d heard really good things about the Cinnamon Club so was really looking forward to dining there. Although there was nothing wrong with the food it just didn’t have the WOW factor I was expecting (plus I found a stone in my main course.. which in fairness was dealt with by the manager who was very apologetic). Given the price I have had much better Indian inspired food in other restaurants. I am glad I went, the surroundings are fantastic and the service was great but not sure I’ll be heading back there anytime soon..

It took 30 minutes for a waiter to take the order which came out incomplete: no chutney despite the order and cold water despite a request to have room temperature bottle.
Food was just above cold and naans were served long time into the main course.
The white Croatian wine was delicious though!
The manager apologised and made a true commercial gesture but overall the experience was disappointing

The food was delicious and presented beautifully. Our arrival was awkward as the hostess seemed to be distracted and was unable to locate the reservation for several minutes. The first waiter appeared to be unsure of the menu and was replaced by another which resulted in a changed order. Wine was ordered and not delivered until after the amuse-bouche, but before napkins were brought to the table. Through the meal I found myself having to consistently ask for our empty wine glasses to be filled from the ordered bottle which was stored beyond reach of the table. The main floor was packed with tables leaving no easy way to traverse the route to the washrooms or exit without a ballet dance of twists and turns. The wait for both starters and mains was maddeningly long with empty wine glasses, so we opted out of coffee and sweets. The coup de grace for our potential return was the same distracted hostess being unable to locate our coats and umbrellas from coat check. All in all the food lived up to the reputation and staff were quite pleasant and friendly, but the experience was disappointing.

From start to finish the food was amazing. Loved the mince lamb starter and the old style Delhi sharing platter.

Dessert was amazing. Stick toffee pudding was out of this world. Very reasonably priced considering the standard was quite rightly so Michelin star.

Will definitely be returning. If you have never been before it’s a must try. Taking something as simple as a Friday night curry to whole new level

There is nothing not to like and enjoy here. We were warmly welcomed and looked after the whole evening. The food was incredible and everything we had was 10/10. The building and dining room is beautiful and although it may look a bit like a gentleman’s club (which it was!) from outside, the atmosphere is very relaxed and warm and the staff have an ability to make you feel you are the only diners in the place. They made an effort to give my wife a birthday card & a desert with a candle in it which was a nice touch. Overall a great evening and we would happily recommend and go back!

The “Lucious lunch” offer was very good. For such a famously expensive restaurant a complete bargain. I have eaten a la Carter here before and the food, though limited in choice is well up to the standard of the full menu. Service was courteous and prompt, until the dessert course; we were the last in the restaurant and feared we may have been forgotten!

The lunch offer can optionally include half a bottle of very decent wine, since the cheapest bottle on the wine list is an eye watering £61, is also very good value

Highly recommended.

I’m great fan of Cinnamon club approach to Indian cuisine but on this occasion, I was very disappointed and mostly with service. We had a tasting menu with matched wine, food was ok but not the best we had there and on occasion it was served warm at a tepid room temperature. All in all, I had better food in Cinnamon Soho their sister restaurant.

Sommelier was pleasant, knowledgable and the wine was very well matched to food. The waiting staff were all over the place, sloppy and lacked polite, trained manner of interacting with customers. The price tag we were paying for the food experience and the poor service we were receiving were disproportionate. Also the ambience was ok, albeit too brightly lit.

All in all, an expensive meal, that left me somewhat disappointed.

We thought the food was superb and thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience with you. The thing that was disappointing was that we tried to get a drink in the bar after our meal but it was so busy that we could not get served (we waited about 15 minutes and there were still two people ahead of us in the queue). Staff were very attentive although a bit slow as we only had our table for 2 hours.

Food very good. Would certainly recommend. We had to send one starter back to the kitchen as there was some paper (which we think had been wrapped on a vegatable) mixed in with it but the staff were excellent and reacted to the problem quickly

The food was exceptional we enjoyed everything we ordered. The server however did a masterful job of upselling us on things without our knowledge. £8 for naan? Ok, I guess since it was delicious but pretty ridiculously priced. Overall the bill didn’t overshadow how wonderful our food was.

Very welcoming greeter, well-made cocktails in the bar on the ground floor to the left. Our timing for our reservation was a little off, but the hostess rearranged things smoothly. The sommelier was helpful, and all of the waitstaff were all professional and pleasant. Finally, the food was delicious. One of our best meals ever.

My wife and I had the tasting menu which was superb, small portions of excellence in particular the venison main course with a black stone flower reduction. What let the restaurant down was the service, it was poor, very poor. The staff lacked direction as they were overran with the amount of diners in attendance - too many for them to cope with. Cutlery was put down, removed and then put back, we had to ask 3 times for our water jug to be returned after it being filled. My very good Albarino white wine that I asked for had to be asked for again, as did the good bottle of Fitou that I ordered at the same time, lack of communication throughout. We were in no rush, thankfully, we arrived at 7pm and left at 11.15pm. Fantastic meal, superb location but the service needs to improve.

It was an ok experience. We were really excited to visit but underwhelmed in reality. If you’re going, make sure you request to sit in the main room (which is one of it’s selling points) not the upstairs or side rooms. These are disappointing in comparison. The food was a little bland but what was top notch was the service. They were busy, but they were very attentive and apologetic when keeping us waiting. Huge thank you to the staff.

Just doesn’t cut it. “Team wait staff”, so no one in particular connects or cares for you. No advice on menu given or on ordering, VERY noisy, awful bar area (it’s like a holding cell in basement), quality of food just not impressive. Very average overall. They also tanked on the special occasion, but that least of concerns. I’d skip here...

The restaurants ambience as well as the food was excellent and definitely worth the ££.
However the service was very very poor. We had someone take the drinks order after 40 mins of sitting down and food order was taken after another 30 mins. By the time we got out food it was 2 hours into sitting down at the table.

We asked for our orders to be taken but kept on being ignored for over an hour. Would definitely recommend having more staffs around to take orders as it seemed it was only one person taking food orders. He was also unpleasant to deal with as he made sarcastic comments...

Other than that, would recommend this place to friends on the basis that they need to wait over 2 hours to order and get their food :)

This was my first meal at the restaurant. I was not sure what to expect as one has a rather traditional view of Indian cuisine. However, it was truly excellent. Something very different, with a lovely ambience. The starters were wonderful. The mango beer was a lovely twist for a drink. Highly recommended.

W went on a Monday evening and were surprised that the restaurant was so busy, particularly as the weather was dreadful. However, we received a lovely warm welcome from the staff in reception and were served throughout our meal by wonderful, attentive staff. We had the tasting menu and can honestly say that every single thing we had was beautifully presented and tasted fabulous. We were celebrating my birthday and at the end of the meal I was presented with a lovely cake and card from the staff. I cannot praise this restaurant highly enough and have no hesitation in recommending it to others.

The place/location is amazing and I had high expectations of this place. We had the tasting menu but I might be extremely spoiled but already at dish one I was not swept of my feet at all. The Sommelier on the other hand had extremely clue and the pairing was amazing and good. It took 15 min before they came to the table (we were not even asked for an aperitif) to collect our food order. During the service the cutlery was thrown on the table not with precision. Yet twice 'our' food ended on the neighbour table to find out first it was our food it was already cold. The 2nd time we both noticed and was directed our way correctly but still....
