Very disappointed, booked for my husband’s birthday, no welcome at reception, very poor service, had to ask several times for our wine and to get a napkin. The food however was delicious, we had the tasting menu. Overall I expected Better for a Michelin star restaurant!

Interesting cuisine with some very unique flavours, different than what we get in the United States. Service was excellent. Wine pricing bordered on obscene but plenty of choices from all over the world.

We waited 40 minutes for our table and then had to wait another 30 minutes for our food. We were then placed in the side room (away from the main room) which obviously is very quiet and not as nice. Food was nothing special

Overall a very good experience - wonderful venue, some really interesting flavours. We ate at peak Saturday evening time, but service was a bit slow at the stage of drinks and ordering, but was good thereafter. We liked the range across meat, fish and veggie choices, and the interesting pairings. The autumn special menu was a mini- tasting menu and was good fun.

If you are looking for an authentic indian dining experience do not go here. This restaraunt perfectly caters for the white stiff upper lip demographic that it seems to draw in. Those who frankly have no concept of what good indian food is and simply pay for location and pretentiousness. We ordered the paneer kofta for two, which simply tasted of dry besan. The butter chicken had 3 boney legs of chicken with about a tablespoon of meat combined, served in a tepid sauce. The bombay style vegetable had one vadda pav bread and a basic stew of vegetables dosed in chillies. will not be returning.

Lovely food as always. We went for an early lunch (12.30pm) and it was dead so atmosphere was a bit lacking on this occasion.

We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. My husband had the pheasant and I had the chicken tiki masala. Both pages were excellent! Highly recommend!

We had difficulty finding the restaurant. It needs to have a sign at the door. The staff were lovely, but the service was a bit erratic. The general ambience was very good, and the food was delicious.

Service was very slow but the food was excellent. The waiter did apologise for the service and didn't charge my partner for her desert as a good will gesture. Over all we had a lovely experience would definitely recommend to go and we'll definitely be going back again.

Lovely venue for lunch. The building is very interesting and nicely kept. The food was very good. Really interesting options that tasted great with perfect sized portions for lunch. We went for the set lunch menu which included a carafe of wine chosen by the sommelier which was a lovely idea and a lovely choice of wine!

The venue was very good, we were greeted as we arrived and taken to our table. The tables are positioned apart so that individual conversations are not overheard.

The food was presented fabulously and tasted amazing. Really interesting flavours and beautiful ingredients.

I mentioned in my booking one guest had a dairy allergy. I had to ask for the allergen menu.
Omg. What a disaster. I was given a book which contained pages which were impossible to read.
The pages had been printed on A3 paper and put in the book flat which meant page one at the front of the book but the corresponding page was at the back. RIDICULOUS I couldn’t read it properly.
It appeared that the list didn’t correspond to the normal menu that we had been given.

The staff were helpful. However I do like to check.

It was a lovely Sunday evening at The Cinnamon Club. my good friend and I enjoyed our time so much- we were there nearly 5 hours! The food was great and they were incredibly nice. They brought us a lamb tandoori instead of the chicken that we had ordered and let us keep both! The venison was very nice as well.

Lovely atmosphere and great food!

I visited the Cinnamon Club for the first time and decided to go to celebrate Diwali. Being an Indian restaurant I was disappointed by the lack of Diwali decorations apart from the special menu. My partner and I ordered the Diwali menu and could not fault the starters which was perfect 10 out of 10. However, the mains was disappointing - it was bland and not authentic. There was a lack of spice and taste. The naan was not cooked fresh. Also we had to wait 20 minutes for the starters which was not good service.

The best octopus starter I've ever eaten. All the food was spiced just right. Brilliant wine recommendations. Lovely woodpanelled library vibe.

The food was really delicious, would definitely come again for the food; however the service was pretty terrible! We weren't spoken to for over half an hour after we arrived, service was slow throughout and generally seemed completely disorganised. Each individual waitress who served us was lovely, friendly and professional (and very apologetic when we flagged the issues) - the problem seems to be in the management of the dining room and insufficient staff levels. Real shame as it is a lovely venue with great food.

Unfortunately this restaurant did not live up to its reputation and I was severely disappointed with the service and quality of the food. This appears to be a common theme with many of the recent reviews of the restaurant on different sites.

First the waiting staff were not aware of their advertised “London Restaurant Festival” Tasing Menu and told us that it did not exist. Only after contacting a different server did we receive the menu.

It then took 30 minutes for our orders to be taken and the tables on either side of us had similar issues. The wait staff were too busy to take orders and it was clear that they were understaffed and potentially new. This was extremely bizarre for such an established restaurant. It was also odd that when we tried to order we were told that only the manager could take orders. Only after requesting a few times did our server take our orders.

The food was passable but definitely not worth the price tag. It was also not helped by the fact that 2/3 of the dishes were cold and had clearly been sitting around before being served. This was most likely due to the fact that there were too few waiting staff for the restaurant.

A very disappointing meal and evening. It was however slightly rectified by the assistant manager taking some money from the final bill but ultimately you could get better food and service for half the price.

really looking forward to this special diwali meal, but alas, service was pretty amateur and inconsistent.
meal wine arrived before the cocktails, and proceeded to be poured.
the main course was served before the previous course, when pointed out, the waiter was apologetic, but the moment was lost.
the food was very nice, but the whole experience was spoiled by the poor service.
expected much more from a so called top restaurant.

We had a lovely meal at the Cinnamon Club. The menu choices were fantastic and were paired with a great wine selection - something for every palate. The food was delightful and very different from Indian meals I have had elsewhere. The service was attentive and very professional. I will certainly be coming back

Always a pleasure to spoil oneself with the set lunch at the Cinnamon Club. The food is always brilliantly thought out and executed, and delicious. This is Indian food where you get a single plate for each course with many components, rather than dishes to share. While the quantities are not huge, you do leave feeling that you have had just the right amount to eat. The staff are attentive without being obtrusive, and the ambiance is carefully designed to keep your attention on the food. Spacing is wide enough that the overall noise level is kept down, and you can get on with a conversation, or confidential political plotting without strain. You are quite likely to be sharing the restaurant with faces that you recognise, though the culture is of course one of discretion.
