Sunday Lunch
The Calverley Arms in Calverley is a country pub oozing rural charm and rustic character. Our picturesque surroundings provide the perfect backdrop for savouring the hearty, seasonal pub-food on our menu, and the carefully nurtured cask ales and fine wines gracing our bar.

Old maps indicate that a building was erected on this site in Victorian times between 1851 and 1893. Nestling on the edge of the picturesque village of Calverley, The Calverley Arms offers views over the adjacent Aire Valley and the edge of Leeds. It's a beautiful building nestling in a healthy plot of land bordered by large trees offering lots of open space and fresh air.

Our beautiful pub is on the edge of the pretty, rural village of Calverley - very handy for Leeds and Bradford - and next door to the rejuvenated Leeds Liverpool Canal and the popular Aire Valley Towpath.

Went for Sunday lunch with a friend, dined several times here before and think there was an overall improvement to the dishes from previous.
Really busy as usual in Sunday, would recommend you book a table. Attentive and patient waitress , both had main course and both had dessert, with 2 bottles of wine bill came to just over £70.
Although busy staff don’t make you feel rushed to leave as they do elsewhere. Will continue to go to the Calverley Arms.

The waitress was miserable and it felt like she didn’t want to be there. We had to track her down and ask for everything e.g. to order drinks, to order food etc. On top of that the service was so slow it took 2hrs 15mins just to get 2 courses brought to our table

When we arrived at the pub we were told our booking was sat on a laptop upstairs and because of this, we hadn't been booked in and there were no available tables except for in the bar area (which were not suitable for my party).

It's clear that the OpenTable reservation system is not linked to their in-house reservation system, therefore beware when booking.

Very disappointed.

The place itself is always good but the booking with opentable was not on their system (not the first time apparently) we were first told fully booked but later having waited were given our table for 7 (2 tables pushe'd together) they did all they can bit sort your booking system out
