The Cabana Cafe
See the stunning bar area and relax at a pool-side table with a signature cocktail or fresh juice, surrounded by shady palm trees and brightly colored parasols, at one of L.A.’s most sought-after outdoor dining areas.
Amazing service and healthy food options
Beautiful setting area
Beautiful setting, friendly staff and really good food. Will certainly return on my next visit to LA! Have recommended to friends.
Honeymoon. Amazing service!
This is a place you go to relax and have a long leisurely lunch leaving filled very calm and relaxed. Absolutely love this place! Very casual dress by the pool which is also what I enjoy! Thank you
Great ambience and fabulous service. Cabanas restaurent by pool which was well attended with families and couples enjoying the sun. Food top quality, fresh and perfectly cooked. The only issue was the prices (which we had expected, so no surprise) which reflected the location with a club sandwich costing $35 and a single pizza $32. Still for a treat or special occassion it was a great experience. P.s. The top recommendation would be the Vegetable Crudite with purple carrots and orange cauliflower adding a great twist to a great dish.
The waiter took so long to get to our table, the wait to order, the wait for the bills, and so many more. Otherwise the view and vibe is very nice. The foods are also delicious but little bit overpriced.
Great setting and service was good but food was way over priced
Had a lovely late lunch with my girls. Be warned portion sizes are huge so we left loads of food. Staff friendly & in no rush to get us off the table, unlike other places in LA. Very chilled place to eat that feels a little bit glamorous & great for tourists with teenage kids.
The hotel and restaurant is very beautiful and so nice. The service was fantastic! I thought the food was pretty gross and not healthy at all. The Caesar had a thick mayonnaise type dressing...yuck, the chicken wrap for $32.00. Lol....had great ingredients, but also a very heavy mayo taste. The club was pretty good, but stacked so high it was practically impossible to eat, but the bacon and turkey tasted good. I'm from SoCal, and have never eaten here so I was expecting light healthy food but was disappointed. But the atmosphere and service was top notch.
I'm completely in love with this place! What a special, iconic hotel to visit whilst in L.A. We enjoyed breakfast at the Cabana Cafe, next to the pool area. I had high hopes for dining here and was not disappointed. Our server Marco was super attentive, helpful when making menu choices and very friendly. We felt very relaxed and looked after. The waffles and breakfast burrito were delicious. I cannot wait to visit again, next time definitely to stay and experience the rest of the hotel. We stayed at another very iconic L.A hotel and my visit here had me wishing we'd booked here instead! I actually looked online at prices whilst I was there! A lovely way to spend the morning.
Absolutely wonderful experience. Wonderful staff.
Paul our waiter was impeccable.
The most beautiful place in L.A. It feels like going back to the 1950's. So Instagrammable!
I made a reservation through open table and this was for a birthday celebration. We got there and the cafe was closed!!!!!!!!!!
Excellent Sunday Brunch at a beautiful iconic location. Eggs Benedict was fine -- but the Avocado Toast and Margaritas were divine.
Beautiful setting and lovely breakfast
Food was mediocre. Burger & Truffle Fries were just ok, but avocado toast was a let down. The table next to us had the same complaint. Server wasn't too attentive. Staff tries to take your plate before you're even finished eating. Food & drinks were overpriced for what they were. I'm not cheap by any means, and will gladly pay top dollar for great food and drinks. I was not impressed. However, If you're looking for a scene and to "be seen", then this is the place for you.
Outside under a pergola next to the pool! Great food and ambiance!
Hostess was a bit rude. Great otherwise!
Lovely and iconic location, seamless service, nice menu for easy eats and refreshments
Great experience for our first day on holiday from the UK
Food is always excellent at the BH Hotel. Service is very spotty. I often hesitate to go for that reason.
Everything was perfect! Thoroughly enjoyed this brunch and the people were so nice. Hopefully next time i come to visit LA i will stay here! Thanks again for making this experience something i will remember!
The hotel wreaks of history and couldn't be more beautiful. Aside from being bumped from our reservation by Mary J Blige, the lunch was perfect. The greet staff was very accommodating and the wait staff was prompt and beyond friendly. The portions are huge so just be aware of that. The food was cooked perfectly and tasted incredible! Will definitely go back.
Some of the most ordinary and uninspired food I ever had . I will not go back >
1st class in every way!
Food was good but you are paying for the experience. $27 for two blueberry pancakes...
Service is excellent, poolside dining is relaxing. Great people watching. Food is good though you definitely pay for the name. Portions are large enough to share.
This is the place you go to check out the historic hotel, maybe spot a celeb, or be in the scene/make a deal. It's not a place I'd go to for food. Paying $30 for a salad with processed chicken is not quite worth it. But you pay to sit outdoors in a fancy hotel in BH, so that's how it goes.
Very bland. Food was IHOP quality with the breakfast was just bland and nothing exciting!
Would not recommend this place to have a $78 plate for two.
Beautiful pool side patio restaurant, with nice salads and sandwiches. Fun to people watch and see how the other half lives, for the price of lunch, if the price of a room at the Beverly Hills Hotel is not in the budget:)
I went here for a birthday brunch with my friends. The staff area all very kind and really value customer service. The food is amazing and the vibe of the hotel is so timeless. It is a great spot for getting together with friends
the beverly hills hotel is a retro fabulous, well maintained iconic hotel. the grounds are lovely and we chose to have our lunch poolside @ the cabana cafe. there is a choice of banquette booth seating or tables overlooking the foliage and pool. it was very relaxing. the staff is friendly and attentive and my fruit smoothie and vegetable frittata was yummy.
I am so glad I came across a recommendation to dine at The Cabana Café in the Beverly Hills Hotel.. it became one of the most memorable parts of our LA stay.
We loved being immersed into a world of pastel colours, luxurious pool-side lounges and cabanas, palm trees and polo clad waiters.
Perfect vibe for brunch and definitely great for events like mother's day, birthdays etc.
DineLA offer as 3 course pre-fix lunch, appetizer, main course, and dessert as listed on the DineLA menu. But when we were ready for our desserts, restaurant menu charges $10. Extra for dessert, the manager waived the charge. Make sure to check your bill.
The food is the usual type but the service and location is wonderful.
Best of poolside dining on a beautiful day, which is almost EVERY day in Beverly Hills. We were surprised the place wasn't full. All retro look has been kept intact. We were wishing there were something spectacular on the dessert menu, but just the usual sundaes etc. You feel like hanging out here all day. Friendly staff.
Great people watching, great food and impeccable service
My experience was disappointing and embarrassing. First time going to Cabana Cafe. I expected quality and standards of a 5 star Hotel... way far from that. Went with a friend and I payed the $100 check to release him from feeling cheated, which is how I felt. What a shame! The food was bad quality, not organic, and definitely not fresh. I had a Caesar Salad with Shrimps. They were frozen shrimps, tasteless, burned and dry. The lettuce was not fresh either, I had a couple of brownish leaves. The glazed walnuts were like hard candy, made with sugar. No idea how to plater. My friend's Frittata was tasteless and oily. I highly recommend you get a chef that looks at the details and puts love in the work. And put a mist cooling system. Too hot!
I took my son here on my visit to Los Angeles and we had a wonderful time.. The waitress was exceptionally nice. The food came very quickly. I had the Caesar Salad with grilled shrimp. The shrimp was very tasty and tender. They put candied walnuts on the Caesar which give it quite a different and vibrant flavor. My son had a Club Sandwich with fries. The sauce they add to the Club give it a rich flavor. The bread basket includes an incredible blue cheese biscuit. The waitress boxed us up some goodies and the adorable pink box contained two smaller pink and white striped boxes. If you had one place to go in Beverly Hills that would leave a lasting memory please take the time to visit The Cabana Cafe in The Beverly Hills Hotel.
