Food far from a highlight - ok pub food at best. Service ok to good. Ambiance of the pub is great.

The choice of food from starters to mains is very broad and certainly gets the taste buds jumping in the mouth. More lighting would be great otherwise it was a great evening

Th noise was overly loud....there was a DJ already playing at 7.45! This is a time when people are still dining and the music should have been quite a bit quieter! We ordered and when the food came it was really disappointing. How can you get a cheeseburger so wrong? The meat pattie itself was thick, dry and tepid at best. It was the chewiest burger I have had. The bun was cold - even though it was toasted....the chips were tepid. My husband said send it back, but due to the noise of the music and other customers, I just wanted to get out of there ASAP and I couldn’t be bothered as I probably would have ended up with more of the same! My husband had fish and chips which were pretty average - the fish wasn’t fresh and had probably been frozen at so,e time in its was pretty dead on the plate! Flavor wise was average. We tried the Bridge Hotel and we definitely will not be returning for food...maybe a drink as you can’t go wrong there!

After the 2 of us arrived at 6.30 pm with a pre-booking, our first drinks took approximately 20 minutes to arrive. The service was good after this time & both waiting staff were very friendly.

The CRISPY SQUID, LEMON PEPPER, ROASTED GARLIC AIOLI, was very under-done & a bit soggy. The remainder of the food was reasonable.

The lighting & ambience was excellent.

Wednesday night steak was good value. The place has plenty of seating options for quiet nooks or more open spaces. Dining room was cozy and inviting. First visit (despite living here for xxxx years!) Will go back. Requested medium-rare steaks which were on the medium side so perhaps UNDER order on the cooking. Very happy with our date night out!
