One of the better brunch locations in KL for a romantic afternoon
Food and wine are terrible
I like that the place is quiet and sitting at a corner booth made a lot of difference for us.
The wait staff were friendly and pleasant - but perhaps could be a bit more attentive in terms of refilling our glasses. Also, don't hover around the table waiting for me to take my last bite before clearing my plate - although I can see the main course ready to serve. If anything, serving should be done at my timing and not rushing me to finish my food.
Food was good - I love the Alaskan King Crab bruschetta and the Artichoke Hearts. For the main course, I'm happy with the Sea Bass but a little torn on the Ribeye that we had - we asked for Medium Rare but it came out rather well done. I'm not sure if it was cooked a little too early, hence it became overcooked while waiting to be served - which is why the little rush as mentioned above ...
Overall, still a good experience but being St Regis, I think I expected the above to not have happened.
My wife Ivy and I celebrated our birthdays with friends last weekend. We had a wonderful time. We were very well looked after, the food was superb and the ambience sublime. The staff were good humoured, professional and attentive. All our invited guests felt the same way. We will return! Wish we could be residents.
I would recommend the restaurant to a friend. but with my explanation: We came for the second time -first time was during a special wine and dinner event and we said 'we need to come back, since the food was very good'. Second time it was ok - but not as good as expected. Main course meat (although on the menu as Wagyu) was not tender and under cooked - so needed to go back to the kitchen. Presentation was not spectaculair and still not tender. Starter of foie gras and rillettes was very good and nicely presented. Bread was good. Very attentive that we were given a special Birthday dessert. Ambiance is ok, but it was very quiet - not many guests around.
Price is expensive but they serve quality food. Other reviewers said limited variety but for me the variety is good and sufficient. Lots of varieties for desserts, I like the pan seared foie gras, alaska king crab, salmon roe and caviar.
Overall good experience. Waiter made some recommendations and they were good (it was our 3rd back here).
Lobster pasta was a little difficult to handle. They had the lobster shell and claw which made things a little messy for a fine dining place. The lobster was a little tough n rubbery.
Ribeye was surprisingly ok. It was tender and juices were maintained.
Team could have been a little more attentive. Our plates were left on the table for a while before they came to clear them - they were not full. Water refills took a while. Finger bowl wasn’t there when the lobster dish came.
Overall still a good experience.
Best risotto I have had in years! Will return on next visit to KL.
Surrounding of the restaurant could have been better. Waiter name Zain was very friendly and helpful.
Had a wonderful wine and dine date with my beautiful wife celebrating our 15th year wedding anniversary. Food was great, ambience was excellent, wait staff were friendly and attentive.
The bokking was made in a month ago. Two weeks before the dinner they informed me the restaurant is booked by a company on that day and ask me if i can change to another day. Of course is not an issue for me. Then they email and asked me to submit the credit card authorisation for to secure my booking. When i replied with my details, it was rejected by their st regis company email system. But the people still insist me to provide to their mobile number which against their company policy of submission credit card details. After all the communication and troubles then thy willing to hold my booking
On that day, their bread has some plastic fibre!
The food is really awful from a 3 star michelin Chef.
Generally a lovely place with a nice ambience and a fine spread of food where buffet or sunday brunch is concerned but after having the waiter shove his hand in my face to suggest that I wait before I could even place my request, you don't leave feeling too impressed. Service was also pretty slow as compared to our first experience when everybody was a lot more pleasant and attentive. However, the establishment is quite accommodating for the most part and we did enjoy our food and time.
We came with high expectation but was rather disappointed of its selection and quality of food. Online reviews were raving how great and best brunch buffet it was supposed to be, but to be honest, it was rather the opposite. There were good ones like its fresh oyster and lobster meat, but that was it all. We were served with not so fresh quality of cheese, some part was so hard to cut it through. one of the main reasons we came because how my daughter loves her cheese, but she didn't had much of it. We requested freshly made pasta but it came not fully cooked, it's not al dente doneness, it was rather hard. Presentation of food was also quite sad, it didn't prompt us to try the lamb & turkey. The salmon didn't taste fresh either.
Black coffee was on the sourish side, again, not to my liking but the fresh coconut was really good. Ambience and setting were of course top notch.

I really had a wonderful time. I was really happy that the staff allowed us to confirm if we wanted a 2 or 3 course meal after we had our mains. We were not really sure if we could have finished desserts as we were small eaters but they told us we could decide later. Thank you for the excellent service and food!
The food was fresh and well prepared! Wines were well chosen to pair with the food. Service was amazing. You really feel pampered!
Sorry but everything was just overpriced and choice at lunch was very limited. Even then the side salad with the appetiser was not even dressed. Coffee order got so mixed up it was a bit ridiculous.
Attended Sunday Roast and Brunch. Food good but at the Roast Beef carving station, had to wait for service and the server will cut the meat into really small bite size pieces and put only 3 thumb size pieces on your plate. It's embarrassing that you have to ask the server to give you a little more beef slices considering the premium price charged. Meat and soup were cold. Ordered foie gras from the cooking station; reminded twice and it never came so gave up. Floor staff not familiar with the Brunch package and had to check if soft drinks and coffee were included; it was stated on their pamphlet and website.
Underwhelming experience, food good buy service was patchy and attention to detail wanting. Poor value for price charged.

Beautiful setting, complimented by good food and great service.
Dining here felt like a TREAT! Our waiter Farid looked after us very well as did the rest of the crew and we were caught off guard when a birthday cake was brought out for the birthday guest.
The only down for me was that the King Alaskan crab although very tasty was a tad too salty.
Christmas Day Buffet and so maybe not representative but the food was really quite poor. Not just my opinion, but also most of my guests, and other customers seemed to say the same. Almost all the starters and a lot of the main courses were seafood based, which ruled me out and another guest with gout. We were left with a dry block of Salmon En Croute, the remains of a decimated turkey and a Cottage Pie. Very little in the way of vegetables in a traditional sense. I ended up eating 2 portions of what was a motorway service station standard pie, and some warm desserts (cakes etc not on ice.) The senior staff were excellent, the waiters also, but the staff behind the carvery seemed to have little idea about serving meat. Overall, I was very disappointed for the considerable cost. The most positive thing is that it wasn't as bad as Lafitte Shangri La the previous year.
