    Came here for lunch with my two sons. We had an awesome lunch! Food was great, something for everyone and we really loved the cocktails. Staff were very attentive and friendly. My favourite restaurant on the coast.

    Excellent location, great decor, excellent service ... food was good, but my pork belly didnt have a crispy top, it was spongy, so I was a little disapointed with that. Little on the expensive side, but we also had the 15% public hol surcharge as well ... but overall a very pleasant lunch and I would come back here again, probably in the warmer months though.

    Lovely ambience. 3 out of 4 meals were fantastic (Beef cheeks, Jewfish special and Duck breast) 3rd (spiced pumpkin and falafel was OK but nothing special, lacked any spice. But I do like this restaurant. Cosy at night and lovely views at lunchtime.

    We were very happy with our visit to The BOX. The service was outstanding and the atmosphere was clean and modern while retaining a casual atmosphere. We were not pushed to leave our table , even though we stayed for several hours. All in all a great experience. Only peeve were noisy dogs sitting on the table directly outside. Normally dogs are not an issue for me, and I think this was more a reflection on the selfishness of other patrons, than the management.

    This restaurant is within a short walk from our home so we are regular visitors. It never disappoints and has excellent choices in both the food and wine menus. The service was friendly and professional as always.

    The food was great. Unfortunately we had a late booking and the service dropped off over the evening. The staff was busy closing the restaurant rather than serving.

    We celebrated my mother's 85Th birthday at The Box and enjoyed outstanding service and food. The waiters really now the menu well and gave great recommendations on the food and beverages and went out of their way to fuss over my mum. Thank you The BOX for making my mother's birthday so special. We will be back!

    Superbly cooked seafood in a very chic setting. I am used to modern high end restaurants in Manhattan and this equaled that experience ; informally elegant with a staggering view. Surprisingly hidden away but worth looking for. I actually liked in more than the more expensive places in Sydney I went to. I hope to be back!

    I took my best friend here for her Birthday and it was fantastic, the service was spot on, the food was delicious, the venue was really good & the view was spectacular, it was a great place to celebrate her Birthday, I highly recommend The Box in every way, shape & form 😊

    My guest from Sydney had her first visit to TBOTW. She was most impressed. I had told her of the great venue, food and service - she agreed. Mira, Liam and other table staff were brilliant, efficient, courteous and pleasant. food and wine were great. Thank you to chef and kitchen staff and all. Dekuji, Mira.

    Lovely food amazing service and location. It was dark so couldn’t get the full effect of the view but it was still lovely. Great to have so many gluten free options. Cocktails were good too.

    This was our second visit to the Box. The food was great, the service excellent but not obtrusive and the value was good. The location for this restaurant is wonderful and it is extremely popular for both locals and visitors. We will be back.

    This latest visit makes it three in total, always love coming to the Box on the water, food always lovely, service is wonderful and they give a little extra beyond what is normally expected, price is normal for this type of restaurant, and of course the view is always spectacular.     My husband and I had the shared seafood it was very nice all good the only thing was we went on Monday public holiday there was a 15% surcharge but other than that very nice
