Catch up with girlfriends starting with cocktails by the fire then moving to dinner at one of the tables. Staff, drinks, food, ambience. Fantastic. Thanks Bon. You were instrumental in the experience being a great night out.

The food, service and drinks didn't disappoint! We love the duck fat roast potatoes, not as crispy or as much Rosemary as last time but still delicious, we would go to Bon just for them 😁

As a head chef from Sydney the food blew my taste buds away.
The scotch fillet literally melted in my mouth ,So soft and juicy.
I would Defiantly travel an hour and half for it again and again.
From chef to chef well done!!
This steak will defiantly get you emotional if you are a foodie!!

Arguably the best lunch I’ve had in my life. Every dish was first rate. The place was packed which was great to see. Service was great and we were treated as family. Food and drinks came quickly for how busy it was and the quality was world class. Amazing steak, pasta, sides and entrees. Dessert was heavenly. Can’t wait to dine in again soon. Love the Bon!

The Bon Pavilion never lets us down. We took my elderly father for lunch and he just loved the food. The free dessert for him for his birthday was a nice touch. We will be back for certain.

Loved our amazing dinner at the Bon Pavillion! The chicken kiev was tender with beautiful flavours, and the rump steak was cooked to perfection - seriously one of the best steaks I've had in a long time! The garlic mash is a MUST, as well as the sourdough bread to start. Even though we could barely fit it in, the frangipane tart was a delicious end to the dinner. Even though there was plenty of other people, everyone was seated really far apart which made the space really quiet and peaceful. The prices are on the higher end (we paid $130 for two, with one glass of wine each), but totally worth it for a special occasion or if you're craving an amazing steak!

Duck Fat potatoes to die for!!!

My husband and I dined here for our anniversary- both had the scotch fillet, cooked to perfection and melt in the mouth. We ordered the duck fat potatoes as a side and they were absolutely amazing, definitely a highlight of the meal!

Service was prompt and welcoming - thoroughly enjoyed our dinner here 🙂

Wanting to return for the second time after almost 8 months, I was eager to eat at The Bon again, for my birthday. I understand it was after Covid, but most places used this time to really focus on streamlining and improving the quality of food and service all round. Unfortunately our experience wasn't the best, with a wait of around half an hour for drinks to arrive at our table, followed closely by our food, which was ordered 5 minutes after or drinks were ordered.
My friend ordered a $45 steak, and was really disappointed with the taste and texture. It wasn't cooked nicely and had no flavour at all, leaving just a slab of rubbery meat. For the price you would expect almost perfection (or at least better than a pub steak!)
My fiance ordered your burger, which was asked to be not too pink and more medium. The burger was just two thick slabs of meat, very undercooked. Some might like this, but the taste overall became bland and hard to eat as the burger cooled.
The duck fat potato's weren't as good as I'd remembered, not as crispy on the outside like they were last time. Still yum, but just not as good.
The saving grace was a new side dish I ordered, of crispy Brussels sprouts with lentils. It was YUM. We would go back for that.
Overall, it was ok and some of the food delicious, but with the wait for drinks and the underwhelming food, it's hard to say I will go running back.

We had eaten here before and had a good experience but not this time around. Ingredients for two cocktails on the menu were not in stock. Potatoes served as a side were not properly cooked. Wouldn't come back for a meal again.

Fabulous venue. We enjoyed pre-dinner drinks, dinner and then a nightcap at the bar. No rush, food was perfect, we were waited a little after being seated For dinner, however this was acknowledged without us having to mention it and taken care of.

As always, an excellent dining experience. Delicious food, prepared perfectly. For reference sake, I had the Scotch fillet steak, medium rare. Beautiful. The cocktails were also delicious. I had the Singapore sling. I loved the friendly and efficient service. Nice ambient atmosphere. I cannot rate this place more highly!
