We visited while still in the Level 1 social distancing rules and there were only a maximum of 10 people permitted in the restaurant. Despite the tough conditions and the small number of dinners (just us 2 and a table of 8) the food and service were amazing. Of course, with only 10 people the place lacked its usual warmth but the attentive staff and great food more than made up for that. Can't wait to go back when there's more people allowed to mingle.

It was our first time to dine here for my husbands birthday. It was a totally amazing experience, the venue, staff and food were all fantastic. Can not wait to go again.

What a treat to go out to dinner after lockdown restrictions easing. The good was great the re mixed cocktails were very generous serves and the staff were very considerate at distancing & hygiene practices. 10/10

Beautiful restaurant with a small but very interesting menu - different choices to tempt the palate. We were also offered specials of the night. The choices we made were mouth-watering and not choices that you would find in many other places. The staff were very helpful, informative and friendly to make our night a time to remember.
In all, a restaurant well worth visiting in the atrea.

Came here to celebrate my first anniversary with my partner and we were not disappointed. Was lovely to see the place well attended on a Tuesday night too. The food was amazing. The cocktails were amazing. The price is a little bit higher than other places in the area but well worth the higher price tag. Love coming here.

Food was great, had the lamb shoulder n duck potatoes , just wonderful combination. Yep had dessert has well, staff was attentive, big group made which made it very noisy. Otherwise wld recommend n defs going back again. It’s good to have fine dining so local. Thanks

A bit noisy and inappropriate music considering the average guest age. Food is good just not a fan of chips with mussels would rather have a bread option. Had to really look to have a refill for drinks and chips.

This was my 2nd time at The Bon. My girlfriend and I caught up for dinner and had the Monday night Vegan choice. It was delicious and so full of flavor. The waitstaff where friendly and accommodating. No question was annoying and they had an answer straight away.
I can’t wait to have another excuse to go back and dine here.

We were there for a special occasion and we would of loved to order dessert however the kitchen was closed and we weren’t informed. Our mains were cleared before 10pm which is the close time stated on the their website and when we asked for the dessert menu we were informed the kitchen is closed and it wasn’t even 10pm. If your going to close early it is your duty to inform your diners if they would like to order anything else before closing the kitchen.

Another outstanding meal at the Bon Pavilion. Entrees, mains and wine were impeccable. The Petuna Ocean Trout was cooked to perfection and with its delicious accompaniments was the highlight of the night. Well done Chefs.

Awesome place for dinner or a drink! The service was second to none, with funny, charismatic, friendly waiters and waitress who knew the menu and could recommend a great dish and the specials. Absoloutley loved it, will definitely be returning for some more food drinks and fun!

Service always starts so well, personal, professional and attentive, and then finishes so poorly (which is probably the main reason for this review) . For example, we would have ordered dessert however after asking for the menus we waited 15 minutes and then decided we were too full (breaking a fundamental principle of running a successful restaurant). When we booked through OpenTable we mentioned a special birthday of which dessert is an important moment. This was never mentioned.

For some reason the wait staff change midway through your service, which could be the source of the problem. The Bon would get more out of diners if they mastered the art of the server connection with customers.

The favourite menu item for the kids - Mac and Cheese had significantly changed in portion size and is now served in a small pan shaped dish instead of the deep bowl. Typically the kids cant get through this dish, on this occasion, it was gone in 5 mins. When we provided the feedback at the end, our second server was a little argumentative.

Finally, $2.50 for half a slice of sour dough continues to bother me. What happened to the good old days of bread for the table. I wouldn't mind paying if the bread were amazing, however there is nothing special about it. Bon Pavillion started with so much promise and is now becoming an arrogant and lazy version of a formerly great restaurant...and in such a short space of time.

Traveling through Gosford on a very rainy birthday weekend, we were so happy to find this gem. Great service, the food was delicious, and the space is quite something with it's large space and huge circular staircase. We loved the menu options, from the unique to the simplest, like the roasted chicken. Can't ignore the duck fat potatoes. Great addition to the weekend.

The service was great as soon as we arrived. All the staff were very friendly. The recomendations were 100%.
The food was soooo good. Value for money was very good. I would have given 5 stars for everything except it took too long to be able to settle the account.
