I’d only recommend this restaurant if you are kid free and dinning with people who don’t have limited diets. They have a short menu and tend to run of items. In our case it was the the buns for the kids hamburger and the kid couldn’t anything else to eat. They went ahead and cooked the adults food before even telling us that they were out of buns. Bit disappointed in terms of organisation and service. But food was good and venue has a nice view

The Boat Shed is set at the beautiful Hume Weir surrounds. It is a great casual dining place. The food and service were very good. A very good range of drinks also.

Would highly recommend this location as well as the fact it’s kid friendly

I have dined previously and food was sensational, however we had a group of 14 there the other day for lunch on my recommendation and food (especially the fish was very basic). 1 meal was forgotten, but I will still return.

Regular eat at the Boat Shed Restaurant it is always pleasant, excellent service and enjoyable.

Our family regularly dine at The Boatshed. 20 family members dined Saturday night and were very pleased with food, service etc.

The food choice was very good and was impressed with the selection. When we ordered our food everything was overly salty. I cannot confirm but it seemed that extra salt was added on our pizza after it was cooked and about to be served.

Not only pizza but meals we had ordered were overly salty such as calamari and the chips.

I look forward to coming back but I hope they are able to make these changes! Thank you

We had our office Xmas function at the Boat shed. A thoroughly enjoyable experience. The service was great and food was very flavoursome and brought out in a timely manner.

Visited the Boat Shed for our anniversary. During online booking, marked the box “anniversary” as reason for our visit.
Upon arrival received a complimentary glass of sparkling wine each as a lovely surprise with well wishes for our anniversary from two different staff members.
Fast, delicious, reasonably priced pizzas. Excellent service. Will definitely be back!

Soft shell crab hamburger was all batter & shell very little meat, I was disappointed, the rest of the tables meals were good

Waiter was slow to serve us.

He forgot drinks and food then tried to charge us for drinks he never brought out

Food was large but average to poor in taste

Advertised for 90s hip hop wed - no hip hops music or ambiance . Just a few cheaper items if food that were not overly tasty.

Went to the boat shed for our anniversary. Staff were just lovely, even gave us a glass of Prosecco on arrival and wished us happy anniversary and put us at a quieter table. Food was delicious. Lovely views. Will definitely be back!

Great location, wonderful service. Small menu with lots of seafood options.

First time we visited the ribs and woodfire cooked Parmi were delicious. On our second visit the squid was undercooked and the pizza needed just a touch more in the oven. Table service fell a bit short as we found ourself going to the bar to order drinks. Nice vibe and enjoyed the 90’s rnb.

We went for that reason, ordered our margaritas immediately as we knew what we wanted, , just to find out later the Prices and menu had Changed.

Service was great. A little noisy however that could have just been the kids in the room! A little cold and we asked to have the air turned down a bit and she said she couldn't?? The Chicken Parmi in the wood fired oven was great but would have preferred it to be a fillet rather than a thigh. The soft shell crab burger was nice and the crab itself cooked beautifully but I think its a shame to waste it in bread, I would prefer that in a salad to let it shine!
Overall the wine was good and we enjoyed our lunch - we will be back!

Great place to have a meal. Pizzas are really nice and just the right size. Cocktails are amazing and non alcoholic cocktails available and just as nice. Service is always excellent and the staff are polite, accomodate special requests and ensure you have drinks throughout your stay.
Price is good, meal sizes good, quality of food excellent! Atmosphere is beautiful and the views of the lake are so tranquil. COVID aware and provide sanitises.

I have dined at tThe Boatshed a couple of times and have been impressed with the service each time.

The venue has good parking with plenty of shade and a great view out to the lake.

The menu is not extensive but it has most of what you may wish. The drinks menu is adequate.

Enjoyed the visit again.

We had a wonderful experience at the Boat Shed at Lake Hume. Service was excellent, waiter’s cheerful demeanor and knowledge of the food and drink menu was excellent as was the promptness of meals. The meals were delicious, all 5 of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals and desserts. Will definitely be back! 11/10!

The service and the food were lovely. We had a table of 7 for a birthday and all really enjoyed the brunch. Just a bit strange that we could only order a small coffee not a large and no mushroom brunch dish available at 10 am. Other than that the whole experience was good. Thank you
