   Such an awesome location & beautiful space. The service was a bit spotty but we came at a weird time . . . .4:30 pm so maybe it was just a shift change sort of thing? The food was OK - nothing bad but for the price, I was expecting more. I will say the wine list is phenomenal, craft beers on tap & the cocktails were fantastic! Overall, I will return but probably more for drinks & appetizers.

   If you want to wait forever for service and then to get cold food, start your night at the Boathouse. While the view is wonderful, nothing else is.

    Service was very slow . We waited too long for our food!. We dined outdoor and my husband had to go inside the restaurant to hollow up on our food.Food was good but not for the price. We ordered the halibut and it did not taste fresh. Staff were not very accommodating to our needs. When we got our check the amount of tip was already there. We paid it but I don’t think they deserved that tip. A lot of times even if the food is not that good or even if it’s expensive , reviews are good because of service . I seldom write reviews but this was really not a good experience.

    We asked to be seated outside, which we were, but although there were heaters (unnecessary for brunch), not a lot of shade. The service was sooooo incredibly slow… from taking our drinks order to getting the drinks, then taking food order and getting food was way to slow for this party of four (they didn’t seem to have a lot of other customers!) When 3 meals came out (1 had forgetter the added egg!), we were told they were out of the fourth meal completely, so that person had to order something else, but our food was served. This resulted in 3 people eating in front of the 4th person; by the time the 4th meal came out, we were done with ours. Wife had to go to bar herself to get refill on iced tea because service was so slow. Carafe of water was left as we were seated, and not refilled the entire meal (on a very hot afternoon). In the end, the food that we had was good, but the $ and bad service cannot compensate.

    We had a reservation for outside and were first told there were no tables outside, then were told they were setting up a table for us outside. After we were seated we only saw one waitperson on the other side and we didn't receive any service. After about 40 minutes, we left, only having received water.

    Service and food were very good. The jazz trio, while talented, are not playing the type of jazz suited for a dinner crowd. They seem to be playing for themselves, not the audience. We have eaten there three times in the last six weeks and feel that, short of sitting outside in the cold and wind, we can’t hide. If they played a soft chill jazz it would be SO much better.

    For a celebration, it was a nice venue- the food is underwhelming and the staff was overworked. I wouldn't recommend the fish and chips. I would say that it was worth almost all of the downsides for a)chocolate cake and b) the view.

    We arrived (4.45pm Sunday May 8) and waited in line for some time since apparently the party in front of us did not have a reservation and the host was naming who they did have. In that list of reservations was mine and as she’s trying to pronounce it she’s making faces and mocking it like saying (what kind of name is this). She finally gets to us and walks us to our tables that weren’t ready. She struggled and rushed to push them together in front of us and threw the wrinkled up menus in the middle of the table on top of plates and whatever else was on the table. It took forever for a server to come and bring waters and take any orders. Appetizers took so long to come out and our sever was just everywhere. (Roger) he seems like a nice guy just needs maybe a bit more training. Food was fine, nothing spectacular.

    Short staffed. Even the hostess needed to be tracked down. Food was subpar and made me ill a few hours later (smoked salmon). Sister ordered prime rib medium and the kitchen sent it twice prepared medium rare with a sloppy hospital cafeteria presentation. Would not go back.

    We ordered from the Sunday Mother's Day brunch menu and our waitress brought over the turkey dinner option and said there wasn't what we had asked for and I said it was on the menu and we showed her. She said oh sorry after my mom was so hungry she had already taken a few bites. But weird she wouldn't come over to tell us before she went ahead and placed the order for the turkey dinner. Disappointing and expensive brunch item wasn't worth it along with the service.

    Nothing like it’s been marketed as. The menu was limited with a room-service like menu. The ambiance was nothing as advertised. Restaurant is dated with limited views. Also no menu for kids.

    Great place for Sunday Brunch. Service from a few individuals is excellent, others, need training. There should be an outdoor check in desk esp. on a sunny day or because they are dog friendly and to check in, you'd have to leave your dogs outside. They don't check their messages if nobody picks up the phone. The eggs were prepared exactly as asked which on a Sunday, is literally impossible. One order of Benedict, runny, CHECK! One order of scramble runny not an omlette, CHECK! Well done potatoes as requested, CHECK! Dog water, CHECK! Our server, Jian couldn't have been nicer and is bending over backwards to ensure customer happiness. Host / Manager ? Invisible and could have lended a hand when everyone wanted checks at one time and busgirl was totally busy.

    the hostess did warn us if there would be a 10 to 15 minute delay between ordering and getting our dinner but it was more like 40 minutes and our waiter was sort of out of it .....it was very strange. The view of the Marina sitting outside amd the fire pit was nice their heaters were not working which was weird amd they were out of the Chardonnay Onwamted and the beer my husband wanted. Maybe because it was Cal Day they were overwhelmed? But it wasn't crowded there so i'm not sure what was going on . A little too expensive for what we got also.......

    A really nice setting and great atmosphere. Food was excellent though the menu is a bit limited. Clam chowder (soup of the day) was a standout, as was the oyster po boy trio. Service was friendly attentive and on top of things. Would definitely return.

    I wanted to take my daughters somewhere nice for dinner. The description of the place didn't state that it was part of hotel or that there was a $30 parking fee. Luckily they validated the parking. As far as the food was concerned, it was over priced and was just ok in taste. Not terrible, but not great. My grandson ordered a pepperoni flatbread that didn't appear to have any pepperoni, was the size of a small pizza and was $19!!! Service was great and they did everything they could to make our experience great.

    This was one of the worst dining experience we have ever had. First of all the hostas was missing when we arrived. After waiting a long time she finally came but she seated the party next in line instead of us. She had attitude. Next we waited a long time for any servers to come to our table. The only person that was effective was the water pourer. When the server finally came it was obvious that she did not understand English. I asked if the chicken wings were flats or drumettes and she did not understand. She made a gesture with her two fingers and said they were all like that so I ordered them thinking they were all flats. When the dish came it was a combination. When I showed it to her she got all defensive and said she told me it was bones. Of course chicken wings has bones. She said she had to call the manager to talk to me and that took another half an hour wait. In the first place after we made our order I saw her standing by the computer terminal for a long long time. No food nor drink came. This restaurant does not have efficient staffing. They seem to not know what they’re doing and there is no coordination. We will not be coming back here ever again.The food was mediocre and the price was definitely not worth it. The wait person never came to apologize and did not act like she was wrong in anyway. Also the parking is not clear. In order to enter the parking lot one must have a hotel key. Since we were not staying at DoubleTree That was challenging.
