Nigel will be the most familiar faces you will see at The Bell. Our intention is to make the Bell a family run traditional pub offering a Thai Street Food Cuisine in the evenings, with good old-fashioned values built on integrity and an eye for quality. Thriving on good reputations and using the positive energy from our customers - our aim is to make your experience at The Bell so memorable - your custom will turn into our friendship.

Fantastic food and customer service, can't wait to come back.
Highly recommended, Sunday roast was great and staff very attentive. We felt safe in regards to Covid 19 with all precaution being enforced. We will return again....when we can. There was also a great duo playing who's name we didn't get.

Considering the changes in regulations, the ambiance in the restaurant is lovely.
Everything was lovely until some customers went to sit outside and the door was left open, despite requests to the staff from other tables to close the door, the staff insisted it had to be left open, even when 2 tables had to put on their coats to keep the chill off and 2 tables moved to another area away from the draught. We cut short our stay and went to a warmer venue for a night cap
The food was delicious and the service was brilliant. Would definitely recommend and will be visiting again.

The Thai food was amazing, really authentic. Friendly staff, nice atmosphere and lovely to see that an independent pub is doing so well during these difficult times.

A great Thai meal with my family I had a medium hot green curry full of flavour but not to hot to handle.
Both food and drinks were table service so we didn't have a dedicated waitress so service was very quick.
All of the waitress were very efficient and friendly and knowledgeable of the Thai menu.
The Bell is a great traditional pub with good food andlovely just for a few beers.
Would definitely recommend it for foor and beer.
Covid friendly outside heated dining with live music.
Negatives: It was a bit cold outside and the heater kept switching off. There were no other diners so the ambiance scored low. We moved table due to the smokers standing outside the pub door

First time eating in since lockdown so was a little apprehensive. The outdoor area was lovely with tables well spaced and a maximum of 6 per table. Staff were very knowledgeable explaining the food which was amazing! Have already rebooked.

Lovely pub with friendly staff and great service. We sat in the outdoor covered area where there were heaters so very cosy. Thai food was outstanding, freshly cooked and tasted divine.
Nice welcome, food was very nice & a nice surprise was the EOTHO discount was still running. Meal for two including starters, mains & 2 drinks each was £32.00.

Thai food is a new venture for this pub and I was pleasantly surprised how good it was. Portions are quite generous (I brought half of mine home). The outside area is provided with wall heaters so it will be possible to continue to eat outside for some time though the actual area is quite basic. There is a second open garden/patio area reserved for smokers. I would definitely visit again.
