Enjoyed the tapas, had the crab croquettes with a spicy jam sauce which was a highlight, scallops were a generous serve and tasty and the beef sliders were average.
Espresso martini was perfect!

Had a fantastic night with colleagues at The bay. 5 tapas with bottle of wine deal is well worth it, very delicious food. Staffs are friendly, definitely will return. Jerry

Had to wait an hour for our meals. Seemed under staffed and unorganised. Food was ok though.

Thought there’s be a band for the weekend but there was none. Was just ok, nothing great. Enjoy the meal and left.

Visited several times, love the new menu. My wife enjoyed their tapas so much. Kids loved their meals too.
Would book in the beer garden for live music next time.

Was so loud we had to yell to hear each other, waited a while for service. Neither of us finished our meals, they weren’t good. Manager seemed very rude too.

Young female staff serving us were excellent, fast and professional and lovely. Thank you to them they were amazing.

The service here was far from acceptable, 40+mins wait for food before we found out they had lost our order, another 20mins wait. And it was not busy, not impressed!

Let me start by saying the food was very good. Which is a good thing because everything else was pretty mediocre.
This is the third time I have booked a table for two and three from three we were seated right next to the toilets. Not much fun as there were a fair few inebriated guests who had obviously been there all day going past us repeatedly drunk and loud.
We had to wait thirty minutes from ordering to service and our starter and main came out together.
Won’t be going again.

No table ready for our booking. Waited 1.5hrs for food. Forgot our cocktails. Since new management took over during COVID it is in complete shambles. No one knows what they’re doing!

Nice quiet night out for dinner mid week. Great service and nice food at a good price.

I wouldn't call it service when the waitress says , please order at the bar as we are swamped tonight.
I wouldn't call it a table but rather a pair of bar stools next to a draughty door that everyone kept walking through.

I had a brilliant time with my partner on Saturday night. The food, drinks, service, company and ambience were all just brilliant.

It was a crazy busy night and the staff coped really well.

Would highly recommend.

A guy at the bar was very rude. How would we know we needed to order by table all at once? Did you tell me? Nooo. I saw him throwing same rudeness to other customers for the same reason. Why don’t you tell us about Order by table beforehand instead of giving us a rude attitude and a big thigh? Disappointing.

We had booked a table for two, which ended up being out in the beer garden. We were shown the direction towards such place, however not to our actual booked seat. After foraging for menus ourselves we went to the bar to order countless tapas and mojitos. The lady directed us to our actual booked table, and took our order. After ordering the mojitos she explained she would call us when they were done considering our table was right next to the bar.
Our entirety of all our tapas/oysters/wedges had come out, except for our drinks. On the arrival of our last course we asked politely where our mojitos were. After such time they finally arrived held by a disgruntled man. We were given a grilling about when ordering drinks to remain at the bar to receive them.
We were just doing what the previous lady had told us to do? Didn’t appreciate being told off like we were toddlers.
Otherwise, the food was 10/10 and the ambience was awesome.

Service was terrible, waited over 45 minutes to have our table changed. They forgot our drink and wasted our time.

Visited The Bay for a few times, this time is for business meal, tapas are great, especially the scallops and pork belly. Waitress are friendly, looks like there are some renovation going on at the beer garden. Will definitely come back again!

Got there at was shown to our table then left there. No one came not even to put water on our table. Left after 20 minutes of absolute no contact with anyone. Was not busy at all only 2 other tables 1 had their meals already the other had finished. Waiters were talking and and cleaning bar. So cant blame or say it was a busy time.

Great venue let down with poor service. The drinks were inconsistent with a jug of sangria unpalatable. It was replaced with an apology. Tapas choices were tasty. We were a large group and had to request sharing plates and cutlery. Empty glasses and dirty plates were left on the table. Water jugs unfilled. The guy playing the acoustic guitar was great

Terrible service, very unorganised and short staffed

Had a great time, atmosphere was fun and the music was great!

Not that great, arrived at 6:30, ordered drinks that took 20 min to arrive after the waiter 3rd attempt as most of the beers we picked weren’t in stock. He had to check and come back every single time.

Food order was placed but waiter had some stationary issues so came back for attempt 2
Ordered steak and paella (the menu list this as a main that you can share but to be honest this will only feed one)

Prawns where undercooked as per photo attached so had to send back. Steak was served but only with a butter knife to cut.

I had to find a staff member to assist with prawns and find a better knife only to find them all crammed in a small front nook behind a laptop

Not the great service and attention to detail we would expect when you pay more than $40 per meal

The staff there go out of their way. I have encountered Saturday and Sunday staff, cannot do enough to assist. I think will make it my favourite local if the service and friendliness continues. Great effort, professionalism and friendliness.

Visit the Bay regularly (will be third time in three weeks this coming Thursday).

Only meal that was below expectations was the kids meal burger. It was very small - like 1 of 3 sliders.
But everything else was good including friendly service.

We had the tapas & wine deal and it was wonderful. Definitely going back.

Good place, music a bit too loud and perhaps the cocktails a little watered down. Although your cocktail maker did alert us of his broken finger, so a correlation could be made! Lovely food

Took a while to get our drink order even though when we first arrived the place was quiet. However staff where very friendly & did apologise. Not sure what the hold up was. The food ordered by our group of 6 was all very nice. My partner & I shared 4 tapas plates which were delicious & filling. We would definitely eat at The Bay again.
