Took a while to get our drink order even though when we first arrived the place was quiet. However staff where very friendly & did apologise. Not sure what the hold up was. The food ordered by our group of 6 was all very nice. My partner & I shared 4 tapas plates which were delicious & filling. We would definitely eat at The Bay again.

Have Annual lunches with work mates & family lunches 2-3 times a year

Very minimal to choose from in regards to food, no basic salads to choose from, our order for drinks was missed came out after food was serviced, local in the area. Little disappointed for a Wednesday night wasn’t busy at all.

Our table was forgotten about multiple times. Multiple food items were unavailable (which we didn’t find out until we tried to order them). When we asked for a water top up we were told “I’ll get it for you straight away” ... 15 minutes later we got more water. Food for another table was brought to ours. The waitress told us she had lots of new staff on which I understand but it really wasn’t good enough as the new people were walking around aimlessly and I would’ve thought at the minimum they’d know how to get us a jug of water. The food itself was ok - not great enough to make up for the poor service. Finally, the corridor to the toilets smelled awful!!

Recently under new management and a definitely improvement on the previous owners. Mainly new staff who seem to be still ‘feeling their way’ a little. Live music was great, food was pretty good too. Overall an enjoyable night out and you would think as time goes on this venue will only get better.

Our meals was delicious, the one man entertainer was good but for a nearly empty pub he was far far to loud. Certainly won’t be racing back as the noise level was ridiculous. The venue also needs new management skills as the way tables had been set up people were being turned away where if the tables had been set up probably they could have certainly accommodated these people. Also the whole place needs BLINDS on the windows as the glare and the heat made it very uncomfortable.

A disappointing visit for my birthday celebration We could only have 2 glasses of Prosecco for 3 of the guests as they had run out ! Only craft beer or VB cans for $9.00 each !
The service was slow on arrival The menu was limited and the meals took a while and were served without cutlery which we then had to wait for
The vegan schnitzel for my guest was swamped in BBQ sauce and ruined the taste
The chicken parmas were too large for the average eater and so much of the plate was wasted My calamari was on a mountain of leaves and not much else !

Overall great food and service but we were sitting at a window with no blinds on a very hot day so we were very hot apart from that food came out hot and very fresh !!

The food was fantastic, great menu to choose from. Great venue, we were a group of 8 plus kids and all said we would be back.

Food was really good. Service was not so great. Had a booking but had to wait for ages to be seated, staff just kept walking past us to go to the kitchen. We were told that someone would come to the table to take our order, but they didn't so we ended up ordering at the bar.

Food was great and large portion sizes. But very understaffed. The poor waitress was run off her feet and not enough time to give proper service. Not her fault.

The waitress and bar staff were fantastic and very friendly and eager to please which was warmly welcomed!

Unfortunately the food was disappointing. The tapas was probably the best value and most enjoyable however the duck spaghetti arrived drowned in soup liquid and over cooked noodles which looked awful. The calamari salad was boring and had no flavour at all... Very disappointing after such an abundance of wonderful summer foods in offer right now!!

Table staff misinterpreted a drink order and was stubborn about their own error.

Our food was not consistent, my partner enjoyed his vegan Parma, I was not impressed with calamari salad as it didn't taste like it was made from fresh but rather frozen with mediocre salad and fish and chips was a little too greasy with simple sides. I was expecting quality and interesting flavours for the price I was paying.

Under staffed and a staff a bit off hand. Ran out of Sparkling wine and champagne.

Good place for a casual lunch. We went at lunchtime and it was relatively quiet with well-spaced seating. Food was good, with some gluten free options available.

Service was the worst I’ve had anywhere in years. Was laughable, especially as booked a table and couldn’t even get that right. Thankfully food was good.

The service was sooo bad. Waitress inattentive. Didn't take our order. Forgot our order and then refused to split our bill despite being the last people there.

We were celebrating my girlfriends 50th birthday and requested outdoor seating. Unclement weather meant we were seated inside with no ambience whatsoever. The hostess was rude and anything we asked for was met with a no we can’t do this . Really disappointed with the service and unwelcoming atmosphere. Never again !

The place is fine as I’ve been there before. But this time we booked a table online (as did others) and turned up to a closed restaurant on Boxing Day. Not sure what happened.

A nice place for a meal and a drink. Prices fair. Service was very friendly and good. Music tad load. Could do with some kids desert's.

Very disappointing experience last week. We've been there before and it had been great, so we'd always come back.
Something has changed and the service was terrible! Food was average and overpriced. Waited forever for service, and had to call out a few times. Eventually brought wrong drinks out! Seven very disappointed patrons, who won't be coming back, sadly..

Great time but the beef croquets were horrible. It was also really cold and the heaters did nothing in our section outdoor

Beautiful food and lovely restaurant. but the service was very poor. The restaurant had plenty of empty tables and we felt rushed out. We asked for another table but were told they were booked out even though most tables were empty. We got the opinion they didn’t want us there. The chefs were amazing. We really loved seeing them enjoy them self in the kitchen, singing and smiling. You can really see that in the food. Definitely can see the love in the food they produce.

Advised after ordering there was no seafood available at all so most at the table had to reorder. Seemed to be understaffed. Had to ask for a couple of things twice. Waited a long to to be asked for more drinks including water. Table next to us got food after us even though they ordered well before us. Food was nice but was expecting better overall experience.

Arrived during the lunchbreak and service could have been better

A very disappointing dining experience. One meal was forgotten and when it finally arrived was not minus the ham as requested. No staff came to our table to take drink orders despite us not being able to go to the bar. Meals were very average and staff untidy. We had a lovely experience at The Bay around 8 years ago but we won't be back. Staff should be more presentable and professional.

It was a busy night and there were only 2 staff on the floor. Bookings had to be made so they have known how many to expect, as a minimum. The person that greeted us was run off her feet and forgot that she had even seated us. Once we got someone to take our orders it was fine. Food was amazing - remember to take your appetite.

Tapas was great, service not the best but I guess they were busy.

Food was great, but very noisy as we were in the back section. The barman was under the pump as not enough staff. He did really well under pressure and still managed to keep a smile on his face. I would go there again for sure but not with the same noise but overall we enjoyed it.

Great place for a relaxing get together, meal, drink. Highly recommend

I was a little disappointed where we were seated - it was a bit of a thoroughfare. (So maybe don’t select “Hi Top Seating”🤔) But, the food is delicious and the service brilliant.

No mention was made that we were only allowed to be at the table for 90 minutes. Then we ordered, we waited for 45 minutes for our starters, which was served with the mains, and the food was cold. We were then told that we had less than 30 minutes to leave the table. The service was really bad and the attitude of 2 of the people we interacted with were terrible.
We were there to celebrate a birthday and had a bad experience all over. We will definitely not be making a booking again.

We ordered the Paella to share. Plenty of food for two, very tasty and well presented.

Claimed we never attended. Menu was not great for a light lunch - too heavy.
