Easter brunch was fabulous!

We love The Barn at Allenberry. We’ve never had a bad meal, the food is excellent! I would definitely recommend.

The service was prompt and polite. The food was absolutely outstanding. Both my wife and I got fish(trout and tuna) they were both cooked to perfection. The slightly spicy tuna was a perfect combo with their brussel sprout appetizer which had a coating of honey. The room was neat, but had super high ceiling which made you hear everything around you. They had fire pits you could enjoy either before or after your meal and a beautiful stream you can walk down to as well to enjoy.

Just out standing, Easter dinner was so good!!!!
All nine of it enjoyed it very much.

Great food and service

First our reservation was ignored and they sent us to "The Basement". After reseating the food was awful. What a shame for such a lovely place!!!!

Amazing food! Becca was our server and she was amazing! Such a great time! Can’t wait to go back!

It was our first time here and it did NOT disappoint. Everything from the cocktails, to the food...the music to our server were excellent.

We are already planning our return visit.

Can't wait for the weather to improve so we can enjoy more meals on the patio and take in some of the entertainment.

Food wasn’t anything special. Especially considering the prices. They seemed to not have my reservations set over a week prior and upon arrival, we were stuck in a poorly lit corner of the deck on metal patio furniture where we attempted to enjoy our drinks. They were not drinkable. The service was good but that was about it.

One of the best crab cakes I've ever eaten! Excellent selection of local microbrews and wonderful service!

Once again, we had an outstanding experience at Allenberry! We were celebrating a birthday and the hostess, server and kitchen staff created a wonderful experience for us. We can't wait to go back!

We enjoyed Sunday Brunch! Service from the hostess to the waitress and the bartender Lucas were on point, friendly, courteous and timely! The food was served warm, and tasty. We had a bacon cheeseburger, fries and the veggie of the day which was excellent .

The atmosphere and the view of the river were delightful on the first Sunday of Spring!

Ambience excellent. Service excellent. Even the hostess and bartender checked on us. Menu was very limited. 6 entrees, 2 specials and 4 out of 8 were seafood dishes. I’d like to see some more variety. I did not get to pick my own sides. Also, for the price I’d like to have a salad or even fresh bread included.

I might be back for drinks to sit outside, but would have liked a little more bang for my buck.

The food wad prepared excellent, Medium rare steak was perfect and the Crab Cake delicious paired with incredible asparagus! Service was spot on as usual...

A very enjoyable dining experience at The Barn. Brussels Sprouts were the best we’ve ever had! The Old Crockett on the drink menu was outstanding. Cinnamon Bun for dessert was excellent. Nice ambiance and great service. We’ll be back!

Called to add 2 people to our 5 pm reservation making the reservation for 4 guests total. I was told it was impossible to accommodate even if we switched times. It was our anniversary. I asked if there was not a way to add 2 extra seats to our table and was told no availability at all. No sorry, no apology, just blunt and unprofessional.
I asked to speak to manager. Heather got on the phone and asked how long we needed.....I didn’t understand the question. She said “can you be out by 7 pm”....she needed our table at 7........
I was astonished. I told her I felt we would easily be done by then (as long as the food came out in a timely manner and service was good). I found it incredibly unprofessional that any of this would be handled in this manner.
I have been an event planner for over 20 years, including many events at Allenberry over the years. I would never recommend to a client again considering the rudeness and lack of concern that was shown for a special event in our lives. A simple apology for the inconvenience and treating guests with general care , respect and kindness was all that was needed to turn a poor phone call into an opportunity for repeat business. Sadly, this was lacking.
The food was excellent and our server did a fantastic job. We were done by 6:30 so they had plenty of time to hustle in their next guests.

I do not enjoy sitting in the lower level indoors. Prefer the upstairs and happy to even sit at the bar.

The waitress seemed overly tasked. Otherwise, food, wine, and dessert were outstanding.

The Barn is the gift that just keeps giving. Efficient and friendly service coupled with delicious food in a casual, yet elegant, atmosphere combine to create a wonderful dining experience. A family favorite!

Wonderful food and service. Ambiance was not quite as nice as the food or seevoce but that's ok! Staff are amazing.

Lovely location and food was great! Service on the other hand was a little weak. The Waitress visited us once during the entire meal. My husband’s meal was missing the scrambled eggs and we had to flag another waitress for service, ask for
More water and a coffee. No apology was offered nor even an acknowledgment.

Overall it was a good experience and worth paying a visit.

Our recent visit at The Barn at Allenberry Resort was a great success. The booking was easy, the service was excellent and professional, and the food was a real treat. We will definitely go there again.

How delightful to enjoy the beautiful day on the porch overseeing the fisherman in a prestigious creek .

We went last Saturday for a birthday party. Strip steak was so good we went the next Saturday. Had the tenderloin. So good! Someone knows how to make a medium rare steak! The appetizer Brussels sprouts were out of this world. Split it. It’s huge!

Ordered lamb chops medium rare. Had to send them back twice due to being way too rare. But, brought them home, cut them up and had them for lunch the next day. No biggie and i will go back.

This was our 5th time there and it was the worst. Waited 30 mins to get our order. Took another 45 to get out food. Ordered dessert and it took 25 mins to get a slice of cake. The table next to ours with a different server ordered the same dessert and they got theirs in about 5 minutes. Then we had to ask for the check. Then we had to track our server down to have her process our payment. Tables that were seated after we sat down were finished, bussed and reseat and had their entrees. I get there are off nights but it will be a long time before we give it another chance.

We where seated right away. Food was amazing and right on time. We enjoyed the music that was being played in the other room. Not to load, just right. All four of us would go and will go back very soon. Thank you Heather!

We enjoyed a wonderful celebratory birthday dinner. Servers were polite and made us feel very safe dining out during these usual times. And the meal was absolutely delicious. The brussel sprouts were especially fabulous!

We love The Barn. The food is delicious, service is outstanding and we will definitely return soon.
