The Balcony Las Olas
It was a pleasure to meet Paige. She was our Server and we just loved her positive, bubbly personality and always smiling. I work as a Store Manager and I was very impressed that she was very kind, patient, and excellent with suggestions. Kudos to her for knowing how to assist patrons and make sure they are enjoying their time at The Balcony.
We had a great time, Emily took amazing care of us!
Went because advertised live music. There was no live music that night. My husband had the steak which he said was good. My fish was not properly cooked. Threw me off. Maybe was a wrong night
Our service was amazing the girls who served us did a very good job in making sure we always had our cups full and the food came out quick my friends and I are definitely going back soon
Perfect spot for brunch! Although it was pouring rain, we sat at rooftop balcony bar and loved it! Bar tender/waiter was great and attentive! Definitely recommend!
Ridiculous experience with all things related to liquor. Last time I was here it was a service issue. We left after 2 appetizers and some cocktails for $220.
Shared experience on Yelp.
Won’t return a 3rd time. That’s sad because I love the food but both experiences were just absurd in different ways.
It was great. We came at a not busy time but was great. We chatted while waiting and the food was great! I put a note to see if they could do a cake for congratulations as my son is graduating high school. They did one better and put the words on a plate with a cup of beignets with a candle! I would recommend going there. The late night on the balcony is so fun!
The balcony was very helpful with accommodating our large group of 12 friends. They assigned us 2 waitresses who ensured our glasses were full and that we had everything we needed. They had good food and a great atmosphere!
My server was great. And our food came out really fast . The restraint and the ambiance was GREAT. Also. They gave us a free dessert and it was to die for. I will definitely be going back.
Great Ambiance! Food was great!
We chose the Balcony for the music vibe and atmosphere. DEFinitely lives up to that aspect! Enjoyed the decor, the live band was awesome!
Our server was very nice, gracious and pleasant. We had the Galliet House breakfast. It was a decent portion but for $16 each, we could have had two portions at a breakfast place. The portion of scrambled eggs truly looked pitiful. The food was cooked well and tasted good but I believed a price point of $10-$12 would have been more in line with the actual portion of food. Especially for brunch, as it was plated. Thankfully I wasn’t starving but fair warning, if your preference to start your day with a decent size breakfast, this is average size. Don’t come here starving.
The restaurant is a great addition to that area with the upstairs open air bar balcony. I’m certain it’s fantastic at night! It was clean and well kept and well appointed.
I would go back for dinner, different menu and different value proposition.
We really enjoyed our visit to the Balcony. We went to see the Breeze classic rock band, which was great. We got there early for dinner. Our waiter was very attentive and friendly. We started with Caesar salad and gumbo, which were delicious. We ordered salmon for dinner, and it was exceptional! We loved everything about the restaurant, although it was pricey.
We were there on a quiet Monday, but the service was very good and the food was exceptional. Everyone in the party said they would definitely come back. The upstairs balcony was getting quite festive once we were leaving for the evening.
It was a Awesome experience! The restaurant is beautiful and the service is great. I will be back to enjoy with my husband.
Another party was greeted and seated before us when we were standing at the hostess table before them. Once we made that aware to the hostess she just said "I'll be right with you".
Food was ok. Music was good. Waitress service was average at best.
The food is bland.
We were a little disappointed as the music that we came to see was not playing during the week any longer. Friday and Sat only. Food was OK but the crab cakes were made to fine for my liking. The coconut shrimp were excellent.
Loved the experience! Would love to sit closer to the music next time. They were great! Keep singing Lauryn hill
Great service. Great food. Nice place for brunch with outdoor patio. Would definitely go again.
The Balcony is a great spot. Been there several times before but first time sitting downstairs for brunch. Definitely a place to explore either in the day or in the evening.
made reservation for noon. arrived at restaurant, it was closed
Great place for cajun inspired menus! The live band was awesome. Can get very warm though...
This was our first and last time there. The food was just good. The price was way out of line for the food we ate. I would not recommend this place
Nice place, and the food was good. They had a big party in the upstairs area, but you would not have know it from the bottom floor. Overall, at the time, it was party place upstairs and quite at the bottom, with very good food and service.
It was our first time there. We went for Sunday Brunch. We sat upstairs. Vince took great care of us. He explained the menu and made suggestions. My husband had the Coconut Crusted French Toast with Pineapple compote, which he loved. I had a dozen oysters and the seasonal berry crepes. Can’t forget the bottomless Mimosas🍾
Lunch was very good and service was excellent.
The Ahi Tuna is delicious
Great Food, Fun & Service! We will definitely go back the next time we are in FLL and check out their Sunday brunch.
Our server was great, the food was wonderful and the atmosphere was fine and a great way to do brunch.
I thought it would be more upscale than it actually was. I guess I had expectations that were not lived up to. The food and service were ok...
I came here for my birthday and I actually had very high expectations after all the good reviews I read on Google, but I was slightly dissatisfied. First off, this was the emptiest restaurant on Las Olas on a Sunday night at 7 PM, which threw me off a bit. I knew the prices were a bit high from looking at the online menu, but WOW is it overpriced for the amount of food you are served. I ordered the grilled salmon. It came on a massive plate with literally 5 slices (probably less than 1/4" thick) of potatoes and only about 4 brussel sprouts. $28. What?!? I was still hungry after I finished the entire dish. I had to pick off of a relative's plate. Don't get me wrong, the food itself was delicious (the only reason I'm giving 2 stars,) but insanely overpriced. All of our dishes were extremely small for what we paid. Don't think I'll be coming here again.
This was our first experience at this relatively new restaurant. We loved it. Our waiter, Adam, was terrific. The food came out quickly and perfectly. We'll go back -- especially on a nite they have music. (They didn't have music on Monday.)
We had a great time at the Balcony and the overall experience was enhanced even more by the wonderful service of our server, Emily. It was our first time there and Emily was very delightful and helpful in making food and drink suggestions. She was also very engaging and attentive. We would definitely go back!
I LOVED the atmosphere....everyone was kind. The bartenders, waiters, hostess this was my first time there but I will definitely be back again. Oh and the music was bomb!!
We could not eat the gumbo, and sent it back and got jambalaya and corn chowder. We could not eat the jambalaya either in the corn chowder was called. But they comped the whole meal so that was very good.
Food was great and we really enjoy the music. This was our 3rd time there and we will continue to go because we love the food and live music.
We were looking for a good brunch place to add to our rotation but the balcony will not be it. We like the New Orleans theme but that’s about all this place has. Listening to hip hop music over the top of a band warming up to play was terrible. Pre mixed mimosas were just the start of a bad brunch. I made reservations for a “good table” and we were sat down against an open window with nothing to look at except a Jewish community center across the street. Haha. We really didn’t even make it 20feeg into the restaurant. Weren’t told about the upstairs section and not even offered a booth in the middle of the restaurant with no other customers in the place. The New Orleans theme was cute but barely offered any New Orleans style cuisine. No chargrilled oysters? Really? No shrimp in grits? The fried green tomatoes were terrible. And we had to ask about beneights cause they were not on the menu. We had a quick bite and went next door to Rocos tacos. Much better. And our tab for 2 people was 100$ for food we didn’t even eat or like. We will not be back. Bokamper will be hearing about our visit next time I see him in the neighborhood.
Again, great food & good service. Be very specific in your reservations where you want to sit - upstairs, downstairs, inside or outside. We prefer downstairs, inside, let that be know in our reservations and called 2 days ahead to confirm, no problem. Once before, we didn’t, and they couldn’t change that they put us upstairs.
