The Andover Arms
We have pride in serving great pints brewed a mile away by Fullers, the family-run London institution and staff will happily suggest from a wide range of wines for drinking or to accompany a meal. We’ve games, Jazz, blues and soul alongside occasional live music (usually renowned regulars) to help while away relaxed hours.
A proper pub with proper food; a welcome return.
Roasts just ok . Not amazing . Service friendly but slow and forgetful . Won’t be going back
Off the beaten track, this little pub is lovely! Friendly service and really delicious food, I’d recommend a visit if you’re in the area and looking for a great meal. The atmosphere was chatty and relaxed. I’d highly recommend the risotto!
We really enjoyed our Sunday lunch at the restaurant. Food was excellent and good atmosphere
As usual the food and service is good. Very fortunate to live a stone’s throw from this lovely pub. My only disappointment was the brownie pudding which was too bitter and covered with a floppy sauce. Our fish pies were perfect and we enjoyed a great table beside the roaring fire.
Good food and a very relaxed atmosphere. I always try to visit when in London
My wife and I had a wonderful dinner at the Andover Arms. Difficult to believe pubs like this still exist. Friendly, great drinks and really good food menu. And service was first class. A real old-style pub in a lovely little west London village. We'll be back!
Great place. Much recommended. I would advice going here.
Very cold inside the pub so we were absolutely frozen, but the food was excellent
It was another lovely lunch sitting by the fire, super food and service.
As good as every time I come to London, my first choice for an english meal, with their outstanding lamb.
I absolutely recomend this pub at Hammersmith.
Fantastic food in a cosy, neighbourhood pub. The service is always friendly. We had roasts and they were fantastic. Fresh veg perfect Yorkshires, and extra gravy when we asked. We will definitely be back with friends.
The roast beef was good, the gravy and yorkshire pudd was a little anemic, but given how busy they were I will forgive that.
The risotto on the other hand was one of the best I have had anywhere in the world, really well seasoned, interesting and delicious.
Overall, definitely worth going again
We sat in front of the blazing fire on a very cold and drizzling day. It was the perfect setting for us and set the start of a lovely few hours at the Andover Arms. The food was delicious and lived up to the reviews left by other people.
I can’t get enough of the Andover Arms! It’s my local and I’m so very happy about that. It’s always full of interesting characters (on this particular night, an excellent accordion player) the service is always friendly and the food is always excellent. I had the tuna steak this time, cooked to perfection and accompanied by a crab potato salad, sublime! Will of course be back, again and again!
This is a great pub! The one we went to on Earl's Court the following day pales in comparison!
It's a quite nice little pub in the heart of Hammersmith.
I've been very happy to dine there with friends: the environment is nice and the food is tasty.
The waiter accommodated all our requests, also splitting the fish and chips in two plates for the children and giving us kilogrammes of lemon!
The only minus is the cleanliness of the table that was just in line with English pub's standard, i.e. sticky and dirty...
However, is definitively a nice place where to have a beer and a dinner with friends!
Locale veramente molto intimo, appena si entra si é accolti dal proprietario molto simpatico , il cibo é di buona qualità, verament buono il brownie servito col gelato :) Super consigliato!
Lovely pub in great location. Friendly staff, great food. 3 generations in our group including a vegetarian and all agreed it was a fabulous dinner. Would certainly hope to visit again.
Nice pub doing great Sunday lunch in a lovely little part of London
Amazing roast. Huge portions. The roast lamb was falling of the bone. Even better was the friendly welcome and outstanding service.Unusual in London these days. Would recommend if you love a good home style cooked roast.
Yummy food, great choice of wines and really friendly and attentive staff. The furniture was a little tired but think that’s part of the vibe. We went on a Saturday just before a show at the Apollo and thought it would be super busy but it wasn’t. Would recommend and go again if you’re after good food and friendly staff in a quiet surrounding.
Wholeheartedly recommend that you visit this lovely pub for a meal- certainly among the very vest of pub food I've tasted. What made the food particularly good wasn't a flashy menu, but a classic menu very well cooked. The service was great, with attentive staff who rounded off the experience nicely. Take a trip to the Andover Arms and I'm confident you'll not regret it.
Our favorite pub! Love the fish and chips!
Got a hearty welcome from the barman on arrival and was well looked after thereafter. Food was excellent and generous. A very laid back atmosphere. My father, who we had taken out for an early ‘Father’s Day’ dinner, was absolutely delighted.
Very nice and knowledgeable staff, great variety of food within just a couple of dishes, nice atmosphere with a good mix restaurant and pub. Very much recommended!
It was a very plaisure : thé welcome, food are excellent, ...
All perfect !!
Lovely Sunday lunch. Could’ve had more veg and puddings not hot enough for my liking but meat, atmosphere and service were excellent
Good food and beer in a traditional atmosphere. We had dinner two consecutive nights and tried several options from the menu. All of them where above the average or simply outstanding. As a foreigner I found that London Pride beer from Fuller's really tasty and optimally served. If we come by in the future we will surely repeat the experience.
We’re never disappointed at the Andover, a local gem! I had the baked salmon with potato rosti and samphire. It was a touch too oily but still utterly delicious so I haven’t removed any stars! Service is always delightful and the pub is always busy giving it a nice buzz - make sure you book in advance as it’s usually full, even on weekdays. So pleased I only live a minute away!
Went with friends on Monday 1st April food was average for this pub and felt very it was very over priced. I wouldn’t recommend it.
One of the best place i have ever been to. Both food and service were excellent, i took a thai green chincken and prowns (the best i have ever had) and my friend a classic hamburger.
I love this place so much...which is lucky as it’s my local! We always have fantastic food and the service is second to none. Well done guys for consistently being excellent!
New management very friendly. Food always excellent.
Friendly and efficient staff. Lovely Sunday lunch atmosphere with families enjoying the food. Very generous and tasty Sunday roast.
Very quaint neighborhood pub with good food and service. Thank you.
The Andover arms is an excellent local pub with a great food menu and and great selection of beers and wines. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I had made a mistake in the reservation and we were 2 more people than expected. The staff helped us and managed to secure a table for us though the place was fully booked.
One word, perfect!! And I'm an Italian chef plate tasty
We arrived on time, they showed us a table which is too small for two people even no room for chairs! Wanted to talk to manager, he or she didn’t showed up and waiter says sorry no table for you tonight? Rude!
Lovely Sunday lunch
