That's Amore - Seattle
Since our visit to That's Amore's two nights ago, I have recommended it to 6 friends as a must try. We had a family birthday party there, the staff was beyond friendly and helpful, even when we had last minute additions to our party and they were full. The food was just delicious, the view of downtown Seattle was very cool, and pricing was reasonable. But again, the food... Wow! We all can't wait to get back.
Very friendly service and great food and beverages.
Service and food selection was on point.
We've always liked That's Amore but hadn't been in awhile. The food was fantastic- even better than we remembered! Can't wait to go back soon!
Yummy and great service
Our server was very nice, but the food wasn't very good. Two of us had the broccolini and it was so tough that it couldn't be chewed through or easily cut through. My partner had the elk and it wasn't good.
Wine was good.
Always reliably fantastic. It was a treat to bring my out of town family to one of my favorite restaurants
Lovely restaurant. Food was good, service was excellent!
My wife and I don’t live nearby anymore, so we mostly go once or twice a year for birthdays or anniversaries. But, as always, the food is delicious, the wine list is well chosen, and the waitstaff is very friendly and attentive. And the view of Seattle from the dining room is killer.
I had the elk shoulder with butternut risotto (which was excellent!) instead of my usual Wild Boar Ragú (I love this meal). The lasagna is very good—hearty, tasty, and lots of it. And pretty much every meal I’ve had there has been very good.
The dining room is not the largest, so parties of more than 4 can sometimes feel a little cramped, but there are a couple places in the dining room where they can manage it well.
I would wholeheartedly recommend—except I don’t want too many more people crowding my favorite restaurant. So maybe just go the other 363 days of the year when I’m not there just to keep them busy and in business.
The food was amazing and the service was lovely. Also appreciated the owner’s help with the birthday acknowledgment :-)
Anniversary dinner, with the best view in Seattle.
Food was decent but nothing earth shattering. Service was great and amazing view.
Great food and service with a beautiful view. Long-standing favorite in town.
We were fortunate to get the window in the back with the view of downtown Seattle... wow, what a great night for a sunset.
The food was terrific. Not just a standard fare either, the specials were really special and unique.
Had a wonderful dinner with a beautiful view of the city, sound and mountains. The staff were great. Just a great evening. We’ll be back soon!
The service was awesome, the wait staff had an appetizer customized by the chef to remove something that my wife didn't like. The appetizers and salads were awesome. We were split on the entrees. I enjoyed my more traditional Italian dish with Risotto, but my wife did not like the dish with Saffron she ordered. This is however a matter of personal preference and does not reflect on the quality of service or food overall.
Great restaurant okay date
The view out of the back windows is a beautiful secret! Sunset is seen across Puget Sound with downtown in the foreground.
The noise is a bit much with all the tables full but it’s a nice and lively local dining experience.
The owner circulates and makes everyone feel welcome and special.
The chef’s specials are a nice variety added to the menu and never seem to miss the mark.
We were a little late for our reservation, but they were very understanding. They had allowed 2 hours for our table so we had no problem leaving before their next reservation.
The food was very good as it was the last time we were there. Service was great and they checked back regularly to make sure we were happy with everything. We highly recommend this restaurant.
The food and service were excellent! The kitchen was also able to accommodate my wife’s wheat allergy. Definitely on the list for repeat restaurants!
What a surprise! We came here to celebrate a birthday and it was perfect. Its not a big place but in a wonderful neighborhood spot with a great view of Seattle. We were fortunate to be able to have a table with a view and the service was excellent. The owner even came over to say hi. The food was incredible!!! I have not had such great tasting Italian food like this in years. It was better than homemade. Overall, I would recommend Thats Amore to anyone who loves excellent food, enjoys a small intimate restaurant in a local neighborhood, and great service from the owner to the waitstaff. No doubt, a great find with good food and price!
This is a cozy neighborhood restaurant. The atmosphere is quite relaxing. The servers are very friendly and can easily customize your order if needed. The food is great, delicious but not too rich. We always leave quite full.
A cheerful neighborhood place with a fine view of the downtown Seattle skyline from an unusual angle. As the name suggests, Italian food is a speciality. The dishes we have had (in two visits) have been excellent - interesting and attractive, plus tasting good.
Great neighborhood Italian restaurant. It's been a while since we've been here but the simplified menu is very nice. We had the Mistra, Chicken Scallopini, Risotto Floretine, Prawn Puttanesca, and Melanzane Grigliate (Eggplant) dishes. Everything was perfect with the exception of the some uncooked parts of the eggplant dish. We would return in a heartbeat. The staff was very accommodating; listening to our requests and always had our water glassed filled. It was a busy evening with the restaurant virtually packed. Great ambiance and can't wait until our next visit. We've been coming for the past 12 years!
A real find! In town on vacation and found this as an option looking through the map on OpenTable. So, so glad we went there. Such a great evening!
Happy to say I've come here through 3 owners and the food and service have remained consistently excellent. This is my go-to restaurant for an intimate table for 2 or a rowdy family birthday celebration. The service is always among the very best. The menu is never stagnant yet maintains a good mix of fresh, innovative and traditional choices. Writing this review even as I make another reservation.
Wonderful food and service. Canolli were the best
We had the best meal at That’s Amore! The chicken picatta was especially wonderful- and their bruschetta is not to be missed!
The owners are so welcoming and provide wonderful customer service. The food is so tasty and it is a favorite go to for dinner with friends and family!!
Not only would we recommend THAT'S AMORE to a friend, we take them there. As usual, an outstanding dining experience. We visit our son at least once a year and always have at least one dinner at THAT'S AMORE. This time, we also took some friends who also happened to be vacationing in the Northwest. The staff was able to accommodate our request for a window table, so in addition to the dining experience, we had a fabulous view of the Seattle skyline as the sun set behind the Olympics.
Excellent service and delicious food! A real neighborhood restaurant vibe with engaged owners.
One of my favorite Seattle restaurants! Xoxoxoxoxoxo
Great view, good food, friendly service. It's a neighbourhood classic!
we go to That's Amore for almost every special occasion dinner.
We always love this place. At this time of the year, end of July, at 7:00 it is still too bright to really enjoy the GREAT view that is always there.
Birthday dinner with friends. Staff and service were exceptional and the food was, as usual, superb.
Great food, friendly and attentive staff, a wonderful evening.
We found this neighborhood gem almost by accident. We we in an Airbnb nearby. I noticed it on a map app. It was great, would go back anytime. Great food and service. Got to talk with one of the owners, very friendly and helpful.
Limited food if one does not eat carbs.
After a long road trip with family including 5 & 7 year old boys, we made last minute reservations and came a little bit early. We were seated right away and had a wonderful server (Dylan) who was so helpful with the boys. The halibut special was fabulous, the New York (med rare) was cooked perfectly. Everything was delicious. Recommend for any occasion. Wish we lived closer.
I love That’s Amore. Four of us gathered for delicious food and wine and one another’s company. We were seated at a table with a fabulous view of the city and sound. Three of us chose the same entree: tagliatelle with chicken piccata. It was delicious as was the caprese appetizer we shared and the decadent chocolate cake. Our service was perfect: friendly yet not intrusive. Great neighborhood restaurant with a friendly vibe.
