Been here several times. Recommended.
Good thai food in handy location.
Great food. Service a little slow.
Food was excellent, best Pad Thai I’ve had in a while. However the service needs to be improved customer service is definitely slacking. I believe waitstaff needs to acknowledge their guest instead of walking off when someone is talking to someone. When I had asked for a recommendation on the wine I felt as if the waiter thought what I was asking was a stupid question. Like I said the food is GREAT ! However if the service was better it would have been 5stars.
The food is always fresh, the restaurant itself is lovely and quiet (with very nice bathrooms!) and always good service.
We've gone there numerous times and were always really pleased with our meal.
The food was great 👍 would definitely recommend.
Been here three times in the last few months - and quite often before - because it's usually good. The starers were good- the drinks were cold. But this time they could not get the main dishes to our table hot and found it impossible to reheat them thoroughly when asked, twice. They did cancel some charges voluntarily so it seems a bit harsh to complain, but it wasn't the meal we wanted or expected.
They probably didn't expect so many customers that night so maybe didn't have enough staff on duty Nice room, pleasant staff but congealing lukewarm-ish Thai curries are not what you go here to eat. They should only book out the tables they can cater for.
It was nice to be back at Thai Square again. Enjoyed it.
It was a total of 80 quid but really worth it ! The food was great ! The squid as well as the sea bass and the prawns were just excellent really
Will be back
Our server was really kind and smiley
The food was very nice and tasty however; it was a bit rushed. We were still eating the starters when the mains came out. We had sat down at 6.30 and were on our mains by 6.55.
Thanks to opentable...I can find asian restaurant at the last minutes
I visited with my friend for dinner. The food was lovely and the atmosphere was also comfortable and casual.
Good food, service and very clean. Little pricy for what it was but all good otherwise
Excellent food & good service but quite pricey. No atmosphere mainly due to social distancing & few diners
Decided to try the Islington branch of Thai Garden, it didn’t disappoint. The food was excellent, it was hot and served in a timely manner. The staff were readily available to meet your needs.
Service not great and value for money is poor.
Amazing food. Great friendly service.
Great food and service - Red Thai and Penang curries were delicious.

The lunch menu is excellent value. Nice venue with nice service.
This was the worst experience ever. Order the two course special offer before 7pm. Portions were small. The main dish turned up cold. We returned the dish and waited for a while before they returned our mains. Arrived cold again. The third time we received the food it was pipping hot but we were waiting a long time in the restaurant. Apple, assistant manager, was rude. She spoke to us as though we were complaining for nothing. She came over and said, "are you happy now" in a hostile tone. After we had our mains and the plates were taken away, the waitress immediately gave us the desert menu. We were planning to order another drink but because of the rudeness of the staff we decided we wanted to leave and catch a drink somewhere else. We received the bill and discussed our experience with Apple. She said that she doesn't care and that no discount of the bill would be given because we had eaten the food. We explained that our evening had been ruined. She said she didn't care and wasn't interested if were we would write a bad review as they are a big company and our review wouldn't make a difference to them as they have restaurants everywhere. The attitude was terrible. No customer service. Very unprofessional.
Nice atmosphere + good food and drinks!
Great authentic thai food with friendly service. For something different try the tamarind duck, really tender, tastes great.
The service took forever. Each time we asked for water we had to follow up a couple of times. The food came very quickly though
Lovely food and service
Food was really good but the problem was you felt rushed to order main meal. We had a few starters and wanted to relax and have a min before ordering main meal. Staff keep looking to see if we had finished and kept coming over we felt that they wanted us to eat fast and go. It was a shame as the food was very nice.
Tables are so close together it was abit off putting. But the food and was amazing and so where the staff
Pad Thai was delicious as usual.
Service left a lot to be desired...
Thai Sq. Islington is really a lovely dining experience. The food is so tasteful and beautifully presented. The staff were amazing and so very polite. The early bird menu is great. I can't fault it. I have tried all the start let's and mains. I can't choose a favourite. Always a delight coming to this restaurant.
Terrible corn cakes... Refried. Portions were very small. We have been to the flagship Trafalgar Square branch and it is much better.
Another return visit to this restaurant. Never let's me down. Mother's Day meal which went down a treat. Thank you
Excellent food, staff are lovely and ambience is beautiful. Took my mum and son here for mother’s day and staff were very attentive and made sure we was happy with everything will definitely be coming back as food tasted beautiful even my fussy 7 yeR old enjoyed
Great Thai food. Good spot for meeting up in London
We had the Thai green curry dish which was beyond expectation. Everything we had was delicious. We were served immediately and the atmosphere overall was very good
Our 5th time back here, favourite Thai in London. Food compares to some of the best in the West End, only the portions are bigger and you get better value at Thai Square. Couldn’t recommend it more!
The service wasn't great. Food is ok but nothing absolutely fantastic. It's not worth the value.
The food was tasty and the decor very pleasant indeed with lots of indoor vegetation. If you've been to an upmarket Thai resort before, you'd probably agree their washrooms wouldn't look out of place there either! A pleasant lunch experience.
The staff was pleasant, service attentive and the food quickly served and tasty. Tamarind duck. Perfect. What’s not to like? I had a very good evening.
As an aside,I started with an Old Fashioned cocktail. Even that was great. Never before had it served under a glass dome of smoke. I was impressed.
I left the same feedback on Tripadvisor...
I thought the food was very good - fresh, nicely spiced, well-prepared. The staff were wholly unable to help (or even try to help) with the Wi-fi, which wasn’t working. We were slightly overcharged on the bill (about £3); I didn’t quibble, as I didn’t want a complaint to be the way the evening ended for my guests. Despite that, though, I’d go again.
I have been few times now, the food is alright, as expected of restaurant chain. The service is just bad, it probably takes another year before I go back
Food was excellent
Had the lunch special with a Japanese egg added - which was odd and dud the really work but it was all pretty good and pretty good value.
