TGI FRIDAYS - Woodbury
Sadly if you want to sit there for an hour half after ordering and being forgotten about this is the place for you. Serving you kids size meal for adult sizes lukewarm. Appetizer went to another table wasn't til we asked where our appetizer is we've been sitting here for so long did they even realize that. Waitress never came back to check on us or refill our waters. Place was not busy at all yet the excuse for our hour and half wait for food is the kitchen is slammed. The sizzling chicken and shrimp consisted of one thin chicken breast cut in half and 5 or 6 small size white colored shrimp that belongs in a taco not sizzling; size of your pinky. When they asked us how the meal was and we told them the mgr just argued about it made excuses and took $10 off. Place is a rip off unfortunately... these are in no way adult size serving meals.
This restaurant is terrible. Me and 3 other people were there for lunch at 3. The drinks took forever to come. My friend ordered an appetizer which came out 30 minutes later. The food had no taste whatsoever. My other friend got the wrong side dish. Mind you the restaurant wasn't busy at all. We left around 530 which was dinner time. Overall bad experience.
Always good food, many choices. Always a pleaser.
Friday's, next to Woodberry Commons, never disappoints. Our server, Emily, and even the manager, Alex, were wonderful, always checking if everything was good or even if we needed anything else. I had a delicious chicken and shrimp dish, w side salad; my husband loved his entree, salad and appetizer and our son had a rolled whiskey chicken sandwich, used to be called Jack Daneils grilled chicken. He had appetizer oe sesame chicken strips and a salad. We all got diverse dishes and exactly what we wanted. As "stripes member" we get free chips and dips every time we go. All you have to do is sign up. We really, really like Fridays, esp this location.
This Friday’s was not up to the usual standards of most. We saw our server when she took our drink and beverage orders, never brought water we requested, when she brought our food and drinks and when she brought our check and change. Asked every time for a glass of water never got it. This server can’t multi task and should probably find another profession
Turkey, Avocado and Bacon Sandwhich was very good!!
Service was great! Food was very good!
We always enjoy eating here. There are many food choices; I ordered a Cobb salad w grilled salmon and my husband ordered traditional pub food. As we go to Friday's alot, we got a free entree this time (we accumulate points through "give me more stripes", ask about it) When we show our "stripes card" we always get free tacco chips and salsa (delicious) before the meal. My grown kids and little grandkids love it here, also, because of the wide variety of food choices. We have always walked away very satisfied, plus quick seating when making reservations through Open Table (otherwise you can have a long wait, depending on the time you get there)
I had a salmon Cesar salad. The salad was good but not worth the money in terms of serving size. There was no depth to the salad.
Food was good.
Services was great!
I had the salmon with rice and spinach. The dish was very good but the spinach was outstanding . The waiter was very attentive and professional.
FRIDAYS is a go to place when people want differing food items. We had our son accompany us and we got thee totally different appetizers, entrees, drinks, etc. We were all satisfied w our food choices. We go here quite often and accumulate points for free entrees and/ or 20% off entire bill. This is esp nice when we go w a big group and pick up entire bill. Because I make reservation on Open Table I teally never have to wait to be seated. Our young grandkids absolutely love the food and the unique dessert, I think its called dirt pie or,something like that, w ice cream, gummy worms, and oriole cookies crumbs to rep dirt!
