TGI FRIDAYS - Parsippany
I used to come to this TGI Fridays fairly often and liked it. After not having been here for a while, my wife and I went. What a mistake! the place was 75% empty on a Wednesday at 6:30 PM - at time when it used to be not unusual to have to wait for a table. That should have told me something. First, the service was horrible - the time it took to get water, chips, our order taken was ridiculous given the place was empty. My drink - a Mojito - was terrible; luckily it was fairly cheap, but the worst Mojito I have ever had. My meal was mediocre at best - salmon and steak. I ordered the steak medium rare - it came medium well and was tasteless. The "crispy Brussels Sprouts" were anything but, and they were swimming in a soy vinaigrette with big bread crumbs and cheese - none of which was in the description of the sides on the menu. They were horrible. Needless to say, I won't be returning. Fridays has certainly gone down hill the last few years.
This location really has gone down hill. Was empty on a Saturday night
Excellent service with a smile. The staff was really welcoming.
There service was down so I could not get my points. I asked for well done burger it came back rare and the server was rude
Food was fine but service, even better.
Started at bar where was told cant make drink li ice tea as i don't have liquor. Food was horrible we ordered burgers well done and they came out half raw. How do you serve a rate burger when specifically told hockey puck well done? Don't recommend this place at all.
Even with the reservations, we were unable to get a table because according to the manager, the "kitchen was too backed up". The entire right side of the restaurant was closed off. In the 5 minutes we were there waiting for an explanation, they turned away over 20 customers and more were parking as we left. I asked her to notify Open Table and also put a notice on their website so people stop wasting their time driving all the way there only to find out they were understaffed and not seating anyone.
