Service was a little slow although there wasn't much people dining, seems we got there too late as there wasn't too much food options from the salad bar as they said they didn't make much because they are closing down (dec 6) is what we were told. Also the meat did not taste as fresh as when they would come around and cut it for you on your plate, we understand there's a pandemic and look forward to coming back once everything goes back to normal.

The meats were really good. The hot sides were barely warm. Our waiter seemed distracted and rushed. He forgot our salads and bread, and I received the wrong drink. It didn’t seem like he was paying attention to our orders.

In this time of ours it waas a nice distraction to actually dine indoors. Miss the meat presentation however, but they do everything they can to see to it that you get served the meat of your choice as quickly as possible! Texas de Brazil never disappoints!

Food and customer service was nothing less than excellent. It is not your traditional sit down restaurant experience but if you are open minded, you will definitely love it.

As a repeat customer to your restaurant, I will say that until all Covid restrictions have lifted, I will not be returning.

The feel and ambiance was not there and cannot recommend until all restrictions are lifted.

All employees were kind, helpful & seems happy to be there. A little more expensive than I’d prefer. Everything was good. Would have been great if I could order meats less than well done, but that’s not the restaurant’s fault. (Pregnant.) Loved the Brazilian cheese bread.

This will probably be an unfair review because I am sure the pandemic has really affected what this restaurant can do. The meat was very good and all served at the correct temperatures. However the sides all can out too late or didn’t come at all. When we mentioned it to our server she admitted they went to another table and we got them late. The dessert cake was delicious and overall the experience was ok. Kind of miss the “meat on parade” in churrasco style restaurants.

This restaurant is very nice. The food is top quality and the service is perfect. Everyone is friendly.
It’s a bit pricey for what you can actually eat though. It’s not a typical restaurant however and definitely worth a visit. I would highly recommend going on an empty stomach and not overloading in the carbs so you have more room for the meats they will bring to you.

Miss the meat on the skewers and the buffet style salad bar, however, they've done the best they could given the current circumstances with Covid restrictions. Food is still good overall and our server, Jessica, was great!

This is such a hard time to work in a restaurant, but Texas de Brazil made some lemonade out of lemons and took good care of us. Gone were the meat skewers and buffets, but management and staff came up with decent enough alternatives, bringing specific slices of meat by request, and plating buffet items via a filled-out buck slip. Portions were generous and appropriate in each case. And every server who came by the table was eager to please. My only gripe was that they wouldn't allow us to pack the couple remaining pieces of beef to go, citing regulations (although I hadn't run into this issue before in any recent restaurant experience). I hope we can get back to the original format soon, but this won't keep me away.

Father’s Day here wasn’t bad with a slight wait even though we had reservations. Due to the pandemic we can’t go to the salad bar or have the roving meat chefs cut down pieces of food at our table so a few lost stars for the whole experience being minimized. Food was good and service was good too!

Bottom line: we will not be going back to Texas de Brazil for the foreseeable future. If you go; plan for a long wait and to be disappointed. You will pay for a meat dinner and get a very expensive salad bar.

I knew that the days of service at the table were gone. The management just doesn’t have the new reality figured out. The waiter was doing his best and you could tell he was frustrated as well.
This is a hard review to write because I liked the old Texas.

Let’s talk details.
Our waiter came right over and explained that this is a different experience. He took our drink order and explained the salad bar checklist. The comedy of errors now started. The bartender was too busy handling take out orders to make drinks for restaurant patrons. 25 minutes laters we finally got our drinks. The waiter delivered our salad which he had to make, while also serving other tables. He also asked how we would like our meats cooked. After 40 minutes we finally got our first plate. 3 sausages, 2 chicken legs, and 2 pieces or pork. Say hello to wasted food. We ate the pork because we were hungry but the rest was waste. We would never have taken then in the past.
5 minutes after that, 45 minutes into dinner we finally got our first plate of meats which we attacked. Our waiter came by and asked if we wanted any specific meats. We asked for lamb and sirloin. He went to the kitchen and brought them right back.

The next 25 minutes went like this with no meat delivered.

Would you like more meat? Yes please
Would you like more meat? Yes please
Would you like more meat? Yes please
Would you like more meat? Yes please
Would you like more meat? Yes please

Our waiter came by and asked if we wanted dessert? My reply was we would like more meats. 5 more minutes and the waiter came by and asked did you get the meats? I did no. At this point we were just done and Wanted this to be over so I asked for the check.

Eating g at the very special type of cuisine was difficult during the Covid19 pandemic. Meat arrived not on the skewer with no explanation other than. This is beef. I felt like as a table of three we were passed over by the gaucho guys in favor of larger parties in the same room. The food was good. The service lacked.

Went here on Father’s Day post COVID-19 times and the best way to put it was: the hot mess express.

1) I set a reservation but even though we were 10 minutes early, we were sat 15 minutes after our reservation. So waited 25 minutes even though I had confirmed the day prior as well.
2) the staff was FRANTIC. Everyone was running around like they had their head cut off. Super frazzled and it was obvious.
3) new protocols because of all the COVID restrictions. Had to check off our order for the buffet bar. The piece of paper was so small it wasn’t a huge surprise our orders were TOTALLY wrong and we couldn’t order again? Isn’t it supposed be all you can eat?
4) our server asked us what kinda meats we wanted since they wouldn’t be able to cut table side anymore. And we were feeling a bit > ???? < so what kinda meat options are there? Can we choose? Nope you just said beef and surprise it came out!
5) someone came before they dropped off the meat on how we liked our meat cooked. I said medium rare for the whole table. The meat came and it was WELL DONE. Waste of meat!
6) the meat was also SUPEE DUPER salty. I was eating potatoes and plantains to counter act the salt. We just ate it bc everyone was running around so much that we weren’t sure when someone was gonna help us again.
7) guests were walking around the restaurant to the restroom, entering and exiting WITHOUT a mask. Also didn’t feel like the tables were far enough from each other. The restaurant was packed!!

Overall it was a pretty poor experience from our first time which was before all the restrictions. I hope they are able to make things better! I would suggest having an order card per person at each table so there aren’t so many mix ups!! The poor servers not only had to wait on tables but had to grab our salad orders from a tiny piece of paper. No wonder everyone was so frazzled. Also, I do hope they enforce the mask wearing as they should in California!
