   WOST NIGHT FOR ME AND MY WIFE. TOOK HER HERE FOR HER BIRTHDAY. FOOD AS GREAT. GOT MY BILL $158.02 NO PROBLEM. GIVE THE GUY A $50 DOLLAR TIP. SO $208.02 PAY AND IT COME OUT OF MY BANK. THEY TELL ME WAIT IT DID NOT GO THROUGH. AND I'M SHOWING THEM IT DID. THEN A MIN LATER THEY CHARGED ME AGAIN 208.02 THEY TELL ME SO IT'S THE COMPUTER. YOU'LL GET YOUR MONEY BACK IN 6 DAYS. $416.04 IN ONE NIGHT. WHAT A WAY TO MESS UP MY WIFE BIRTHDAY

   Was Mexican Mother's Day so they were really busy and far noisier than our previous visits. Even with that they actually sat us ahead of our reservation time. Gauchos were more attentive than usual, and we never went without of services and our plates were never empty. It was our waitress first day, so she had a coach and the two of them keep our drinks full and appropriate attention. One in our group was there for the first time and was very happy and impressed with the food and service. The other three in our party had been there several times and were as equally happy as our previous trips. If I had anything to offer for improvement one of our party has a life threatening Seafood allergy and usually that is addressed by the wait staff and this time it was not. We know what to steer clear of but a first timer would not. Keep up the fabulous work. When both the Managers on duty are bussing tables and seating guest to make sure everything is done correctly it speaks a lot about the quality of the restaurant and their desire to do things right.

   Mother’s Day event for my wife and kids. My kids purchased gift for that special occasion. At check out at the table by our waitress Mandy she informed us that we could not use the gift cards. So I had to pay with my card. Reluctant at that response I asked a floor manager and he responded I ya e been taking them and charging all day with those gift cards. He asked who told you that you couldn’t and informed him it was our waitress Mandy. Then he related the message to the other manager/ supv . in charge Jaqueline. She took my info my cell number and name. Took my cards and stated that they would refund my money back to my card and charge it on the gift cards and the remaining balance will be charge on the card I used. Hopefully this is taken care of soon.

   THe more I go to Texas de Brazil the more disappointing it is. If the meat isn't raw, it is charcoal. Sadly this place is becoming more and more disappointing especially for what we are being charged for. I look forward to a moment where the food is better and the service is better. It has a long way to go. This is the second time we have had such a bad experience. Why would I recommend this place to anyone after our experience.

    The Hostess was alone, overwhelmed, along with being understaffed on a high traffic time and day. Reservation was done with the intent of not being a walk in, to ensure of a table and to lessen the wait. Waiting even though I had a reservation was 15 min. Waitress was not the most tentative and had poor attitude. I normally with this experience would NOT recommend, however the better experience unfortunately is during the week.

    Overall, it was a great experience. However, when we were taken to our original table, there was a bunch of gnats or something. Maybe some food that was left behind. It was kinda disappointing but our waitress turned it all around. She was so awesome and took good care of us.

    The bomb. Bring your appetite with you and muchas ganas if you are a picanha lover. Satisfaction guarantee in all aspects such as the meat, salad bar, service, drinks ( passion fruit lemonade), and the manager special ( Filipi hospitality). Go TDB. Room for dessert, oh yeah, passion fruit mousse.

    The most beautiful experience I’ve had at a restaurant. The food is amazing. The steak is so tasty. All the cuts of meat are excellent! Will definitely go back again, very soon!

    Party of 4 for Easter dinner. Most of the meats were too salty for our taste. The Brazilian cheesecake used to have more of the chocolate than it does now. The drinks were good, and their salad bar superb!!!

    food was excellent, service was outstanding, ambience is very zen, loved everything about this restaurant but it's not for everyone's budget. Highly recommend, brought my friends for their first time in a Texas de Brazil and they truly loved everything!

    Always loved eating at Texas Brazil and have never anything bad to say. This was a special occasion (my son’s 16th birthday) and invited family to celebrate his birthday. Which by the way some of the family was a first time eating here. Our waitress was Veronica ( if I am not mistaken). She was nice but was bad when it came to serving even our drinks. I had to call her to attend us when she would pass by. I did notice she was more aware of other tables she had. There was one in front that had 4 at table and would keep going back to see if they needed anything. But always had to get her attention to serve us. Mashed potatoes and plantains were all given have ways we were into eating. I had asked if they could bring lamb chops and was told it did not include with our buffet. We were surprised because we have gone several times and know for dinner they always have. But to our surprise as we were leaving we saw someone coming out with lamb chops. I was not happy at all. Salad bar was lacking because personal in charge of keeping everything available for people was not being kept. We also got charged 4 bottles of sparkling water I never asked to be brought. I thought when asked for regular water it was part of something new. Paying about $800 and leaving mostly disappointed with service we got. Reservation for 10. I honestly don’t think I want to go to the McAllen location again. I will stay with location in Houston.

    Most of the meat was overcooked, mostly all well done. It took about 15 minutes before anyone came to our table to offer any meats. Maybe it was an off day as our previous experience was great.

    It was my first time eating at Texas de Brazil, or eating at a place like this at all, and I was taken aback by how kind my server, Shane, was. We were immediately tended to and informed about our it works. Not only that, but the food was amazing. 10/10 will come back.
